Your host, Mapleleaf (as the Warrior cat fans call me) or Blossom (as the Wings Of Fire fans call me) will share incredible facts, news and stories about the two series’s, Wings Of Fire and Warrior Cats. Episodes post every Sunday (mostly).
in this episode elle looks at the best (or worst?) tags and author's notes on that godforsaken fan fiction website. that's it. that's the episode.
elle takes you through her steps to surviving a week: the long-awaited sequel
in this lovely episode i read some things from my ‘mantras' pinterest board that have helped me keep going
Elle is back! In this episode, they bring their friends Alex @shotsbackfired and Jack (just jack. we guess. idk. it's a cover name.) to chat sh*t at ungodly hours.
im really sorry. also i'm rlly burnt out. and for added detail, the podcast episode was 25 minutes long
They'll be no episode this week because I'm going to The Eras Tour! Yes, the date has finally arrived, if you remember the episode where i announced i was going. The promised vlog of the concert will probably maybe perhaps be coming out next week!!!
A Gen Z discusses the Sephora raids run by 11-year-olds, and the horrifying concept of a ‘Gen Alpha Influencer'.
Episode 50 of Elle's Illogical Insights! Time to celebrate with nonsensical (which is rather on-brand) tumblr reposts onto pinterest. Also sorry there are a lot of pauses in this one lol I was finding the good ones
this is a silly short kinda filler episode tho :)) it is cool to know and good if you're neurodivergent like me and like fun facts :DD
Today Elle talks about Australian stereotypes and common assumptions. For 20 minutes. [I don't even really like it here. But at least it's better than America.]
Today Elle shares their first ever Dungeons and Dragons OC!
Today I talk about Dream's new 1 hour and 22 minute long ramble-sesh, and try to get some facts straight.
Spotify Wrapped discussion starts at 11:35. Before that section, Elle talks about Wilbur Soot's new surprise solo album ‘Mammalian Sighing Reflex'.
‘Internet Posts' because these are screenshots from Tumblr and Twitter put on Instagram and screenshotted by me. Also, ignore my laugh, I know it sounds like I have the hiccups. Hope you enjoyed this silly little episode, it's a bit different from what I normally do. :D
Go check out the last episode of this podcast for more context! (Btw, this episode does feature discussions of the f-slur ((BUT NOT ACTUALLY SAYING IT)), so if you don't know what that is, go look it up please or ask a queer person who can give you the right information)
In this episode, I cover all that I know on the streamer/YouTuber ‘Dream''s controversies and Twitter drama. As you can see by the length of the episode, there is a lot. This is a bit messy and I go back and forth a little trying to relay everything I've learnt, so sorry about that! All information (apart from direct sources like Dream himself) may not be fully liable, so please keep that in mind! Also, as someone in the SBI part of the fandom, I may be a little biased… shhh
Sorry this one took so long to go out, I've been busy with the end of school year, friendship drama and just life generally :) In this episode, I talk about the Fnaf movie, read a little drabble I wrote, and show off some drawings??? (don't get your hopes up. they're not great.)
12k plays! Woo! What better way to celebrate both that and reaching the 40th episode than by being so socially inept that I struggle to make conversation with LITERAL ROBOTS. [I CAN CHANGE THEIR RESPONSES IF I WANT TO, HOW AM I SO BAD AT THIS] Also why have two of my recent episodes been about AI? *morphs into an old-man technology skeptic* IT'S TAKIN OVER I TELL YOU- [btw if you've noticed the pronoun change in the description, hi, I have changed my pronouns to she/they, I still identify as a woman, but this just makes me feel a lot more comfortable and confident in myself, so please be respectful! Thanks!]
*synchronised dance to Stadium Rave* Elle was in a hyperactive mood today so they decided to rant to you about cameras, liminal space and time, and qsmp.
Today we discuss the song ‘Makeba' by Jain, popularised back in June by Tiktok. The song is dedicated towards Miriam Makeba, a South African singer and activist. Sorry, this episode kept glitching and not publishing properly for some reason.
