Europe's Migration Crisis: Belfast Riots Expose Elite Gaslighting

The P.A.S. Report Podcast

Europe's Migration Crisis has reached a breaking point, and the Belfast riots exposed a reality that political leaders can no longer ignore. As governments blame social media, misinformation, and public frustration, millions of citizens across Europe are asking a different question: What happens when governments stop listening to their own people? The attempted decapitation attack in Belfast serves as the catalyst for a much larger conversation about mass migration, immigration policy, assimilation, national identity, censorship, and the growing divide between European governments and the people they govern. This episode examines why trust in institutions continues to collapse, why anti-establishment parties continue to surge, and why many citizens believe political leaders spent years ignoring obvious warning signs while dismissing legitimate concerns as racism, extremism, or misinformation. What You'll Learn In This Episode: Why the Belfast riots represent a broader European backlash against mass migration policies How assimilation failures and parallel societies fuel growing social and political tensions Why many Europeans believe governments police speech more aggressively than they protect public safety How political elites use misinformation narratives, censorship, and social pressure to control public debate Why the crisis unfolding across Europe serves as a warning for the United States and other Western nations From the Henry Nowak case to the response of Northern Ireland's political leadership, this episode connects the dots between immigration policy, cultural cohesion, government legitimacy, and the dangerous consequences that emerge when leaders stop listening to the people they represent. Topics covered: Europe's Migration Crisis, Belfast Riots, Michelle O'Neill, Henry Nowak, Northern Ireland, Mass Migration, Immigration Policy, Assimilation Failures, No-Go Zones, Parallel Societies, Free Speech Censorship, Social Media, Administrative State, Government Legitimacy, Western Civilization.

Savage reacts to the attempted street beheading in Ireland and the killing of Henry Nowak in England. He warns that these crimes reflect the consequences of European immigration policies and political correctness. He recalls the Daniel Pearl beheading and his prophetic chapter "Unmasking Islamofascism," from his 2005 Bestseller "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder." In the book, he predicted that radical Islam was a global political movement that would threaten Western Civilization. He warns that Western cultural degeneracy and demographic decline signal dire days ahead for Europe and America. Having been banned from entering the United Kingdom in 2009, Savage was "a canary in the coal mine" for the collapse of the once-great empire.

