    2022 Men's CAA Tournament Preview!

After debating the origins of the "so you're telling me there's a chance" GIF, Brendan, Cameron, and John jump into a preview of the men's CAA Tournament. The 8-seed Tribe takes on 9-seed Northeastern Saturday in the play-in game. What happened the last time these teams took the floor together, and what does the Tribe need to do to ensure it doesn't happen again? This morphs into a broader discussion of W&M's lack of growth and Dane Fischer's job security. Then, we talk the rest of the tournament -- what quarterfinal games are most interesting, and who's our pick to cut down the nets?     A Winning Week For The Women

    Cameron is absent this week, so John and Brendan work their way through the weekend that was for W&M basketball, starting with a 2-1 week for the women's team. What did they show in those three contests, and what can be carried forward? Meanwhile, the men's squad lost three straight with varying levels of moral victory in each -- a little bit against Towson, almost none against JMU, and a fair amount vs. UNCW. We go through the three games and share our frustrations and optimism. Then, with less than a month to go before the CAA Tournament, we take a look at both W&M's positioning for the tournament as well as the top of the league for both the men's and women's side.     Fool's Golden Weekend

    It was a great weekend in every way but one -- no wins on the basketball court. After our trip to Williamsburg to see some hoops, Brendan, John, and Cameron return to discuss the weekend that was. They start with the women, as a familiar theme picked up where it left off: what's up with those third quarters? And what did we see in the Tribe's tough loss to JMU that could be carried forward? Then, we move onto the men's games -- Thursday's game we're glad only Cameron got to watch, and the Gold Rush contest on Saturday that didn't go the way we hoped. What happened out there against UNCW? That discussion morphs into a conversation about the philosophy of player development and whether we think Dane Fischer's offense is best suited for this group of players. Eventually, we move into this coming weekend and how many wins we think each team will pick up as we move towards the stretch run of conference play.
