The weekly interviews with guests such as Wimp, Todd Fuhrman, Clay Travis, and others keep the show fresh and exciting. I first discovered them when I lived in Birmingham many years ago and caught them on WJOX. Since then, I have continued to listen to them online and love their new format since they went on their own.
One of the best aspects of The Next Round podcast is the talent, knowledge, chemistry, and ability of the hosts to not take themselves too seriously. They have created a show that sets the standard in sports radio. Their sound quality is top-notch, leaving FM radio and most other podcasts in the dirt. The ads on the show are necessary to pay the bills, but they are never overwhelming or excessive. In fact, compared to terrestrial broadcasts, it feels like there are fewer ads per hour. This allows more time for engaging content and discussions.