//The Wire//2300Z June 9, 2026// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: ATTEMPTED BEHEADING REPORTED IN IRELAND, RIOTS UNDERWAY. U.S. ARMY HELICOPTER SHOT DOWN IN GULF OF OMAN. KARMELO ANTHONY FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Middle East: Overnight one U.S. Army AH-64 helicopter crashed feet-wet off the coast of Oman. Both the pilot and the co-pilot/gunner managed to egress from the aircraft, and were rescued two hours after the crash. At the time of the crash, CENTCOM did not disclose the reason for the incident, however this afternoon President Trump confirmed that this aircraft was shot down by Iranian forces.Analyst Comment: Two hours in the water is a long time in terms of Combat Search and Rescue, and it's a miracle that they were rescued. Of note, some sources are claiming that the rescue method for the downed aviators took the form of an unusual source...an American Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV). If this is true (which we may never know), this would be the first instance of an American drone boat being used for rescue operations in a combat zone.Northern Ireland: Yesterday evening an extremely graphic beheading attempt was reported on a residential street in Belfast. One Sudanese national attacked a local, gouging out his eyes with a knife and attempting to behead him. The exceptionally brutal attack was captured on tape, and the video circulated widely in the moments after the attack. The status of the victim remains unclear, but he is receiving medical care for his many wounds. The victim has not been identified by name, however he's reportedly from Scotland and also hard-of-hearing, leaving him more vulnerable to the attack.Analyst Comment: The attacker was initially hospitalized at The Mater, the main hospital in Belfast. It is unclear as to if the attacker is still physically located at this site, but he was spotted in the hospital by local intelligence networks as he was being given a medical exam post-incident. The suspect is most likely being held at the Musgrave Custody Suite on Victoria Street, which is one of the more protected sites in Belfast and can hold high-security detainees. Despite the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) not charging this individual under terrorism charges, there's a very high likelihood that the attacker would not survive the first night once other detainees found out what he did. The assailant was granted asylum status as a refugee a few years ago, though the exact nature of this legal status is not entirely clear.-HomeFront-Texas: This afternoon Karmello Anthony was found guilty of the murder Austin Metcalf. So far limited protest activity has been observed outside the courthouse. Analyst Comment: No big mobilizations or riots have been observed yet, however more significant efforts might take some time to organize as it's only a Tuesday. Too soon to tell if this is going to become a hot state of unrest, but seeing as tension has been building on this for a while, it could go either way. The next big decision point will be sentencing, which will be decided soon by the same jury.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: As one might expect, the situation in Northern Ireland has reached a boiling point. Mass riots are already underway as of this report (and likely planned for the next few weeks), as the Irish begin to organize and mobilize. Tonight, local paramilitary groups have requested all residents of Belfast to turn off their doorbell cameras, and PSNI checkpoints are already established around the city preparing for the events of the next few days.Concerning the site of the mutilation, the location of the attempted beheading has been host to violence before. This exact apartment building has been the site of violent murders in the past. In 2019, two bodies were found brutally murdered inside Kinnaird Close, with the trial for the murderer concluding a couple of years ago.Of note, the attack yesterday evening was halted by Irishmen who intervened to attempt to stop the murder. Matthew McKiernan (Gaelic spelling: Maitiu Mág Tighearnán) has been identified as the man who clubbed the African with a hurley stick, attempting to stop the attack. He and other pedestrians did what they could, but by the time they were able to intervene, exceptionally grave wounds had already been sustained by the victim. They did their best, but there was only so much they could do as taking care of the problem was not a viable option as police were seconds away from the scene and would have absolutely arrested citizens for continuing the counterattack on the African after they arrived.Nevertheless, the entire city of Belfast is calling for blood right now, and tonight they might just get it. For historical context, this brutal attack took place in one of the most contentious districts on Earth. Belfast was one of the epicenters of the Troubles in Northern Ireland, and the northwest quadrant of the city is still host to many "peace lines" to this very day. Granted, most of the old maps designating the Catholic/Nationalist/Republican (CNR) areas from the Protestant/Ulster/Loyalist (PUL) areas of the city are a bit outdated and not as strictly delineated in real life as it is marked on the map sometimes. Plus, the old history of political ideology, infamous organizations, and current political leadership is incredibly complicated. In short, neither side can rightfully point the finger at the other on this issue, because elements on both sides have resulted in furthering mass migration into Ireland. On the ground, this attack took place in a strong CNR community, right along a historic dividing line, so multiple communities have a vested interest in handling the situation. Even before sunset this evening communities which have quite literally killed each other over dividing lines, are at least beginning to acknowledge the seriousness of the current migration situation, while also acknowledging that singing songs and holding hands is still unlikely between Protestants and Catholics in many of these communities. Though the situation is incredibly complicated, when it comes to beheadings in the streets, the seriousness of the situation is stratifying along bigger lines than the history of the region. At his core, an Irishman is an Irishman, regardless of affiliation, and much like most of Western Civilization, the unofficial national sports are drinking, fighting, and blowing stuff up. As a result, there are solutions to these problems, if attention on all sides can be focused appropriately. There may indeed be more room for slight-cooperation between age-old factions which might have the chance to re-examine what lines of division are worth postponing for a time, as more pressing threats are already inside the fence....threats which are neither Catholic nor Protestant.Analyst: S2A1 Research: https://publish.obsidian.md/s2underground Disclaimer: No LLMs were used in the writing of this report. //END REPORT//

Today on Uncommon Sense, we're discussing the tragic state of the modern world. From the protests in Ireland to growing frustration across Western nations, many people feel as though their voices are no longer being heard by the institutions that claim to represent them. I'll share why I support the right of people to protest and why I believe the demonstrations in Ireland have resonated with so many people around the world. We'll also discuss what I see as a deeper spiritual crisis affecting modern society. Many of the political, cultural, and social problems we face today are symptoms of a broader moral and spiritual decline, one that cannot be solved through politics alone. In this episode:My thoughts on the protests in IrelandWhy so many citizens now feel disconnected from their governmentsThe growing divide between ordinary people and powerful institutionsThe role of faith, morality, and personal responsibility in rebuilding societyWhy I believe many of today's crises point to a deeper spiritual battleWhether you agree or disagree, this episode is an invitation to think critically about the direction of our culture, our governments, and our future.--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app

