We spend a lot of time on players who have opted out, and how this will be a common theme this year. Players can opt out any time, and according to Joel Sherman many are likely to do it as the season progresses. A player could at any point and time after hitting service time requirements or if their team is way out of it decide to end their season early. We focus in on Michael Kopech due to issues with what Don Cooper said in regards to the young arm and also just due to the fact his opt out likely has the greatest effect on the Indians of any player so.
