Knowing your Enneagram number is more than a simple conversation starter. Different from other personality typing systems, it identifies your motivation rather than your behavior and is an effective tool for not only self-examination, but for understanding others. Joey Schewee of WE Solutions puts an even finer point on the concept: the Enneagram in the workplace. She talks to Inside Source about using the Enneagram in a team setting, how she handles skeptics, and what it's like working in “the family business.”
On this episode of Community Cocktails with Kimberly, I sit down with Joey Schewee, Owner of Working Enneagram Solutions. Together we discuss the different personality types and how you can use this knowledge both personally and professionally to improve your relationships.Joey's contact information:Website: https://wesolutions.life/

As an Enneagram 8 who has been a student of the Enneagram for twenty five years, Joey has seen the profound effect this tool can have on families. She and her husband, Billy, have a genuine passion for teaching the Enneagram and have used their parenting experience to create an intuitive Enneagram & Parenting curriculum for families seeking to benefit from this ancient wisdom. Whether you know your Enneagram number, or have never heard the word "Enneagram," there is knowledge and encouragement in this episode for you!
Y'all. It's happening. It's time for season 7 of AMP to come to a close. For our finale, I really wanted to sum up everything we've been talking about this season. In addition to going through all 9 numbers, finishing up with Jeanette Tapley last week on Enneagram 9s, we have spoken to experts like Suzanne Stabile on how we can treat our stress numbers since we as adoptive moms are often dealing with tough situations and trying to handle them with grace and love. We've talked to Beth McCord about how God has gifted each of us with an attribute of His own to reflect Him to the world. We talked to Joey Schewee on how we can look at our kids and families through the lens of the Enneagram, and we are wrapping it all up by chatting all about rest and how we can truly refill and recharge and get ready to go back out there and be the Warrior Moms that we are. I've been able to ask just about every guest this season how they find true rest, and I always include the caveat that I don't mean surface-level rest and self-care, but real-deal rest. Here to chat with us all about this for each number is the incredible Ryan Mayfield. Ryan sat down to tell us our core longing based on our number and how we can overcome this longing through Jesus and find that true rest that we crave...https://theadoptivemompodcast.com/blog/ryanmayfield

Now 40, married to Joey Schewee (enneagram 8), raising 2 boys and working on his doctorate at UTD, Billy shares how he utilizes what he has learned as a parent, an educator, and an administrator. Hi Friends! Today we are wrapping up part 3 of my conversation with Enneagram teacher, and fellow 8, Joey Schewee. If you haven’t already listened to parts 1 & 2 of our conversation, I encourage you to hit the pause button and go check them out. In our earlier conversations Joey walked us through the characteristics of each of the 9 numbers in the enneagram, including where each struggles and shines. Today we begin to look at the link between each number and their unique relationship to clutter. I pose the question “do certain numbers on the enneagram have a tendency to struggle more with Physical Clutter, Emotional Clutter or Calendar Clutter?” And if so, why? Unlocking this question could be a huge game changer in how we approach the process of decluttering and living a more organized life. I can’t think of a better guest to help me close out 2019! I look forward to diving deeper into this topic as we embark on a new decade. I hope this series has challenged you to look deeper into your motivations and behavior. Hi Friends! Today we are back with part 2 of my conversation with Enneagram teacher, and fellow 8, Joey Schewee. If you haven’t already listened to last week’s episode, I encourage you to hit the pause button and go check it out. Joey Schewee has been a student of the Enneagram for more than twenty years, studying under her mother, Suzanne Stabile, otherwise known as the Godmother of the Enneagram– author of The Road Back to You and The Path Between Us. Last week we spoke about the aggressive numbers, focusing quite a bit on 3’s, 8’s (since Joey & I are both 8’s and Josh is a 3). We also talked about how easy it can be to mistype numbers by looking at BEHAVIOR vs MOTIVATION. Our conversation picks up with the 7’s and then moves into the dependent (1, 2, 6) and withdrawing (4, 5, 9) stances. I hope you enjoy part 2 of my conversation with Joey as much as I did. P.S. Hi Friends! This is the moment you have all been waiting for…well, maybe it’s the moment that I’ve been waiting to share with you; my 3-part conversation with Enneagram teacher, and fellow 8, Joey Schewee. Joey Schewee has been a student of the Enneagram for more than twenty years, studying under her mother, Suzanne Stabile, otherwise known as the Godmother of the Enneagram– author of The Road Back to You and The Path Between Us. As Joey shares on the show “I have known the enneagram longer than I haven’t.” This perspective and insight flows through all aspects of life including dating, marriage, motherhood, managing employees and navigating the corporate and educational realms. If you are not familiar with the enneagram, this is a great introduction to understanding things like What is the enneagram? What do each of the 9 numbers represent? How do find out my number? If already know your number, Joey dives deeper into Triads, Stances, and Orientation to Time. There’s so much rich content that we couldn’t cover all of it in one episode! I hope you enjoy part 1 of my conversation with Joey as much as I did. xo- Laurie Please support us! SUBSCRIBE to TOL to have new episodes downloaded each week! REVIEW. You have probably heard more about Carolyn Teel from Suzanne over the years than will be in this podcast episode, but it is long overdue that you hear from Carolyn herself! Carolyn is an Enneagram 5 and Suzanne's oldest friend. You get to hear how they have made their relationship work as an extrovert 2 and an introvert 5 over the past 50 plus years. Their conversation goes back to when they had to use a microphone pointed at a record player for the drill team to perform to! Also, we hope you enjoy an intro from Joey Schewee as she talks about the gifts and love that Carolyn has shown her over the years.