Spouting Off with Karen Kataline Immigration, Western Civilization, Psychiatric Drugs, and Green Energy Karen Kataline Continues the Alan Nathan Show in Alan's Memory In this episode of The Alan Nathan Show / Alan Nathan All-Stars, host Karen Kataline opens by acknowledging the untimely passing of Alan Nathan and explaining that the show continues in his memory and honor. She notes that she and Alan had often done Mondays together and says it is an honor to help continue the program during this transitional period for the Main Street Radio Network. Throughout the episode, Karen frames the broadcast as part of a new chapter while preserving the spirit, name, and tradition of the Alan Nathan All-Stars. Immigration, Libertarianism, and Sanctuary Policies Karen's first guest is the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, identified in the transcript as Mark Krikorian or a similar spelling. They discuss immigration enforcement, libertarian arguments for open immigration, and the tension between open borders and a welfare state. Mark argues that libertarians once aligned more closely with conservatives on taxes, regulation, and the size of government, but now often align with the left on questions of sovereignty, borders, and immigration. He cites Milton Friedman's argument that open immigration and a welfare state cannot coexist and says that while social programs can be tightened, the welfare state is not simply going away. Chicago, ICE, and Local Non-Cooperation The discussion then turns to Chicago, Cook County, and Illinois, which Mark describes as sanctuary jurisdictions. He explains that ICE is not asking local police to conduct immigration checks in the street, but to hold criminal suspects who are already arrested and fingerprinted if they are deportable, so ICE can take custody. He argues that sanctuary policies release deportable offenders back into communities and says this especially harms immigrant neighborhoods. Karen and Mark also criticize Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, accusing them of interfering with immigration enforcement and downplaying violence in Chicago. Karen Reflects on Alan Nathan and the Show's Transition After the first interview and intervening ad segments, Karen returns to discuss the show's transition after Alan Nathan's death. She encourages listeners to hear the tribute program that aired over the weekend and recalls clips of Alan and his wife Jane from years earlier, describing their on-air chemistry as entertaining, lively, argumentative, and classic talk radio. Karen says it is a sad time for everyone at Main Street Radio Network, but emphasizes that the Alan Nathan Show and Alan Nathan All-Stars tradition will continue. James Hankins on The Golden Thread and Western Civilization Karen then welcomes James Hankins, described as a Harvard University historian and co-author of The Golden Thread: A History of the Western Tradition. Hankins explains that the “golden thread” is a metaphor for the Western tradition, and that the book aims to recover the history of Western civilization from the ancient Greeks and Romans through the Middle Ages and into the modern world. He argues that this history has not been properly taught in schools or universities for decades, leaving people without a shared understanding of democracy, republics, communism, socialism, and the meaning of Western civic life. Communism, Democratic Socialism, and Historical Amnesia Karen connects the discussion to contemporary politics, warning against Marxism, communism, and democratic socialism. Hankins says many people who call themselves democratic socialists do not understand what the term means or how socialism has operated historically. He argues that adding the word “democratic” does not solve the deeper problem, because socialism has not historically favored democracy. Karen and Hankins agree that many public arguments suffer because people no longer share basic definitions or historical knowledge, especially about the distinction between a republic and a democracy. Dr. Toby Watson on Psychiatric Drugs and Violence Later, Karen interviews clinical psychologist Dr. Toby Watson, who says he has worked on research and testimony related to psychiatric medications, including SSRI antidepressants and black-box warning labels. Watson says his work involves outcome research on psychotropic medications and forensic cases where people with no history of violence commit violent or self-destructive acts after taking medication. Karen asks whether antidepressants and psychiatric medications may be contributing to violence, especially in the wake of Columbine-era discussions. Watson answers strongly that SSRIs can increase suicidal thoughts and behavior and says this is acknowledged in FDA black-box warnings. Akathisia, Political Motives, and Youth Medication Dr. Watson discusses akathisia, describing it as an inner agitation or restlessness that can make people feel as though they want to crawl out of their skin. He says it can occur with SSRIs and is even more common with antipsychotics. Karen asks whether suppression of this information may be about more than money, suggesting possible political motives. Watson agrees that politics can be involved and argues that children in poverty, especially those connected to Medicaid or Medicare systems, are disproportionately medicated at higher doses even when diagnosis and symptom severity are considered. He also references Anatomy of an Epidemic and argues that long-term psychiatric drug use can contribute to disability and general decline. Gender Ideology, Violence Profiles, and Dr. Watson's Cautions Karen and Watson also discuss social contagion, gender ideology, and political violence. Karen asks about the murder of Charlie Kirk and whether the alleged killer was on psychiatric medication. Watson says he has no direct knowledge and is not involved in that investigation, cautioning that too much misinformation is circulating to make a firm claim. However, he says the suspect fits a known profile for certain kinds of shooters and that, statistically, it would not surprise him if psychiatric medication were involved. Karen closes the short segment by inviting Watson back and directing listeners to his work online. Steve Goreham / Gorham on Green Energy and Rising Electricity Prices Karen closes the show with Steve Goreham or Steve Gorham, described as executive director of the Climate Science Coalition of America and author of Green Breakdown: The Coming Renewable Energy Failure. The conversation focuses on rising electricity prices, renewable energy policies, and what Karen calls the “green new scam.” Steve argues that expensive electricity increases are concentrated in blue states that have pursued aggressive green policies, naming California, Maine, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. He contrasts those with states such as Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Missouri, which he says rely more on natural gas or coal and have seen smaller increases. AI, Data Centers, Pipelines, and Energy Reality Steve argues that green-energy policies are running into the reality of rising electricity demand, especially from artificial intelligence and data centers built by companies such as Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon. He says AI-related electricity demand requires constant 24-hour power and cannot be reliably supported by wind and solar alone. Karen and Steve also discuss the Keystone pipeline, New York pipeline politics, natural gas constraints in New England, offshore wind leverage, and the role of Trump administration energy policy. Steve closes by directing listeners to his book Green Breakdown and website. Closing the New Chapter of the Alan Nathan All-Stars Karen ends the show by saying the Alan Nathan All-Stars are heading into a new chapter, but with Alan Nathan still serving as the program's guiding star. The episode as a whole blends remembrance of Alan with Karen's political and cultural commentary, moving through immigration enforcement, Western civilization, psychiatric drugs, gender ideology, energy policy, and the future of American public debate.

