Our Great Coach on this episode is Guy Molloy.Guy is an Australian Basketball coach who started his professional career in 1989, coaching the Canberra Capitals in the Australian Women's National League.He then coached the Perth Breakers and was named coach of the year in 1995. During this time, he also served as an Assistant for the Australian National Team.He then coached the Cairns Taipans in the Australian Men's National League. In 2013, he returned to the Australian Women's National LeWomen'sd led the Melbourne Boomers to the championship in 2022. In 2018, he became Head Coach of the New Zealand women's National team, the Tall Ferns, leading them to the bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Alex began her professional career in 2009, for the Australian Institute of Sport. After the AIS, she was signed by her home town side, Canberra Capitals. After spending two seasons under Carrie Graf alongside the likes of Lauren Jackson, Alex then signed with the Adelaide Lightning in 2014. After a year in Adelaide, she then signed with the Dandenong Rangers for the 2015–16 season. In 2016, she was signed by Dynamo Moscow to play in the 2016–17 season of the Russian Premier League and the Eastern European Basketball Women's League. Over the years she has undergone 11 knee surgery's and now coming out of a short break she has resumed her playing career with the Capitals once again. Alex is also now the proud mother of her daughter Opel May. This was such a great chat, Alex is hands down one of my favourite guests!

Episode 130 Abby Bishop is an Australian professional basketball forward/center who plays for Virtus Bologna of the Lega Basket Femminile. In Australia, she has played for the Australian Institute of Sport from 2005–2006, the Canberra Capitals from 2006–2010, Dandenong Rangers from 2010–2011 Canberra Capitals. Now an Opals regular, Bishop returned to her native Adelaide for season 2011/12, teaming up with fellow Opals Suzy Batkovic and Jenni Screen. Another strong season booked her place on the plane to London for the 2012 Olympic Games where she would help the Opals win bronze. Bishop made the move to Europe following the Olympics, signing on to play with French team Prepignan for the 2012/13 season. A productive season in France led the way for Bishop to return to Canberra and re-join the Capitals ahead of the 2013/14 WNBL season where she earned the league MVP award in 2015. David Herbert is a former WNBL Head Coach and is currently Head Coach of the Australian Gems Under 19 womens team. David currently works with the Basketball Victoria high performance network and is Director of Pathways and Development at Basketball Geelong, and has held key development roles in Queensland and Western Australia.Growing up in country Victoria, Dave moved into coaching in his late teens and was the first Head Coach of the Townsville Fire WNBL team from 2001 to 2007. Dave was the Head Coach of the West Coast Waves women's team in Perth (2010-11) and then Assistant Coach with Head Coach Carrie Graf at the Canberra Capitals (2012-13). Dave was CEO of Cairns Basketball from 2013-14 and moved back to Geelong from 2016 as Head Coach of the SEABL Geelong Lady Supercats.In this interview, we discuss some of Dave's coaching philosophies and learnings he has had being involved with Australian youth teams at FIBA Asia-Pacific and World Cup events and WNBL teams.
