Bebe Wood from Hulu's Love, Victor talks all things season 2, her take on Venji vs. Vahim. Debating season 2's most controversial moments. Her own music, behind the scenes chess games with Michael Cimino and George Sear and the potential queer storyline her character, Lake, could have in season 2. Overall this episode is the definition of beautiful chaos.

We're checking back into Creekwood High with the crew of Love, Victor. In between seasons the show has really figured itself out because S2 is a marked improvement in both complexity and maturity.First and foremost: we're obsessed with how the Hulu show is tackling tough issues like bad allyship, unsupportive parents, racism, class, and religion. The two mom storylines hit Brenna hard, while Terry and Joe appreciate the discussion of 'masc for masc' culture and the depiction of different types of gay men (though when will we see a few queer ladies, show?!)Plus: Joe offends Brenna, praise for Ana Ortiz and Anthony Turpel's performances, the show's tendency to turn boyfriends into Prince Charming, justice for Mia/Rachel Hilson and speculation about S3.Wanna connect with the show? Our friend Bebe Wood just finished shooting part of this season of The Real O'Neals (Tuesday nights on ABC) and is back in KC for the holiday. And what else would she do than stop by the studio to co-host today's show and chat music, TV shows, the AMAs, weird family Thanksgiving stories, Stranger Things and so much more!
Monday's #TheShowKC: What was that weird stuff Truta saw in the road on the way to work this morning? Vodka?? The past few days of Trump have been, well, interesting. We work our way through "grab her in the ____" and a debate that was boring until....KEN BONE. Listeners had some tales from the trip including a guy who dated his taxi driver -- after she took him to her uncle's funeral! And then Kansas City's own BeBe Wood (Shannon O'Neal on The Real O'Neals) called in to talk about tomorrow night's Season 2 premiere (8p, ABC).
Among the birthday surprises was one of our favorite actresses; Kansas City native Bebe Wood (The Real O'Neals, The New Normal) called in to wish Truta a happy birthday. However, the best part was WHERE she was calling from: only the set of The Real O'Neals on the first day of shooting Season 2! Hello! We love Bebe and wish her the best for a good upcoming season! #TheShowKC @Bebe_wood
Actress and KC native Bebe Wood was in studio with #TheShowKC again this morning to play a celebrity edition of Gen X vs Millennial! It's 14 year old Bebe vs (ahem, cough cough) year old Shelly. Who will win this edition of pop culture trivia? Listen to find out... and check out Bebe on ABC's "The Real O'Neals" #KC @Bebe_Wood @TheRealONeals
14 year old @Bebe_Wood plays Shannon on The Real O'Neal's, which has its season finale tonight on ABC. She is also a KC Native, which made it easy to come in studio and spend the better part of an hour with #TheShowKC. Listen as Bebe talks about getting her start at an early age, her first TV appearances, and why she chose The Real O'Neal's over another opportunity!