By the way, there's an MMH update at the start of this episode. This is a little short story I wrote that I'm quite proud of, I hope you enjoy my silly little writings! Book blurb I guess: All the young deaf boy has is his cat and his books, the only form of real cuddles or fond looks he knew buried in pages, through other's memories, other's stories, fictional or not. Then, a mysterious being shows up on his doorstep and teaches him how to live his own story.
*YouTuber Voice* In this episode, I talk about braces, Helluva Boss, Starbucks and the futility of life. I also talk about the art contest that I and everyone else kinda forgot about. Cover credits to Cricket's Book!
This was a long time in the making, so sorry about not uploading. Info on the art contest will be out shortly! Warnings for almost-swearing and cringe. Cover art credits to Flamey (Hollyflight) tysm!
This has gotta be the worst AI ever…. and possibly the funniest. I actually had a lot of fun filming this episode!
Deadline is the 23-24th of September! COMMENT IF YOU ARE ENTERING OTHERWISE I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND IT
Sorry about the sideways video I'll fix it next time. Sorry most recent episodes have been videos, more audio episodes are coming! I hope you enjoy the new things I'm introducing in this episode, such as revealing which city I live in and talking to the camera with my unplugged microphone!
My phone's storage is seriously struggling. In this episode, I rank every Lovejoy song [apart from the covers]. Remember, this is depending on Lovejoy's own standard, not the overall standard of other music. [Lovejoy's standard is above regular standard, they are awesome and no one will change my mind. The best artists. Oh, what's that about glaive?-]
This is a bit chaotic at the start, but otherwise I'm pretty proud of this chapter. Like I said in the episode, expect longer and better chapters from now on! I have adjusted a lot from previous chapters, so I've fixed up a few plot holes and added some things. Eventually, I'll post the entire story online (probably Archive of Our Own) so you can read the full, fixed up thing!
Being hypocritical and making an aesthetic-ish vlog. This was really chill and the captions I edited are quite funny.
In this episode I check out the Snake-based game made by Spotify and chat about some things including the new Heartstopper season, the Barbie movie and the new Game Theory Generation Loss episode. All credit to the original creators featured in the music in this episode! None of the music featured is mine and go check out all the songs!
Part 2 of the ‘Random Fun Facts' episode, focusing on languages! I read a beautiful picture book called ‘What a Wonderful Word', depicting directly untranslatable words and their rough meanings that are fun, cute and/or relatable! I also list a few more random fun facts that I thought were interesting that don't relate to language at all, in true ellogical style. Cover art for this episode by TuliDraamaa
Disclaimer: Do not try to legitimately diagnose yourself with this test or any online tests on random untrusted websites, seek professional assistance. I saw this website on a recent Eret stream where they took online quizzes, and one of them was this ADHD Spectrum Test. Eret is a person who actually has professionally diagnosed ADHD, and I am not. We both did this quiz because it's funny and the results seem interesting.
Meet Me Halfway is the book I'm writing! Here's the description of this chapter, SPOILERS FOR PREVIOUS CHAPTERS! Chapter 8, ‘The Hammonds are on The Hunt' has the aftermath of Arlo and Byron's situation, with Bentley rushing home to alert everyone else of their disappearance. Cue Ryleigh's dramatic reaction and parent issues.
Generation Loss, sometimes abbreviated to Genloss, is a horror comedy show created by Ranboo. Today I explain what I know in terms of my theories, other's theories - the confirmed and non-confirmed - and MORE! Make sure to watch the full show if you haven't already as this contains a BUNCH of spoilers, although make sure to check the show's trigger warnings, it is rated 18+!
Credit to Maizy's Place for creating the bingo template! Ignore the fact that this was recorded ages ago, I kept putting off publishing it in favour of posting other episodes. Edit: I've won the spotlight page on Audio Advice - a website by Birk of Teen Debates, Natalie of Artify and Charlotte of Charlotte's Journal! If you'd like to check that out, here's the link: https://theaudioadvice.com/spotlight.
This is a video episode! Watch/listen to find out what I got tickets to in February next year! I might vlog it, but remember it's not for 6 months. Yes the cover is me.
This was an amazing (and funny) day out! I hope you enjoyed and I hope the video made you laugh or smile. The animals were all incredible, thank you for the tickets! This episode features my little sister again, you guys seem to like her. Did anyone notice I used part of the Heartstopper soundtrack in the video?
