There was one positive from SU's lackluster showing in Knoxville during a 96-70 loss to Tennessee and that was Elijah Moore scoring 24 points and continuing to develop as an exciting freshman on the roster.  Oh wait. There was one more thing. Chance Westry played for three minutes! He's a real guy!  As Brent discussed on the show, it was yet another embarrassing showing for SU in a prime national television spot. Syracuse.com's Brent Axe chats live following a 87-83 win for Syracuse basketball over NC State. The Tigers moved to 3-0 on the season with a convincing victory at Neville Arena. Johni Broome led the way with 18 points and 13 rebounds, claiming his first Jungle Podcast MVP. Bryan Matthews, Brian Stultz, Caleb Jones and Jay G. Tate reconvene for a new show leading off with insight from the first four days of fall camp. Have we learned anything yet? Auburn's "recruiting operation" has been coming up empty lately. Is there a reprive on the horizon? Auburn basketball looked quite good during its first two exhibition games in Israel. Auburn continued their overseas tour with a 107-71 win over the Israel Select team in Tel Aviv. The competition was a little tougher than the last game, but Auburn's defense forced 30 turnovers and fueled another big win. Yohan Traore scored 20 points for a second straight game, while newcomers Chance Westry and Johni Broome continued to impress. Next up is the Israeli National team!
