https://youtu.be/f4AzxgarUrcPart 2 of our Fall Feasts prophecy series continues with the most powerful revelation yet:The pattern of the Spring and Fall Feasts reveals the entire prophetic timeline — from Messiah's first coming to His return at the final harvest. We'll examine the parable of the Wheat and Tares (Matthew 13), the resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15, and the final harvest in Revelation 14 to show how Yahusha was planted during Passover and Unleavened Bread, and why the harvest of His people happens in the Fall Feasts — Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles.
In today's passage, we see Jesus spending time on the Mount of Olives with his inner circle of disciples. It's an intimate conversation about the future and coming difficulties, yet Jesus encourages them to see beyond the coming struggle to His return and ultimate victory. Jesus gives a series of warnings so that no one leads us astray, and we don't become alarmed when trouble comes. Instead, He calls us to stay awake, be on guard, and continue to learn and understand His Word, so that we may endure to the end.

as Jesus was preparing to go to the cross he asked Peter, James, John to come with him to pray and he asked them to watch and pray. they could not because the spirit was willing and the flesh was weak. how many times do we get distracted and not pay attention to what Jesus has called us to do and succumb to our flesh. Preparing for Christ's Return: Living Ready in the Red Zone. Are we living in the final moments before Christ's return? This powerful message explores how believers should prepare for Jesus' second coming in what appears to be 'the red zone' - that critical final stretch before eternity.Discover biblical insights about the timing of Christ's return from Matthew 24, where Jesus clearly states that only the Father knows the day and hour. Rather than trying to predict when Jesus will return, learn why our focus should be on living faithfully right now. This message addresses several crucial questions:- Who controls the timing of Christ's return?- What specific role has God assigned you in these last days?- What are the eternal consequences of how we live?- How can we practically prepare for Christ's return? You'll learn why chasing the spotlight often leads to spiritual failure, and why authentic Christianity goes far beyond wearing Christian t-shirts or displaying religious symbols. The message provides three practical disciplines that will help you grow closer to Christ and live ready: consistent prayer, regular Bible reading, and meaningful service to others. With powerful illustrations from sports and everyday life, this teaching challenges believers to move beyond merely wearing the Christian jersey to actually playing their position with excellence. The message concludes with thought-provoking questions for self-examination about your spiritual readiness.

Paul was telling the Thessalonian church that we need to be spiritually awake, for we are children of the day. We are not of the darkness or night. We are clothed with the breastplate of faith and love and our helmet is the hope of salvation. While we face the trials of life, we know that they are temporary, and our eternal reward is much greater than we can fathom. We are to encourage one another with the hope that is before us and STAY AWAKE!
Believers are not caught off guard by Christ's return. Pastor Micah preaches at King's Cross Church.
This week we looked at Mark 13:24–37, where Jesus speaks clearly about His return and the call to remain spiritually alert. Pastor Matt reminded us that Christ's second coming is certain, though its timing is unknown. As believers, we are called to live in watchful expectation—not in fear, but in faith—trusting in God's sovereign plan and enduring with hope. Stay awake, for the Lord is near.
Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Thank you for joining me today and following us throughout Project 23. If you would like to learn more about this project, click the link to discover more and partner with us. Our text today is Mark 13:32-37: “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.” — Mark 13:32-37 The final words of Jesus in this chapter are gentle. But not casual. They aren't loud commands. They're more like a whisper in the dark: “Stay awake.” He doesn't say this once—He says it three times. Not because you need more information, but because you need more awareness. Jesus doesn't tell us the day or the hour. Not because he's hiding it. But the posture of readiness is better than a countdown clock. A master has gone away. Servants have been entrusted with a task. Each one has a role. And no one knows the exact hour of return. But he is returning. And Jesus doesn't want his people found sleeping, not distracted, disinterested, or disengaged. Not lulled to sleep by comfort, busyness, or pride. He wants us awake. Alert. Tuned in. Working, watching, and ready. What does it mean to stay awake? Here are five actions: It means tending your soul. It means choosing holiness over habit. It means letting the Word sharpen you and the Spirit soften you. It means living today like it matters, because it does. It means living tomorrow like it could be your last, because it might be. Jesus isn't trying to stir anxiety. He's stirring urgency. Because when He returns—and He will return—you won't be able to hit snooze. So wake up. Get in the Word. Cut out the compromise. Live like He's near. Because He is. #StayAwake, #Mark13, #JesusIsComing ASK THIS: Why do you think Jesus repeats “stay awake” three times? What areas of your spiritual life are growing dull? What daily rhythms can help you stay alert to Jesus' return? If Jesus returned today, what would He find you doing? DO THIS: Choose one habit today that's been putting your soul to sleep—and cut it off. Replace it with something that stirs spiritual alertness. PRAY THIS: Jesus, wake me up. If I've grown numb, shake me. If I've grown lazy, correct me. I don't want to be found asleep—I want to be found faithful. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Keep Me Burning."
Jesus didn't just warn us about persecution or chaos in the last days—He warned us about deception. False teaching. Slick voices with subtle lies. Not every “Christian” voice speaks for Christ. And in this generation of information overload, discernment isn't optional—it's survival. Our springboard for today's discussion is:“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” — Matthew 24:24 (ESV)This verse should shake us. Not with fear—but with urgency.Jesus said even the elect could be led astray. That means this isn't about how smart you are or how long you've been saved. It's about how anchored you are in truth.False teaching doesn't come with a warning label. It comes with charisma, good lighting, and sometimes a massive following. It sounds almost right. But “almost” won't cut it.The enemy doesn't attack with obvious lies. He twists Scripture, distorts grace, minimizes sin, and packages everything in feel-good motivation. Here's the danger: If you don't know the Word, you'll fall for a version of it that isn't real. You'll follow a voice that sounds like Jesus but leads you away from Him.This is why we must stay awake. Test every spirit. Measure every teaching. And don't be afraid to walk away from a popular message if it doesn't line up with the full counsel of God's Word.Don't chase signs and wonders. Chase truth. Discernment isn't being suspicious—it's being Spirit-led.Question of the Day:What's one recent message or teaching you've heard that you now feel led to reexamine through Scripture?Mini Call to Action:Take 10 minutes today to read Acts 17:11. Let it remind you to be a Berean—to search the Scriptures for yourself and test every message you hear.Let's Pray:Father, keep me awake. Teach me to recognize truth from error. Let Your Word be my foundation, and Your Spirit my guide. In Jesus' name, amen.Let's Get To Work! This generation doesn't just need loud voices—it needs clear ones. Let yours be grounded in truth, unwavering in faith, and alert to every counterfeit. My Reasons To Believe is a reader-supported publication. NA'ALEH YOGA: Nidra Journeys for Deep Rest+ Close Your Eyes and Stay Awake... This episode is part of the Jewish Calendar Series and is created for the month of Av. This month focuses on rectifying the sense of hearing and invites you to descend into the healing darkness where you can listen deeply to connect with the resonance of your soul. Through practicing Yoga Nidra, you take a pause from all the sensory input channels except for sound so you can focus on the space within. This practice of Yoga Nidra guides you in the exploration of sound as you journey through the layers of consciousness from the body, breath, and mind to your deeper understanding and soul consciousness. Instead of a traditional verbal visualization, this practice contains a non-verbal sound visualization sequence to support deepest listening beyond that which words can express, while you are held in a state of relaxation. Please note that this practice may bring out unexpected emotions or memories. This is completely normal, and you are encouraged to welcome all that shows up with curiosity and compassionate witnessing. If this is not the right time for you to elicit emotions, then a milder practice may be better suited for the time being. Prepare for a transformative experience as you receive the gift of rest in the stillness of your soul. Allow your body and mind to relax deeply as you sail through sounds and silence and hear your soul's whispers. Episode Summary: Here's what you can expect: Preparation: Begin by settling into a comfortable position. Make sure you're fully supported completely at ease.
