The three hosts (Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price) answer listener requests and run a full one quarterback startup mock draft, walking through every pick and the strategy behind it. It is a fun, format specific blueprint for anyone tired of Superflex content and ready to build a 1QB roster the right way. Listen to This Episode: Apple Podcasts Spotify YouTube With quarterback value pushed down, the crew loads up on skill players early. Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Ja'Marr Chase come off the board first, while Garret grabs Brock Bowers as his unicorn tight end and pairs him later with Christian McCaffrey for a clear win now build. Matt anchors his team with Josh Allen and CeeDee Lamb, then adds Kyle Pitts for upside. Rich plays quarterback chicken, waiting until the late rounds to land Dak Prescott and Trevor Lawrence after stacking Quinton Judkins, Colston Loveland, and Tee Higgins. The trio shows how patience at the position opens the door to receivers like Brian Thomas and Ladd McConkey who carry real trade value. Garret Price and Andrew Mott return for a Goldilocks style ADP episode, going player by player to decide whether each Superflex tight end premium price is too high, too low, or just right. The conversation is built for dynasty managers trying to find value before startup and rookie drafts heat up. Listen to This Episode: Apple Podcasts Spotify YouTube The crew opens with Malik Nabers, whose price feels just right even with a noisy offseason, and Jalen Hurts, who they argue is going too low at quarterback nine. Tucker Kraft sparks a debate about paying up for a tight end coming off an ACL injury, with both leaning toward a fair but underwhelming 2026. The back half covers Breece Hall as a steady RB2, Jordan Love as a true quarterback dead zone asset, and a string of upside receivers. Jameson Williams and Nico Collins both profile as strong WR3 options with week winning upside, while Ladd McConkey lands as a just right buy with room to climb. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price are back with the annual Dynasty Nerds cornerstone draft. This episode looks at the 2024, 2025, and 2026 rookie classes in a Superflex tight end premium format to decide which young players dynasty managers should build around. Listen to This Episode: Apple Podcasts Spotify YouTube The draft starts with Brock Bowers, Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, and Jayden Daniels as the top tier cornerstone options. The crew debates positional value, long term safety, and whether elite tight end production can outweigh the quarterback advantage in Superflex. The running back group quickly enters the conversation with Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiyah Love, and Omarion Hampton, while Malik Nabers and Tetairoa McMillan headline a receiver pool that feels thinner than past cornerstone drafts. As the draft moves deeper, names like Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren, Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate, Ladd McConkey, Cam Ward, Marvin Harrison Jr., TreVeyon Henderson, and Quinshon Judkins show how much value still exists. The Los Angeles Chargers offseason just took a WILD turn! From massive roster rumors to missing superstars, we are breaking down the three biggest storylines coming out of Bolt City this week.First, Chargers GM Joe Hortiz sat down with Kay Adams on 'Up & Adams' and dropped an absolute bombshell about the franchise legend. Is the door actually open for a Keenan Allen return? Hortiz didn't deny it, but there's a catch involving the young wide receiver room. Meanwhile, new free-agent acquisition David Njoku finally spoke to the media about why he chose LA. He sent a chilling warning to the rest of the NFL about how "destructive" this Mike McDaniel-led offense is about to be alongside Justin Herbert. Speaking of Herbert... voluntary workouts are underway, but No. 10 was noticeably absent. Should Chargers fans be worried, or is this just standard offseason procedure? Let's dive in!
Heath Cummings is joined by Theo Gremminger to break down the biggest dynasty buys and sells heading into the season. Ladd McConkey vs. Brian Thoams Jr.. DYNASTY?