Alan Steinfeld Welcomes Robert Schoch to New Realities In this episode of New Realities / Portal to Ascension Radio, host Alan Steinfeld welcomes geologist and author Robert Schoch for a wide-ranging conversation about ancient civilization, the Great Sphinx, John Anthony West, solar outbursts, and what the past may reveal about humanity's future. Alan introduces Schoch as a geologist whose work helped bring geological analysis into controversial archaeological questions, especially through his redating of the Great Sphinx. Schoch explains that he teaches at Boston University, holds a PhD from Yale in geology and geophysics, and believes there was an earlier sophisticated cycle of civilization dating back to at least around 10,000 BC. John Anthony West and Symbolist Egypt Alan and Schoch spend significant time discussing the late John Anthony West, whom Schoch describes as both a close friend and research collaborator. Schoch explains that West was not a conventional academic Egyptologist, but had spent decades studying Egypt, astrology, symbolism, and the work of R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz. Together, they discuss the symbolist view of Egypt, which argues that the ancient Egyptians were not primitive animal worshipers, but encoded sophisticated spiritual, philosophical, and symbolic knowledge in their texts, monuments, and religious imagery. Schoch says West often criticized conventional academics for missing the deeper meaning behind Egyptian symbols. Meeting West and First Seeing the Sphinx Schoch recounts how he first met John Anthony West through a faculty member at Boston University who arranged for West to give a talk and then introduced him to Schoch. West had been looking for an open-minded geologist to evaluate whether the Sphinx showed signs of water weathering. Schoch says he was cautious at first and told West that photographs were not enough; he would need to inspect the site in Egypt. In 1990, West invited him to Egypt for a reconnaissance trip, and Schoch says that within seconds of seeing the Sphinx, he recognized weathering patterns that appeared to be caused by rainfall and runoff rather than Nile flooding. Water Weathering and the Recarved Head A major part of the interview centers on Schoch's geological interpretation of the Sphinx. He argues that the body and enclosure show evidence of water weathering from precipitation, which would push the monument's origins back to a much wetter period before the modern Sahara. He also says he immediately noticed that the Sphinx's head was too small for its body and not weathered in the same way, leading him to conclude that the current head was likely recarved from an earlier, more weathered head. Schoch says he believes the original head may have been a lion or lioness, later reshaped into a dynastic human head when the Sphinx was reused or reappropriated. Egypt, Western Civilization, and Ancient Continuity Alan and Schoch also discuss Egypt's influence on later civilizations. They note that Greek philosophers such as Pythagoras and Plato acknowledged learning from Egyptian traditions, and they connect Egyptian symbolism with later religious and cultural forms, including Judaism and Christianity. Schoch and Alan discuss parallels involving Isis, Horus, Osiris, the ark, the altar, the Virgin Mary, and the Christian mass, presenting these connections as part of a larger continuity between Egypt and the foundations of Western civilization. Schoch frames the ancient Egyptian tradition as one that preserved deep symbolic and sacred knowledge, not merely mythology or primitive belief. The End of the Last Ice Age and Solar Catastrophe The conversation then turns to Schoch's theory that a major solar outburst around 9700 BC helped end the last Ice Age and devastated an earlier cycle of civilization. Schoch argues that the Sun became highly active, producing solar eruptions, coronal mass ejections, atmospheric disruption, radiation, vitrification, torrential rains, massive flooding, and rapid climate change. He distinguishes this from comet-impact theories, saying he believes the evidence better fits solar activity. In his view, the Sphinx's water weathering, worldwide flood traditions, and the collapse of earlier civilizations may all connect to this solar-driven catastrophe. Atlantis, Zep Tepi, and Gobekli Tepe Schoch links his Sphinx work with broader questions about lost civilization. He discusses Zep Tepi, the Egyptian “first time,” and says that astronomical and geological evidence may point to a period around 10,500 BC. Alan asks about Atlantis, and Schoch explains that he treats Atlantis less as a single geographic puzzle and more as evidence, through Plato, of a sophisticated civilization or cultural memory that existed before the end of the last Ice Age. Near the close, they also discuss Göbekli Tepe in Turkey, which Schoch says provides independent evidence of sophisticated civilization before 9700 BC and helps answer critics who once asked for another early site comparable in significance to the Sphinx. Solar Risk, Technology, and Modern Vulnerability Alan asks whether a similar solar event could happen again, and Schoch says he believes another major solar outburst is not only possible but inevitable over geological time. Schoch warns that modern technological civilization is extremely vulnerable to coronal mass ejections, solar flares, and electromagnetic effects that could disrupt electrical grids, communication systems, electronics, satellites, cars, pipelines, and nuclear power facilities. He compares the potential danger to the Carrington Event of 1859, which damaged telegraph systems, and says today's dependence on electronics makes modern society far more vulnerable than earlier cultures. Preparing Philosophically, Spiritually, and Practically Schoch says that although governments may be aware of solar risks, ordinary people face difficult practical questions because modern infrastructure is not easily protected. He suggests that going underground or shielding systems beneath rock could help preserve some technology, but acknowledges that society cannot simply move underground. He and Alan discuss the need for communities to think ahead, prepare mentally and spiritually, and consider both practical resilience and philosophical readiness. Schoch says ancient Egypt's concept of sacred science may be important here because it joins science and spirituality rather than separating them. Closing with Ancient Knowledge and Future Questions Toward the end, Alan describes Schoch's work as a bridge between alternative culture and academic research. Schoch says studying the past is not only interesting for its own sake, but may reveal knowledge, warnings, technologies, and spiritual insights left by earlier civilizations. He points again to the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx Temple, and Göbekli Tepe as evidence that ancient people may have possessed both spiritual and technological sophistication beyond what mainstream timelines usually allow. The episode closes with Alan directing listeners to New Realities, Robert Schoch's website, and the Portal to Ascension Conference in Irvine, California, where Schoch plans to speak further about these themes.

