Shark Week was a few weeks ago, but that doesn't mean we can't pay homage to our favorite aquatic horror predators! Jersey Shore Shark Attack is a parody based off the MTV hit reality series, The Jersey Shore. Natives of New Jersey, we came to love the show, but seeing so many poor parodies in horror, we had low expectations for this movie. It's a good thing, they proved us wrong!Seaside Heights is renovating and looking to be better than ever for the 4th of July. However, during the construction, there appears to be a stirring in the water. The Jersey Shore is shark infested! It's up to several unlikely guidos and guidettes to put a stop to the sharks attacking Seaside Heights and killing the townspeople.Although not a great movie as it's filled with plot holes, non-sensical dialogue and character actions, this movie delivers on the comedy front! We enjoyed it so much we invited the Pokemon Internet Champion, Sauce McGavin, his fiance, Beca, and D-String from the NJ rap rock band, Green Knuckle Material, on the show to discuss and review this movie.Music Credit: Karl Casey @ White Bat Audiohttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_6hQy4elsyHhCOskZo0U5gPlease check out Sauce McGavin's YouTube channel and subscribe to the Pokemon Internet Champion!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3IX2yJRKf6huZ4aPyCByOQFollow Sauce McGavin on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/sauce_mcgavin/Special thanks to Danny "D-String" Ravenda from Green Knuckle Material for coming on the show. Joey Russo plays the scene-stealing Joe Pesci in the Jersey Boys movie and has serious comedy chops. He’s worked with two of America’s biggest film directors — Clint Eastwood and Martin Scorsese. We consider Joey a key player in modern mafia movies, and we’re here get to know him, his thoughts on comedic timing in film and discuss our projection of the future of mafia movies in our new political climate. Joey has also hit all the mainstream TV bases in the past decade — in episodes of How I Met Your Mother, iCarly and Parks & Recreation. He starred in Jersey Shore Shark Attack (with Jeremy Luke from JB AND Tony Sirico) and in “Small Shots” series now available on Amazon Prime. A’ Salud
Vinny Guadagnino "stars" in a shark attack movie set during summartime at the Jersey Shore. The idea of Vinny being ripped to shreds by an aquatic terror was too much for us to resist. Join us as we chum the waters with our spilled Ron-Ron Juice and cheer on ancient underground sharks as they terrorize Seaside Heights. Our very first Behind the Horror installment is something you can really sink your teeth into... Director Steven Spielberg made quite a splash in the film industry with Jaws. Although the novel author Pete Benchley stands by that Jaws is not based on a true story, he does pay homage to some very real shark eating frenzies from the past… Deep dive with us into some of the real life events that influenced shark culture today. We do not support shark hunting culture, just figured I should mention that….because some people be crazy. On this week's episode, Mattie Teaches us about some less well known, but completely badass female pilots from the early days of flight. And just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water Austin tells you about the 1916 shark attacks along the Jersey Shore that changed the way we look at sharks. We also spent most of last week assigning sitcom characters to Hogwarts houses. We are at that stage of cabin fever. Wash your hands.
This virus is no laughing matter, and our hearts go out to everyone who is struggling. The Guts In this installment of Off Script Jason and Joel dig deep (I mean REEEEEAL deep) as they discuss Joel’s inability to stomach the 87 minute running time of the SyFy classic, Jersey Shore Shark Attack. They also discuss the newish sci-fi film, Oblivion, and why Joel now believes CGI may, in fact, be more than a passing fad.…Read more →
