The United States Men's Hockey team won gold for only the third time in Winter Olympics history Sunday. The 2-1 OT win caps an incredible Olympics for the US men's and women's teams. The Auburn Tigers found themselves on Joe Lunardi's NCAA Tournament cut line Saturday morning, that was one of the stories leading into their game with the Kentucky Wildcats, making it feel even more impactful. Auburn Basketball fought from behind in the second half to secure a 75-74 win and break a five game losing skid. The game was not without controversy on both sides as Kentucky Basketball was the beneficiary of two questionable fouls at the end of the first half while Auburn benefited from a call at the end of the game. It was the final call that had Mark Pope steaming after his news conference. The Alabama Crimson Tide got a 90-83 road win at LSU Saturday. Alabama Basketball had five players in double figures en route to the win. This came on the heels of Alabama being left out of the NCAA selection committee's top 16 teams. Committee co-chair Martin Newton indicated Alabama and Arkansas are just on the outside looking in. The NCAA Selection Committee released their Top 16 seeds just before Saturday's games. Only Florida and Vanderbilt were an-momma the 16, yet KenPom has the SEC still rated as the best conference in the nation. Which is more accurate? (00:00-17:09) Trying not to let the Radio Wars affect The Spread Zone. Joe Lunardi has released bracketology in honor of the start of the college football season. What are the fats mad about? People are playing video poker in Wright City. Jackson speaks jive. Spillover in airplane seating. Putting naughty magazines on airplane seats to keep strangers from sitting next to you. When's the last time you bought a magazine? Dan Janson is on the phone wanting to know if Martin went to the golf thing with Chumley.(17:17-35:04) Very existential. Wilson Contreras get the six game suspension. Hacking is not coding. Jeremy is on the phone lines and he wants to lay hosanas at Doug's feet. How old is Jeremy? Just a summer fling. What's Jackson's age ceiling for a summer fling? How old is Charlize Theron? My head was in Vermont, but my feet were in Savanna.(35:14-48:51) Smack those chops, Doug. Reports are that Texas A&M may be one of Mizzou's yearly rival games in the SEC. Audio from the ‘Locked On Arkansas' podcast taking some shots at Mizzou for being the stinky kid in class. Are we gonna get a uniform announcement today? Don't forget about Felix Jones. Trouble just finds Doug. Reports of the Big 10 expanding to 20 teams by 2030 and Notre Dame will NOT be one of those teams.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