Western civilization did not invent slavery — it ended it. Western civilization didn't harm countries through colonialism, it helped them. These are hard truths to swallow but they are true. So, why do so many people hate civilization? Let's define civilization, shall we? Let's look at the chief characteristics that a civilization must possess. We shall list them in this episode. Why are Israel and America singled out for hatred and not Sweden, France, and Germany? Why Reform Judaism is more socially acceptable. Any thug, either urban or international, is advantaged by willingness to use violence. In a robust civilized landscape, thugs lose their advantage — naturally, they hate civilization. Episode Synopsis:Season Five of the Blessed Hope Podcast is underway.  I know that for many of you, the Book of Romans is your favorite letter in all the New Testament.  When we wrapped up our time in 2 Corinthians a couple of months ago, the clock started on launching Season Five.  I love Romans, I've preached through it twice using the lectio continua style of exposition, and I have lectured on parts of Romans on a number of other occasions.  So I am very excited about season five, and I've worked very hard to get this verse by verse deep dive Bible study ready to go.There can be little doubt that Paul's letter to the church in Rome is one of the most important letters ever written.  As we will discuss in this episode, the Epistle to the Romans has had a tremendous impact upon the course and history of Western Civilization, as well as a huge impact upon the people of God ever since it was written.  For reasons we will address momentarily, the Book of Romans has a clarity and power about it which brings Reformation and renewal to Christ's church whenever it is proclaimed from the pulpit and studied by the people of God. We open Season Five with two episodes devoted to the importance and historical background of the epistle.  In this first episode we'll take a look at the ways in which this letter has impacted the world in which we live, and we'll consider some of the key figures in church history and their testimonies about the influence which Romans has had upon them and their ministries.  The influence of Paul's letter to the church in Rome is truly remarkable. That done, we'll briefly look at some of the main themes of the letter.  What ground does Paul seek to cover in this letter to a church in the very capital of a pagan empire?  Why did the renewed interest in Romans some 500 years ago generate many of the controversies which led to the Protestant Reformation and the split from the Roman Catholic church?  Why does Romans still generate controversies, such as those associated with the New Perspective on Paul?  What about those doctrines long associated with confessional Reformed theology?  Can we find them in Romans?  So, in addition to the themes laid out by Paul in this letter, I'll identify some of the main controversies we will address when we get into the meat of the letter.  I'll also explain my operating assumptions as we open a new season–why am I approaching this letter from an exegetical, theological, historical, and confessional perspective? For show notes and other recommended materials located at the Riddleblog as mentioned during the Blessed Hope Podcast, click here:  https://www.kimriddlebarger.com/

