Jon Heyman of the New York Post reported Thursday night that at least one other team is in contact with Scott Boras and Carlos Correa. Correa, still working to finalize his contract with the New York Mets, may have to make a decision in the coming days. The Twins offered 10 years and $285 million before the Mets and San Francisco Giants balked at his physical. Would they offer that contract again? Likely not without an understanding of his medicals. Matt Braun of TwinsDaily joins to discuss the latest on Correa, his offseason grade for the Twins and more! Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

Jerry returns for an update, but first it looks like Jerry has won the football picks segment for the season. Bengals' Joe Mixon doesn't like the NFL making up the rules as we go along when it comes to neutral site games. It appears the NFL already has a policy in place. Boomer said the Ravens are being a pain in the ass talking about competitive fairness. Boomer goes through playoff scenarios and neutral site games. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, but first Gio tells us how the NFL will honor Damar Hamlin this weekend. Sean McDermott talked to the media about the Damar Hamlin situation. A Cincinnati reporter asked the doctors if they felt everyone's prayers. Peyton Hillis is in ICU after saving his children from drowning. Mike LeFleur looked back and said maybe Zach Wilson should have sat his first year. The Mets and Carlos Correa still don't have a deal. Omar Minaya joins the Yankees front office. Boomer was at the Rutgers/Maryland game last night. In the final segment of the hour, Yusseff has fallen apart in the NFL picks segment. He cannot catch Jerry at this point. Hour 2: Mike White was limited in practice yesterday with a rib injury and he's supposed to start Monday. Mike LaFleur also said yesterday that Zach Wilson probably should have sat behind a veteran for a year. Gio said it is impossible now for Zach Wilson to succeed here. Jerry returns for an update and starts with a woman at the press conference asking the doctors if they felt everybody's prayers. We also heard from Sean McDermott and Josh Allen. The AFC Championship game could be played at a neutral site, probably Indianapolis. Mike LeFleur takes responsibility for the last part of the season. Omar Minaya is excited to be joining the Yankees front office. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer doesn't see any way that Mac Jones is going to get a win in Buffalo this Sunday. Of course Boomer also called him a douche face earlier in the week. Boomer wonders if the Bengals will have their ‘football edge' this week, going back on the field where the injury occurred. Locked On Giants – Daily Podcast On The San Francisco Giants
Disaster struck just before midnight. The San Francisco Giants' 13-year, $350 million deal with Carlos Correa had officially collapsed, as Jon Heyman (of all people) reported out of the blue that Correa had a deal with the New York Mets. The Giants were set to introduce Correa at a press conference yesterday at 11 AM, but they sent out an email to the press at 8:15 AM stating that "Today's Giants press conference has been postponed," with no explanation given. It was reported with very few details throughout the day that the reason for the postponement was an issue that the SF Giants had flagged with Correa's medicals during his physical in San Francisco on Monday. News of Correa's deal with the Mets—and his collapsed deal with the Giants—sent shock waves throughout the sport and crushed Giants fans. It's hard to imagine this offseason playing out any worse for the San Francisco Giants and their fans. They were supposed to land a superstar, and twice it appeared they had. Aaron Judge was reportedly headed to the Giants for about seven minutes. Carlos Correa was reportedly headed to the Giants for about seven days. Where on earth do the San Francisco Giants go from here? All of the top free agents have signed. They could make more mid-tier acquisitions, but the list of remaining names is not very attractive. The Giants could make trades, expect the problem with trades is that the cost is talent, as opposed to cold, hard cash. The Giants' failed deal with Correa will go down as one of the darkest days in SF Giants history. Only time will tell if the Giants' concerns over his medicals was warranted, and unfortunately we likely won't get too much detailed information anytime soon. One thing, however, is crystal clear: San Francisco Giants fans have been jerked around this offseason like no fanbase ever has. Giants fans deserve much, much better than this, and these wounds may never heal. Find and follow Locked On Giants on your favorite podcast platforms:
