Best-selling author of "Seat of the Soul" and 36x returning guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Gary Zukav joins the podcast once more for an interview filled with insights around intention, the new consciounsess, and dealing with grief. After Gary's spiritual partner, Linda Francis returned to nonphysical reality in 2022, we reflect on the true meaning of death and how love is the most powerful force in the Universe. He explains that authentic power is the alignment of the personality with the soul, and that it requires choosing love over fear in all circumstances. Gary also explores the concept of immortality and the existence of a part of ourselves that is immortal. Founded in 1999, the Seat of the Soul Institute, envisions a world of Universal Humans who are beyond nation, race, sex, religion, culture, and economic circumstance; who are citizens of the Universe; and whose allegiance is to Life. Gary is a Harvard graduate with a degree in International Relations, a former US Army Special Forces (Green Beret) officer with Vietnam service, a member of the Club of Budapest, a recipient of the World Business Academy Pathfinder Award for his Contribution to the Ongoing Evolution of Knowledge and Consciousness within the Global Business Community, and the Einstein Award from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for his Contributions to the Psychosocial Growth of Humanity. He is a master teacher and author of four consecutive New York Times bestsellers including The Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics, Spiritual Partnership: The Journey to Authentic Power, and Universal Humans. ___________________ PODCAST CHAPTERS 0:00 - Gary Zukav Trailer 2:00 - The Importance of Human Consciousness in the Current Era 7:50 - The Knowing of Our Immortal Soul 11:11 - The Sacred Contract and Lessons of Fear 14:07 - The New Earth and the Continuity of Life 34:09 - Celebrating Linda Francis' Life and Co-Creation 41:28 - The Universe Inside Us 47:36 - Evolution of Consciousness 50:06 - The Center of the Universe 54:37 - The Dissolution of Old Structures 57:05 - Changing Yourself to Change the World 58:52 - Love vs. Fear 1:02:08 - Responsibility for Choices 1:06:52 - The Universe Within 1:10:17 - Awareness at the Moment of Death 1:12:35 - Trusting the Inner Voice 1:15:45 - Wisdom in Every Choice 1:20:29 - The Journey vs the Destination 1:27:52 - Grace and Love for Humanity 1:28:58 - Authentic Power in the Now ___________________ Guest: Gary Zukav, Seat of the Soul Institute Website | https://seatofthesoul.com/ YouTube |  @theseatofthesoul  Soul Connections Newsletter | https://seatofthesoul.com/soul-connections-newsletter/ In Celebration of Linda Francis | https://seatofthesoul.com/remember-linda-homepage/ Journey to the Soul Retreat | https://experience.seatofthesoul.com/creating-authentic-power Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/gary_zukav/ Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/GaryZukav/ Host: Emilio Ortiz Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/iamemilioortiz/ Subscribe to YouTube Channel |  @EmilioOrtiz  Watch Emilio's latest series on 4biddenknowledge TV l https://bit.ly/AwakenThe6thSense Shop Our Clothing Collection l https://www.unlockedmovement.com/collections/justtapin ___________________ Special Offerings to Support the Show: ✦ Make a One-Time or Recurring Donation on PayPal

Dr. Marcelo Garcia holds an endowed chair in Hydraulics at the University of Illinois-Urbana – where he has taught for more than thirty years, and runs the remarkable Ven Te Chow hydraulic and sediment laboratory. His award page reads like a who's-who of the Legends in our field.  These include but are not limited to:The Einstein Award, the Rouse Award, and the Yalin lifetime achievement award. And he is a Distinguished member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the an elected fellow of the American Geophysical Union. And that's all very impressive.  Dr. Garcia is - without question – one of the leading quantitative sediment scientists of his generation. But the quality that made this conversation remarkable, is Marcello's grasp and deep connection with the history of the sediment transport and river mechanics disciplines. It became clear that he sees his work in continuity with the foundational work and scientists that preceded him.  He has effortlessly describes how modern sediment transport principles or puzzles are rooted in the work and lives of our discipline's historic figures. And, well, these are some of the big themes I hoped for with this podcast. This is also why he was uniquely qualified to the 10-year project of compiling the American Society of Civil Engineers Manual of Practice on Sedimentation (110) – arguably the most comprehensive work on sediment science and engineering available. We talked about that project, how he collaborated with dozens of authors to knit together this massive compendium of sediment and river insight.  But in the process, I learned a lot, not only about some of the big ideas in our disciplines, but also the stories of the people behind them and how they became some of our big ideas. The ASCE Manual of Practice is here: https://ascelibrary.org/doi/10.1061/40856%28200%2994This series was funded by the Regional Sediment Management (RSM) program.Stanford Gibson (HEC Sediment Specialist) hosts.Mike Loretto edited the episode and wrote and performed the music.Video shorts and other bonus content are available at the podcast website (which was temporarily down but is back up now):https://www.hec.usace.army.mil/confluence/rasdocs/rastraining/latest/the-rsm-river-mechanics-podcast...but most of the supplementary videos are available on the HEC Sediment YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/user/stanfordgibson