Are we watching the deliberate dismantling of Western Civilization? In this explosive episode, Joe exposes the shocking parallels between the collapse of law and order in Europe and the rapid erosion of foundational principles right here at home. From open borders and mass migration shifting local demographics to the mainstream media openly celebrating the displacement of traditional heritage, the system is being weaponized against the very people who built it. Joe breaks down the stark reality of how globalist agendas, political correctness, and public institutions are pushing everyday citizens to the back of the line—and why America is just a few steps behind Europe's near-total transformation.Joe sits down for an exclusive, unfiltered interview with former Ohio gubernatorial candidate Casey Putsch. Despite facing intense establishment pushback and localized corporate deplatforming, Putsch captured 17.5% of the primary vote on a shoestring budget. Joe dives deep into his clash with mainstream media, his stance on free speech, and what his 150,000-strong voter base signals for the future of the "America First" movement. Is there a permanent political realignment brewing for working-class Americans who refuse to be silenced, or has the system effectively neutralized independent leaders? Finally, Joe shifts his focus to the frontlines of the censorship war and a breakdown of law and order in our own backyard. We examine the chilling case of a New York School Resource Officer fired for exercising his political free speech, contrasted against the European Union's staggering multi-billion-euro push for mass censorship. To wrap up, we expose a jaw-dropping local outrage out of Colorado, where a sophisticated, violent cop-shooter was granted clemency after serving only a fraction of his 50-year sentence for a month-long terror spree. This is a fierce, eye-opening look at a society on the brink—tune in to see how these identical playbooks are playing out across the globe.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali was born in Somalia, grew up in Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and Kenya, fled to the Netherlands in 1992 to escape an arranged marriage, became a member of the Dutch parliament, and collaborated with the filmmaker Theo van Gogh on a short film about the treatment of women under Islam. Ever since Van Gogh was murdered by a Dutch Islamist on an Amsterdam street in 2004, with a death threat addressed to her pinned to his chest with a knife, she has lived under security protection. She is the author of several books, among them Infidel, her memoir, and Heretic, in which she argued that Islam requires a reformation from within if it is to be compatible with liberal democratic civilization. For twenty years she was among the world's most prominent atheists—not merely in her personal convictions but in her public arguments, which held that reason and individual freedom were incompatible with religious submission of any kind. In November of 2023, she announced that she had become a Christian. That announcement, and the essay she wrote explaining it, raised one of the most searching questions in contemporary intellectual life: what does a civilization require in order to defend itself, and can secular liberalism supply it? This week, Ayaan Hirsi Ali joins the Tikvah Podcast to discuss her diagnosis of what political Islam is doing to Europe and to America—a diagnosis that has only sharpened since October 7—and her argument that the assault on Jews and Jewish life is not merely a Jewish problem but a leading indicator of a broader civilizational vulnerability. This conversation was recorded live before members of the Tikvah Society in New York City. If you'd like information about joining the Tikvah Society, write to us at society@tikvah.org and we'll get right back to you. If you're being honest, you know something has shifted in this culture. Most of us feel it even if we can't name it. The language has changed, the standards have changed, emotional performance has replaced principled conviction, and the men willing to hold a hard line are being told to sit down and apologize. Today's guest, Dale Partridge, doesn't apologize. And. He makes the case for why you shouldn't either. We cover the philosophical and cultural forces driving the effeminization of men and society, why a man without a defined worldview is a man who can be pushed around, the political and moral landscape men are being asked to navigate right now, and what it practically looks like to reclaim the kind of masculinity this culture is working overtime to erase. Welcome back to When Words Fail, Music Speaks—the podcast where host James Cox uses the healing power of music to tackle life's toughest moments. In today's episode, James sits down with a true legend of '80s metal: Chris Holmes, the iconic guitarist behind the cult classic band W.A.S.P.Chris takes us on an unfiltered journey from the chaotic hey‑day of metal stardom—wild parties, drug‑filled tours, and the infamous “The Decline of Western Civilization” footage—to the painful lows of broken trust, a reputation marred by alcoholism, and a surprising late‑life diagnosis of dyslexia. He opens up about surviving cancer, battling personal demons, and why he never learned to read until his mid‑30s.But the story doesn't end in the past. Chris now channels his relentless passion into a new supergroup—Terminal—featuring members from Saliva, Tesla, and other heavy‑rock powerhouses. They're sketching out a fresh album, planning a 2024 tour, and building a brand‑new website while keeping the spirit of pure, unfiltered rock alive.Join us as Chris reflects on what still fuels his hunger for the guitar, how music saved—or didn't save—him, and why the raw, electric sound remains his heartbeat. Whether you're a lifelong metal fan or someone searching for hope through music, this conversation proves that even after the darkest riffs, the stage lights never truly dim.Grab your headphones, turn up the volume, and let the conversation begin.

