This week we are In the Dojo with Ralph Moore. Ralph and his wife, Ruby, started the Hope Chapel movement when they planted Hope Chapel Hermosa Beach in California. Twelve years and 30 church plants later, they partnered with Aaron and Stephanie Suzuki and a team of 26 others to plant Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii (now Anchor Church). Lately, they and a team planted a third church, Hope Chapel Honolulu. Besides being church planters, they are happy parents and grandparents. Ralph currently travels the globe, training pastors and leaders with simple, no-cost tools for making disciples, training leaders in-house and multiplying churches.

He resides in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife Kristie. He and Kristie are the proud parents of four children, and have a granddaughter and a grandson.

In 1972 he accepted a call to Rugby Evangelical Free Church where he ministered until 1986. During his time at Rugby, the church experienced a period of special blessing, with very many being converted. In 1986 Peter went to Bethlehem Evangelical Church in Port Talbot, South Wales (‘Sandfields', where Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones had previously ministered), where he pastored until 1994. Peter passed away peacefully in August 2017, he had been preaching for more than 50 years.