This is a heavier episode than normal, so if you're not in the mood to discuss therapy and anxiety disorders, feel free to leave this one for later and stick to the other, more lighthearted episodes. I hope you guys learned something in this episode! Website used: https://www.nhs.uk/mental-health/conditions/selective-mutism/
I worked super hard on this speech, so I appreciate any support! I hoped you enjoyed me and my sister singing part of Until I Found You (with Em Beihold) - Em Beihold Version and I hope I did the queer community proud! This a short episode because I didn't really want to record just the Roblox customise page and me talking for an entire 10 minutes, but I hope you enjoy and this was pretty fun (and funny) to record.
This was recorded on two seperate days, and the second one I was sick so I apologise if you despise sick voices (I don't like them either). I felt like people need to be educated on things like this to help to prevent discrimination. Thanks to M Squad Audio for the ‘Tools for Age Regression' episode that made me realise I needed to make this at some point. I tried to cover as many things as I could in this episode! (Including a little shout out of sorts at the end o7)
SORRY ABOUT THE EPISODE DELAY! I've been very busy with juggling schoolwork, mental health, friend catch-ups etc and haven't had the time to record! Episodes will continue to post Sundays at 8am AEST. Chapter 7 - Ravines Become Public Enemy Number One: Ruh roh raggy things are starting to go downhill. The title kinda says it all I don't know what you want from me. Arlo has a lot of questions though. I also based the title off of one from Wildcard by orphan_account on ao3 so credit to them!
As Australians, me and my younger sister tried American candy - Butterfingers, Reece's Pieces, Twizzlers, Jolly Ranchers and a Hershey's bar. Sorry this episode posted on Mothers Day, that was just how things lined up, and Happy Mothers Day!
In this episode, I, someone who isn't that great at art, give some advice for learning to draw or just improving your skills!
Everyone knows of Harry Potter. It's a classic, and will probably the equivalent of Jane Austen now, in a decade or ten. In this episode, we touch on the incredible world building versus the less stunning character building, how Harry Potter is lacking in the display of character development and trauma, and briefly touch on J.K Rowling's problematic views.
Cover art by TuliDraama! Thank you so much, I love it! In this episode of me reading my book, I read two chapters! This is because chapter 5 is a very short filler chapter just to check up on Bailey and Ryleigh. Don't worry, Bailey's perspective (or that weird mix of her and Rye's) will start getting exciting soon! Chapter 6, ‘The West is The Best', starts off with Byron playing some Lemon Demon, Bentley being the mother of the group and Arlo consequently breaking the fourth wall. Then the group set off on their horses to the other side of town, and the inevitable is asked.
Video is only available for Spotify listeners. All drawings shown are by me, but the Bluey logo was traced and for the ‘Ranboo', ‘Crime boys' and ‘Friends' ones I used references. For the favourite food one, I also love churros but forgot to edit that in. Credit to LumiProductions for creating the trend! #MeetThePodcaster
Today we look at weirdorconfusing.com. A website listing some very random and concerning products that me and my friend Doug laughed at one lunch break. You're welcome. I recorded this while sick because the grind never stops.
Apologies, but the video is only available for Spotify listeners. In this episode, I show some old drawings and writing from years ago that I've recently dug up while reorganising my room. I also read a letter I made addressed to myself from four years ago, kind of like the ones in time capsules. There is a bonus clip of Moongaze/Ivy/Book Person on Spotify (who I now will be referring to as just Ivy) and me ice skating, making her first reappearance since 2020 when this podcast was still Wings of Warriors (even if she only says a few quiet words).
Trigger Warning/Content Warning for a very brief mention of self esteem issues revolving around body weight. TIMESTAMPS FOR THE TW/CW: 4:05-4:44. This episode is directed toward TuliDraamaa's comment on the last episode, but can be for anyone! I explain the appearances of each main character of Meet Me Halfway! Check out my readings of the chapters for that if you haven't already. Spelling for each of the characters: Arlo Harris, Mr Byron Khari, Ryleigh ‘Rye' Hammonds, Bailey Hammonds and Bentley Hammonds.