In this wild episode of Everyday Black Men, Riker, Sham, Reed, Whyte Collar Suge, Armstead, and the Black Libertarian bounce from Black Friday madness to debates about capitalism, poverty, and why people will abandon their families for a good deal. The crew jokes about military games, busted economic systems, and whether America's biggest companies have quietly become untouchable monopolies, while Reed and Riker clash over taxes, wealth, and what actually fixes society. Between serious conversations, the episode constantly swerves into chaos with Walmart jean deals, Armstead's legendary pants size, old-school shopping memories, and Whyte Collar Suge declaring that “two men on one horse is gay” for absolutely no reason. By the end, the guys somehow connect Nigerian tragedy, bargain shopping, and killing the Black Libertarian first into one perfectly unhinged conversation that only Everyday Black Men could pull off.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/everyday-black-men--2988631/support.

The Left's Plot to Erase Western Civilization with Scott Jennings

The Narrative

This week, CNN political commentator Scott Jennings delivers a direct indictment of a radical anti-American movement that has hijacked traditional liberal politics. This movement replaces paychecks with pronouns and border security with radicalism. Because the far Left continues to embrace this extreme, increasingly violent version of liberalism, we are now in a fight for the survival of Western civilization. CCV President Aaron Baer and US Senator Jon Husted join the conversation to expose the ongoing destruction that liberal politics have pushed on America, including: A poverty trap carefully constructed to punish work and destroy the nuclear family. Radical activists attempting to force boys into girls' locker rooms and bathrooms. American citizens fleeing blue-state chaos for the sanity of red-state leadership. Threats from the Iranian regime are downplayed, even though they have been the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism. The false belief that rights come from a government script or a judge rather than from God. Listen today to hear why the survival of the American experiment depends on a relentless defense of the truth. More About Scott Jennings Scott Jennings is a prominent conservative political commentator on CNN, known for his sharp insights and thought-provoking analysis. Dubbed “The Black Sheep of CNN” by the Daily Mail and “Lonely Scott” by Bill Maher for his engaging nightly debates, Jennings has become a fixture of CNN’s election and major event coverage. As the network's senior conservative commentator, Scott brings a unique perspective, blending humor and candor grounded in his rural American roots, to deliver compelling arguments and lively discussions on the news of the day. Scott’s career spans decades at the intersection of politics, media, and academia. A trusted advisor on four presidential campaigns, he served as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and played pivotal roles in high-profile Senate and congressional races. His expertise in political strategy has made him a respected analyst on CNN and a prolific writer featured in publications like The LA Times and Gannett. Beyond the campaign trail, Scott has taught at Harvard’s Kennedy School, shaping the next generation of public servants. He is also a founding partner of RunSwitch Public Relations, Kentucky’s largest PR and public affairs firm. More About Senator Jon Husted Jon Husted began serving Ohioans in the US Senate in January 2025. For more than two decades, the people of Ohio have trusted him to fight for their jobs, values, and families. Husted started his life in a foster home before his loving parents, Jim and Judy, adopted him. He is the oldest of three children and was raised in northwest Ohio’s Williams County. The small community instilled in him the importance of faith, family, and hard work, which remain the foundation of his public service. In 2000, Husted won the election to the Ohio House of Representatives. He later was elected unanimously to lead the chamber as Speaker of the House from 2005 to 2009. As Speaker, Husted expanded educational freedom for Ohio children through the creation of the EdChoice Scholarship. Husted followed that with service in the Ohio State Senate until becoming the secretary of state in 2011. Husted’s two successful terms in that role led Ohioans to elect him lieutenant governor, where he championed common-sense solutions to make state government work better for its citizens while lowering costs. Of all his responsibilities, Sen. Husted considers being a loving husband, father, and grandfather the most important. He and his wife, Tina, raised their three children, Alex, Kylie, and Katie, in Ohio, and make their home in Columbus. The Husteds became grandparents to Mae in 2023 and are active members of Riverside Church.

Last night, a packed hall in Dallas celebrated the fight to defeat sharia's stealth jihad against Western Civilization and five men at its forefront.  This is our time's “existential threat” to liberty and in Texas – and, indeed, the rest of America – we must learn from the mistakes Great Britain and most of Europe have made for too long. Notably, British freedom-fighter Tommy Robinson condemned the U.K.'s decades-long tolerance of primarily Pakistani Muslim rape gangs. And four Texan legislators – Congressmen Keith Self and Chip Roy and State Representatives Brent Money and Brian Harrison – described their efforts to push back on, and ultimately defeat, sharia-supremacism. On this occasion, they embraced our “Sharia-Free Pledge,” committing to do everything in their power to prevent the imposition of sharia here. We must now encourage others seeking elective office across this country to do the same at BanSharia.com.    This is Frank Gaffney.