Is the enneagram actually valid? Why is everyone freaking out about it? Is the enneagram a new or old thing? I don't like the enneagram because I don't want to be put in a box. These are the top questions and statements I hear about the lovely Enneagram. Why? Because everyone is SO curious about who they actually are. Even in our curiosity, we don't like to be "typed" or labeled into someone we are not. Or even worse, sometimes we don't want people to actually know about our mistakes and weaknesses. The enneagram has been vital in many individuals personal growth. This tool is a phenomenal tool (out of many) to help us become the person God created us to be. When we understand how we function in the world and that we're actually different, it changes everything. Callie brought on a TOP expert to teach and discuss the enneagram. Suzanne Stabile is a best selling author twice and is a wizard when it comes to the enneagram. Today Callie has the privdledge of interviewing Suzanne's oldest daughter, Joey Schewee. Joey is an 8 on the enneagram and is married to Billy who is a 9. In this conversation, Callie and Joey discuss the basics of the enneagram and how it can truly help someone move in the right direction in life. Check out the episode to grow yourself! This week on the Influential Motherhood podcast, I'm chatting with Joey Schewee, an Enneagram expert and teacher, and daughter of the Enneagram "master teacher" Suzanne Stabile, host of The Enneagram Journey Podcast! If you don't know anything about the Enneagram, it is an ancient personality typing test and a tremendous asset at home, at work, and in everyday life as you make decisions, approach problems, and navigate both happy and challenging times with others. Joey says it is really gaining traction in recent years because it focuses on your motivations instead of only your behavior. To learn more about your number, Joey suggests you read her mom's book with Ian Morgan Crohn, The Road Back to You, and visit Life in the Trinity Ministry to learn more about how to find your Enneagram number. In addition to teaching the Enneagram with her husband Billy, Joey is a full-time working mom - she serves as Vice President of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Alumni at John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas. Joey is the mom of two boys, and says she is an eight on the Enneagram, while her husband Billy is a nine on the Enneagram. In this episode, Joey gives us lots of practical tools about how and when to help your child determine their enneagram number, how parenting styles are affected by the Enneagram, and challenges some combinations of parent numbers and child numbers might face - and how to work through those challenges. If you're local to the Dallas, Texas area, Joey will be teaching a live session on the Enneagram and Parenting this fall, so visit Life in the Trinity Ministry to grab your spot! To learn more about other upcoming sessions and how the enneagram impacts our daily lives, follow Life in the Trinity Ministry on Instagram. For more inspiring stories of moms making a difference, visit https://www.melissaduncan.com/
In the final episode of our 3 part series on the Enneagram, we take a look at the doers. These people are action-oriented. They often rely on instinct. They experience their interior world as physical feelings. One such person, Joey Schewee, is joining us on the podcast this week to talk about this group of people - their perspectives, their challenges, and the gifts they can offer to the world. Joey has taught the Enneagram nationwide for over 10 years, giving her the experience, knowledge, and insight she brings to today’s conversation.
On this episode, this is a completion of the question and answer segment from Episode 7 with Rev. Joe Stabile and Joey Schewee. We hope you enjoy it! Please join us on http://www.theenneagramjourney.com
On this week's episode, Suzanne speaks with her husband Joe Stabile who is a 9 on the enneagram and Joey Schewee who is an 8 on the Enneagram. Joe is head of Congregational Care at Highland Park UMC in Dallas and Joey is the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at John Paul II High School in Plano, TX. We hope you enjoy this episode.
