The Next Round podcast is a show that I never miss on weekdays. Having listened to them for over a decade, I can confidently say that they are the poster children for doing a podcast right. The weekly interviews with guests such as Wimp, Todd Fuhrman, Clay Travis, and others keep the show fresh and exciting. I first discovered them when I lived in Birmingham many years ago and caught them on WJOX. Since then, I have continued to listen to them online and love their new format since they went on their own.
One of the best aspects of The Next Round podcast is the talent, knowledge, chemistry, and ability of the hosts to not take themselves too seriously. They have created a show that sets the standard in sports radio. Their sound quality is top-notch, leaving FM radio and most other podcasts in the dirt. The ads on the show are necessary to pay the bills, but they are never overwhelming or excessive. In fact, compared to terrestrial broadcasts, it feels like there are fewer ads per hour. This allows more time for engaging content and discussions.
On the downside, some listeners may find that The Next Round podcast has too many ads. However, this is a minor inconvenience considering how well the hosts deliver their content and keep listeners entertained. Additionally, with podcasts, it is easy to fast forward through ads if desired.
In conclusion, The Next Round podcast is without a doubt one of the best shows out there for sports fans, especially those who love football. They provide comprehensive reviews and previews of games from all angles while also incorporating robust gambling previews from LT every week. What sets this show apart is not just its sports talk but also its hilarious off-topic conversations that keep listeners entertained throughout the four-hour show. Having listened to these guys for years now, it feels like they are part of my daily life. I highly recommend diving into The Next Round podcast for an enjoyable listening experience.