In this episode, Brad Onishi unpacks the escalating clash between Donald Trump and Pope Leo—from Trump's public criticism of the Pope to the now-viral AI image depicting himself as Jesus. What might seem like another headline-grabbing controversy reveals deeper tensions between political power and religious authority, especially as figures like JD Vance attempt to downplay the conflict while advancing a broader ideological vision. Going beyond the news cycle, this episode explores the concept of “civilizational populism” and how it helps explain the contradictions at play: a movement that invokes Christianity and Western civilization while sidelining actual religious institutions and leaders. By tracing the intersection of theology, nationalism, and political strategy, Onishi offers a framework for understanding why this moment matters—and what it signals about the future of religion and power in American public life. www.axismundi.us Subscribe for $3.65: https://axismundi.supercast.com/ Subscribe to our free newsletter: https://swaj.substack.com/ Order American Caesar by Brad Onishi: https://static.macmillan.com/static/essentials/american-caesar-9781250427922/ Donate to SWAJ: https://axismundi.supercast.com/donations/new Learn more about your ad choices. Brian shares his personal academic journey — from his MA to his PhD work in Classics at the University of Iowa — and how that path led him to intellectual history and the heart of ancient philosophy. The conversation traces the direct lineage of Virtue Ethics from Aristotle through the raw rebellion of the ancient Cynics to the practical wisdom of Stoicism, culminating in the timeless writings of Marcus Aurelius. Brian explains why Virtue Ethics remains so powerful today: it is a “buck stops here” philosophy that focuses solely on what you can control — yourself — and pursues eudaimonia, a deep sense of peace with yourself and the world around you. They also discuss the book that introduced many modern listeners to Stoicism, William B. Irvine's A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy, and reflect on Tacitus' haunting line: “To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call empire; and where they make a desert, they call it peace.” A thoughtful, personal, and deeply grounded exploration of how ancient wisdom can help us live better today.

"Obviously Five Believers" Formed in 1980 by the Kentucky-born former roadie for X, Top Jimmy, his band Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs were local L.A. heroes. Playing a wicked blend of American roots music and scrappy R&B, Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs were a band that sizzled with equal parts howl and groove. Top Jimmy was a wildly charismatic frontman once described as an unholy combination of Howlin' Wolf and Shakespeare's Falstaff and he was such a ubiquitous presence in L.A. his outfit was once dubbed the scene's punk house band. The live show, which was a sweaty, frenetic blast of sweaty, rootsy bliss, found everyone from Tom Waits to Stevie Ray Vaughn joining them onstage. By the way, if you're wondering if the Van Halen track "Top Jimmy" is about the Top Jimmy I'm speaking of, let me just say this: there could only be one Top Jimmy. So: yes. The band's only album Pigus Drunkus Maximus which came out in 1987 on Steve Wynn of the Dream Syndicate's Down There label, was just reissued for the first time ever on CD and on pig pink colored vinyl and it's an essential addition to your record collection. Top Jimmy sang with Maria McKee and Phil Alvin, was seen getting a tattoo from John Doe in the Decline of Western Civilization and hung out with David Lee Roth. The guy was everywhere and remains, to this day, one of the most charismatic characters in rock and roll history. As for his sax player Steve Berlin, well, Mr. Berlin after leaving the band, went on to become one of the greatest rock and roll sax players ever. The Philadelphia born Berlin is a full time member of Los Lobos, and the list of people he's played with and produced is just ridiculous. Let me give you a partial list: The Tragically Hip, R.E.M., Faith No More, the Go-Go's, Great Big Sea, The Replacements, Rickie Lee Jones and the Beat Farmers. And believe me, I could go on. An unbelievable player of steady finesse and power, Steve Berlin is an absolute legend and I wish this conversation could have gone on for hours. www.topjimmyandtherhythmpigs.bandcamp.com (http://www.topjimmyandtherhythmpigs.bandcamp.com) www.bombshellradio.com (http://www.bombshellradio.com) www.stereoembersmagazine.com (http://www.stereoembersmagazine.com) www.alexgreenbooks.com (http://www.alexgreenbooks.com) Threads + Bluesky + Instagram: @emberspodcast Email: editor@stereoembersmagazine.com

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 149 The Long March Through the Institutions is a Marxist strategy for infiltrating the West through its institutions. Realizing by the 1960s that they would not be able to take the United States and Western Civilization from the outside, Marxists started formulating strategies in the "Western Marxist" canon to take it from the inside. That required taking over its institutions and transforming them and their culture. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay explains this insidious concept and strategy and how it continues to this day, now infiltrating conservative institutions too. Hankins argues that if students want to understand ideas like free speech, equality, and the rule of law, they need to know the long history story behind them—from ancient Greece and Rome through Christianity and the Enlightenment to the modern world. Along the way, he reflects on the controversy surrounding the Western canon, the debate over “dead white men,” and the question of whether a shared civilizational story is still possible in a pluralistic society.
