Anthony Carelli, also known as Santino Marella, is a Canadian professional wrestler and judoka, most famous for his 11-year stint with WWE. Carelli is recognized for his humorous and iconic character, Santino Marella, an Italian stereotype, often engaging in comedic segments and on-screen relationships with fellow wrestlers. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship in his debut match against Umaga and went on to win various other titles during his WWE career. Outside of wrestling, Carelli is the founder of Battle Arts Academy, a training facility for martial arts and professional wrestling, and he also serves as the official ambassador of Judo Canada. He retired from wrestling in 2014 but made sporadic appearances on the independent circuit, as well as occasional returns to WWE and Impact Wrestling.
