Una de estas mutaciones es especialmente sorprendente, pues afecta al crecimiento muscular de forma inusual y revela mecanismos inesperados de regulación genética. Esta mutación, llamada Calipigia, es la que creo una de las más extrañas y complicadas del mundo, y será el tema principal de este podcast.

DEVOCIÓN MATUTINA VESPERTINA“SALMOS”Narrado por: Joyce VejarDesde: Arizona, USAUna cortesía de DR'Ministries y Canaan Seventh-Day Adventist Church10 DE OCTUBRE SALMO 103:9-12 «Tan lejos de nosotros echó nuestras transgresiones como lejos del oriente está el occidente» (SAL. 103:12).  ¡Dios es un Dios santo, pero también es un Dios misericordioso! ¿Alguna vez te has preguntado por qué Dios no nos ha destruido aún? Si Dios lo hizo en los tiempos de Noé a causa del pecado, ¿por qué no debería hacerlo ahora cuando el pecado está alcanzando niveles tan altos? Estamos en una época en donde a lo malo llamamos bueno y viceversa. ¡Qué perspectiva!  David trata estas circunstancias de nuestro corazón y el pecado. Y hace énfasis en esas personas que lo buscan sinceramente. Por un lado, comienza recordándonos Su misericordia cuando nosotros pecamos. Pero cuidado, esto no nos da derecho a pecar indiscriminadamente. Está dando esperanza a aquellos que realmente lo buscan con sinceridad y quieren seguirlo de cerca. Bellas palabras son «no sostiene para siempre su querella ni guarda rencor eternamente» (v. 9) y «no nos trata conforme a nuestros pecados ni nos paga según nuestras maldades» (v. 10). Son palabras de esperanza para aquellos que deseamos seguirle como nuestro Señor. Dios no ejecutará Su ira, sino que muestra Su amor al perdonar nuestros pecados. Quizás en algunos momentos puedas sentir culpa por un pecado, y tu pensamiento sea «no hay nada que se pueda hacer ya». Como ya hemos dicho, Él «no nos trata conforme a nuestros pecados», pero adicionalmente lo reafirma diciendo que «engrandeció su misericordia» (v. 11, RVR1960).  Esa misericordia y esperanza se ven de forma clara a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad y también en la nuestra. La misericordia se puede definir como no recibir el castigo por algo que realmente merecemos. ¡Y Dios tiene una gran misericordia con nosotros! Si en algún momento piensas que tu pecado es imperdonable, Dios dice que Su misericordia es tan grande como la distancia entre «el cielo sobre la tierra» (v. 11). Esto significa que es una misericordia casi ilimitada. Cuando hay una verdadera reconciliación por el pecado Dios aleja el pecado completamente de nosotros («como lejos del oriente está el occidente», v. 12).  ¿Alguna vez pensaste que Dios era implacable contigo? Si lo has hecho, estos versículos nos ayudan a entender la paciencia y misericordia de Dios. Por un lado, esto nos debe ayudar a dar gracias a Dios porque es cercano a nosotros; y también nos ayuda a hacer frente a cada situación de la vida. No son nuestras habilidades las que nos hacen aceptos ante Dios, es la misericordia de Dios.  R. C. Sproul, al escribir sobre la misericordia dice: «Que yo esté respirando esta mañana es un acto de misericordia divina. Dios no me debe nada. Yo le debo todo». La misericordia de Dios, en relación con mis pecados, no es por lo que yo hago, sino porque Él ha decidido tenerla de manera amplia para que cada uno de nosotros pueda disfrutar de una relación con Dios cuando lo buscamos sinceramente.

Mariano Cohn y Gastón Duprat son directores, mientras que Andrés, hermano de Gastón, es guionista. El trío realizó películas como El hombre de al lado, El ciudadano ilustre, Mi obra maestra, Competencia oficial, y más recientemente se pasó al mundo de las series con Bellas artes, con protagónico de Óscar Martínez; Nada, con Luis Brandoni y la participación de Robert de Niro; y su gran hit, El encargado, en la que Guillermo Francella hace de un portero de edificio con grna habilidad para los negocios turbios. Varias de esas obras están influidas o directamente atravesadas por el arte, y con eso tiene bastante que ver que Andrés Duprat, que además de guionista es arquitecto y curador de arte, y que desde 2015 dirige el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Buenos Aires. ¿Cómo nutre esa experiencia su trabajo en el audiovisual? ¿Cómo hacer cercanas al público general discusiones y debates propios del mundo intelectual, como la cancelación de artistas? ¿Y cómo le caen los señalamientos, que suelen recibir en Argentina, de que sus series y películas son conservadoras o antipopulares?
