The All-Star break is over, and it's time for everyone in the league to get to work and maybe get some overtime. Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, Place To Be Nation's NBA-Team, are done with their own two-week break and are clocking back in to check on which teams are rising, falling, tanking, and flunking as we enter the last two months of the regular season. Are the Phoenix Suns, the most expensive roster in the NBA, already doomed by our accounts? How devastating is (or could be) for Victor Wembenyama being shut down by the Spurs after a blood clot issue? How are the Brooklyn Nets somehow winning games? Why does Riche have such a huge beef with Adam Silver after his cowardly answer about not intervening in the Luka Doncic trade? Riche and Adam also revisit their over-under win total predictions, who will win the Defensive Player of the Year award, the meaningless All-Star weekend, and more! So suit up and take it out in episode 334 with the NBA-Team!

We had the pleasure of interviewing Kayla DiVenere over Zoom video!Rising star Kayla DiVenere, the 19-year-old actress, singer-songwriter with a dedicated online following, has taken the music scene by storm with her latest single "Date Myself." The song's release marks a powerful moment of self-discovery and empowerment for the young artist. Kayla explains, "Writing “Date Myself” reminded me of how beautiful it is to spend time by yourself and how important it is to be comfortable owning your self-love and high standards. Being able to hear it back after writing it and to scream it at the top of my lungs has comforted me more than any guy has, and I hope it can comfort people too in any way they can relate to it."In "Date Myself," Kayla candidly shares her own experience with the pitfalls of dating, as she exclaims, "I kinda wanna date myself." The inspiration for the song emerged during a conversation with her mother about her tumultuous dating history. Recognizing the universality of the sentiment, Kayla transformed this heartfelt confession into an anthem for anyone navigating the often treacherous world of dating. The track encourages listeners to embrace the beauty of spending time with themselves and to unapologetically prioritize self-love and high standards.Known for her roles on hit TV shows like "Law & Order," Hulu's "Love Victor," and Hulu's "Light as a Feather," as well as feature films such as "Under the Silver Lake," Kayla DiVenere has already made a significant impact on television screens across the United States. However, her passion for music led her to explore the world of songwriting, resulting in a flourishing music career with millions of streams across all platforms, and over 200,000 followers on social media. In 2020, Kayla released her debut single, "Justin Bieber," which garnered attention for its pop melodies and sweet vocals, showcasing her ability to craft authentic and relatable lyrics. Wonderland Magazine praised the song, stating, "Known for her delicate and genuine lyricism, the singer pulls on inspiration from her own past, to create a light-hearted and fun bop."Following her debut, Kayla continued to release captivating singles, including "PSYCHOPATH" in 2021 and "Megan Fox" in 2022. "Megan Fox" stands out as a powerful exploration of the pressures and insecurities stemming from unattainable beauty standards. Kayla's unflinching honesty in the song resonates with many as she addresses the challenges of feeling inadequate in relationships while surrounded by unrealistic ideals of perfection. Her first release of 2023, "Jumping the Gun," showcases Kayla's continued growth as a versatile artist, adding depth to her expanding catalog. Kayla's latest releases have earned her a spot on some Spotify's top playlists, such as Pop Rising, New Pop Picks, Salt and All New Rock. With "Date Myself," Kayla DiVenere reaffirms her position as a rising force in the music industry, combining relatable lyrics, catchy melodies, and a powerful message of self-love and empowerment. The single is now available on all major streaming platforms, and fans can expect more exciting music and performances from this young sensation in the near future. We want to hear from you! This week on What's My Frame? I'm joined by Casting Director Josh Einsohn. Y'all are in for a treat with this conversation! If you've been listening for a while you know my goal for What's My Frame is to create a space for creatives to share, connect and learn. Josh and I were introduced by a mutual friend and I am forever grateful! Josh's heart for actors is unmatched, episodes like this are what I geek out over sharing the most! Listening to Josh talk about the actors he's worked with in his 20+ year career will give you that boost of motivation and encouragement we all need from time to time as artists. Josh's resume includes projects like LOVE VICTOR, I'M DYING UP HERE, ONE DAY AT A TIME, THE WEST WING and THIS IS US just to name a few highlights. Josh and The Telsey office were nominated twice for Artios Awards for their work on THIS IS US, CSA's highest honor. Josh and I go into detail on the exceptional casting of THIS IS US including all of the impeccable generational casting throughout the series. Josh also shares some amazing stories for how LOVE, VICTOR was cast. I've always been fascinated listening to casting directors share the process of casting and how sometimes an actor simply walks in the room and brings that character to life off the page. But as you'll hear it's still a long road of auditions and tests to ensure everyone believes that actor is the character. So excited for y'all to hear this one, let's get to the conversation! Love, Victor the follow-up series to Love, Simon (Hulu). “I was a marriage equality activist, so getting to tell a story about a young, Latinx kid who is struggling with his identity means the world to me. Working on it combined my personal life passions and my professional life goals, and I know how lucky I am to have those two intersect.” - Josh Einsohn ---- Please join us over on Instagram @whatsmyframe --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/whats-my-frame/support

It's the end of the road for Disney+ & Hulu's Love, Victor, which is sad and disappointing. Sad because Brenna, Joe and special guest Terry Mesnard still love these characters, and disappointing because this final season...isn't very good.Whether it was always designed to end here, these last eight episodes seem to forget basic plot and character beats from earlier seasons, particularly issues of class.Plus: Doing Pilar dirty, our eternal love for Felix and male friendships and discussion about Victor's "Bravery" (aka Gay) award.Joe & Terry's written coverage:-Love, Victor S3 Part 1. To celebrate and say farewell to the beloved teen dramedy Love, Victor, we are joined by three of its young stars, Anthony Turpel (‘Felix'), Isabella Ferreira (‘Pilar'), and Mateo Fernandez (‘Adrian'). The trio talks about their character's growth, share what they hope audiences take away from the series, and reminisce about what they were thinking and feeling on their first day of production. “I remember being so nervous and not knowing what to do or what to say,” Ferreira shared. Although the young actress had worked on series like Netflix's Orange Is The New Black, her role in Love, Victor was her first series regular role. “I was so scared but everyone was so sweet and kind and everyone had open arms.” Fernandez similarly was nervous, especially being the youngest member of the cast and only being 9 years at the time of his casting. “I was so scared and so shy, I didn't say a word, I'm sure you remember,” he said to Ferreira, who plays his older sister on the show. Reflecting on his character's growth throughout the series, Turpel spoke on how much Felix has gone through, starting as the goofy best friend and later having to become his mother's caretaker when her depression was at its worst. “Balancing that and school and learning to reach out for help, or even figure out what help even is. In his mind, everything was fine, and he was dealing with this for a long time. He's grown incredibly over the last three years.” Ferreira then shared that she is most looking forward to for audiences to see “the chaos that is season three but we send things off in a very good way. We really put our all and care so much about the show and just wanted to leave it off in a really peaceful manner.” Fernandez chimed in, “I'm excited to see how people react to the chaos and to the endings, especially if they have predictions for what happens after the series ends.” The third and final season of Love, Victor will be available to stream in its entirety on June 15th on Hulu and Disney+
