What a crazy honour it is to sit and talk with one of my teenage heroes, a man who embodies the warrior spirit, Enson Inoue. Enson Inoue is an MMA legend having fought in both PRIDE and the UFC against the toughest fighters in the world at their peak - fighters like Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock, Minotauro Nogueira, Igor Vovchanchyn, Mark Kerr, Heath Herring and more. Welcome to the 6th Round Retro Post-Fight Show. This is the show that digs into the archives and gives you a comprehensive review of classic MMA events, that span as far back as UFC 1. Join Eddie Mercado & Victor Rodriguez as they relive the UFC 91 PPV (pay-per-view) event this week, complete with results, analysis, and of course a few laughs. This week we feature the Nov. 15th, 2008, UFC 91 PPV: ‘Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar’ event, (last episode on a non-fight week we covered UFC Tuf 2 Finale: ‘Sanchez vs. Diaz’). This was a jam packed nine-fight card, eight of which were finishes, leaving only one Decision for the entire event. UFC 91 went down from the infamous MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event that night showcased one of the best fights of the year, when heavyweight standouts Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar battled it out for the World Heavyweight Championship, going only two of five rounds. Lesnar was still relatively new to the UFC at the time, after going 1-1 in the UFC against Frank Mir and Heath Herring, the WWE import received an unprecedented and controversial title shot against the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture. ‘The Natural’ was entering the octagon on a two-fight win streak against the giant Lesnar, having won against both Gabriel Gonzaga and Tim Sylvia prior to this event. The rest of the card was one of the best of the year, with all nine bouts shown on the PPV broadcast. In the co-main event we watched Joe Stevenson quickly succumb to ‘KenFlo’. We also got to watch the exciting Jeremy Stephens deliver the ‘Knockout of the Night’ to Rafael dos Anjos, catch Dustin Hazelett with the ‘Submission of the Night’ against Tamdan McCrory and rounding it all out our ‘FOTN’ was actually not Lesnar/Couture but a battle that went the distance between Aaron Riley and Jorge Gurgel. Let’s take a look at the card, complete with fight results (SPOILERS): Main Card: MAIN EVENT TITLE FIGHT: Brock Lesnar DEF. Randy Couture via KO/TKO-Punches at 3:07 of Rd 2 of 5, Total 8:07 - 265 lbs Co-Main: Kenny Florian DEF. Joe Stevenson via SUB-Rear-Naked Choke at 4:03 of Rd 1 - 155 lbs Dustin Hazelett DEF. It's Friday, which means another episode of "The Show" featuring Heath Herring and Jay Pagliaro is about to rock your airwaves like a Christina Aguilera Super Bowl based National Anthem.. Tonight, The Outlaws of the Airways will discuss a smorgasborg of topics. For those wanting their MMA fix, we will discuss UFC 126 and the fall out from it. Tune in to see what we think is next for Anderson Silva; plus give our breakdown on the current state of the wide open light heavyweight division. We also will continue MMA discussion by breaking down tomorrow's Strikeforce event, which will feature Fedor's return to the cage, following the first true loss of his MMA career. Will "The Last Emperor" be able to bounce back from his loss and move into Strikeforce's heavyweight tournament semi-finals; and either a date with Alistair Overeem or a second tango with Fabricio Werdum? Or, will Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva send him to his second straight loss? Also, Melvin Guillard will join us again to talk Super Bowl post-mortum... And to pay up on the bet he made with Jay Pagliaro. We'll talk all this, Egypt, and more! Tune in from 8-10 PM EST for another night of madness with The Outlaws of the Airwaves.

On the heels of last week's wild radio debut, which involved an interview with Mike Whitehead and a pier six on-air brawl involving myself and a member of the Westboro Baptist Church that you would have to heard to believe, "The Show" goes prime-time with a new time slot and day; Friday from 8-10 PM Eastern Time. This week, the festivities feature interviews with three great guests; as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ace, UFC/ Ultimate Fighter 8 finalist and UG favorite Vinny Magalhaes, UFC featherweight contender George Roop and UFC original Paul "The Polar Bear" Varelans join Heath Herring and I as guest interviews on "The Show" (until we come up with a better name, we're sticking with this one). Roop will be checking in with us just 24 hours shy of his fight against former Team Tompkins teammate and training Mark Hominick at UFC Fight Night 23. With stakes high for Hominick in this fight, we will speak with the man who will aim to make his own mark in the UFC's newest division, and spoil his former teammate's title aspirations. As for Varelans, the UFC original will be joining us to talk about what he's been up to since his MMA/NHB career ended, give us tales from how MMA USED to be and discuss and predict the NFL's conference championship games. Meanwhile Singer will join us to discuss the latest from the famous "Hardcore Gym." To listen to "The Show", tune in this Friday, live from 8 PM-10 PM EST at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/shambala-sports. You also can participate live by calling us at 646-721-9704.