The Dynasty Nerds are back with a quick hitter dynasty game: rookies vs. vets. Garret Price sits in the hot seat while Andrew Mott fires off player-for-player decisions based on current startup ADP and consensus rankings, with the NFL Draft looming as the ultimate tiebreaker. The headliners start at RB, where Garret leans Jeremiah Love over Ashton Jeanty thanks to receiving upside and projected volume, then pivots to the safe side at QB with Jordan Love over Fernando Mendoza. At WR, Garret prefers the ceiling of Carnell Tate over Ladd McConkey, but sticks with the established profile of Marvin Harrison Jr. over Makai Lemon. At TE, Kyle Pitts gets the nod over Kenyon Sadiq, and the episode closes with a classic dynasty takeaway: sometimes the pick itself is the asset. Garret takes KC Concepcion over DJ Moore, framing 1.07 as a flexible “wait for the draft” decision, not a locked-in player. Start Using the Film Room Today! We discuss what went wrong for some of the biggest busts of 2025 and what needs to go right for them in 2026. This list includes Justin Jefferson, Jayden Daniels and Saquon Barkley. First, we've got a lot of news and notes (3:45) including an update on Rashee Rice plus what the Eagles and 49ers offenses could look like ... Getting into the biggest busts of 2025, we start with Brian Thomas Jr. (13:10). The targets and efficiency were much worse. Were injuries to blame? Can he bounce back? What about Nico Collins (24:15)? Just how big of a bust was he, anyway? And Justin Jefferson (31:55) was kind of an easy one to analyze and seems like a good candidate to bounce back ... Saquon Barkley (39:00) was certainly a bust, but was it mostly because he had such a big workload in 2024? What were the other contributing factors? When should you draft him? Ladd McConkey (46:40) did not come through for Fantasy managers in 2025 and we'll tell you what we may have missed when we evaluated him a year ago. We also discuss Jayden Daniels (1:00:00) and talk about which of these six players is most likely to bounce back in 2026 ... Rich Dotson and Garret Price are back for one of their most popular yearly shows: the real value of rookie draft picks. With the Combine running and rookie drafts right around the corner, they break down where picks actually hit, where they turn into roster cloggers, and why “not worth a first” is meaningless unless you say which first. Garret lays out the scoring tiers they track to define outcomes. A “hit” requires at least one Tier 1 season, or multiple Tier 2 seasons, with thresholds adjusted by position. Quarterbacks need top six seasons to count as Tier 1, running backs and wide receivers need top 12, and tight ends need top three. The point is simple: if a player never reaches at least Tier 2, that pick never truly helped your starting lineup. After adding the 2024 class to the spreadsheet, they call out early hits already logged, including Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers, Drake Maye, Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey, Brian Thomas Jr., and Bo Nix, while noting plenty of names still need time to prove it. The biggest takeaway is the stability at the very top. Since 2018, the 1.01 has a 100% hit rate in their sample, and top four picks hit about three quarters of the time, with even more value when you include “mid” outcomes. After that, the first round becomes far less differentiated, and they point out an odd recent trend where 1.09 to 1.12 has slightly better results than 1.05 to 1.08. They dig into a possible reason: quarterbacks often get pushed into that 1.05 to 1.08 range in Superflex, and non-elite rookie quarterbacks are harder to “hit” by their definition. The broader lesson stays the same. Outside the top tier, it often makes sense to trade down, tier up into a proven veteran, or move picks into stronger future classes. They hammer the second round value drop. Once you get into the 2.01 to 2.12 range, the hit rate collapses, and third round picks become true dart throws. Their advice for contenders is aggressive: if you can turn a first into multiple years of a proven producer, that is usually the winning bet because many late firsts never become lineup players. Garret also tests a theory about late rookie drafts. If you trade late seconds and thirds for multiple fourths and fifths, the position most likely to return value is running back. Late-round running backs can become “ships to shore” quickly when injuries hit, and that short window can still flip into future seconds. They add that tight ends are often pushed down by the community chasing wide receivers, which can create value pockets in the late second and early third. The data behind “hits” and why the top mattersWhat the hit rates say about trading picksWhy second round picks are the “Ponzi scheme”Late draft strategy: load up on running backs and tight ends. 00:00 Start 00:30 Why Rookie Picks Are Often Overvalued 03:23 Hit/Mid/Miss Definitions 10:42 Top Picks Hit Rates 16:21 Mid/Late Firsts & Second/Third Round Drop-Off 27:43 Trade Firsts for Proven Assets & Late-Round Targets 37:27 FFPC 38:46 2026 Rookie Class Outlook Start Using the Film Room Today! Adam and Jamey break down their latest mock draft to identify the players the market is getting right — and the biggest values and overreactions so far. We dive into names like Tee Higgins, Ladd McConkey, Garrett Wilson, Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, Rome Odunze and more to determine who is undervalued, who is being drafted too aggressively, and where early ADP doesn't match projection. Using real mock draft results, we analyze current trends, draft strategy implications, and how to exploit market inefficiencies before they correct. Start Using the Film Room Today! Garret Price and Andrew Mott played Keep Trade Cut with players at similar ADP levels, revealing their strategies for navigating the dynasty trade market. The duo debated quarterbacks Bo Nix, Trevor Lawrence, and Brock Purdy, with Andrew keeping Nix for his rushing upside while Garret stuck with Purdy's consistency. The running back debates featured Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton, and TreVeyon Henderson, with both hosts high on Jeanty despite his difficult rookie situation. Andrew emphasized Jeanty's elite underlying metrics, noting he had the most stuffed runs in the NFL behind one of the worst offensive lines. At wide receiver, Ladd McConkey emerged as the consensus keep over Brian Thomas Jr. and Marvin Harrison Jr., with Mike McDaniel's arrival in Los Angeles boosting confidence in the Chargers offense. The tight end discussion centered on Harold Fannin Jr., Tucker Kraft, and Sam LaPorta, with situational concerns dominating the conversation. The hosts wrapped up with younger running backs, debating Kyle Monangai, Woody Marks, and Bhayshul Tuten, highlighting how Houston's running back market could impact dynasty values. Buy These 2024 Players Instead of Spending Picks on 2026 Rookies Jagger May and Andrew Mott break down why dynasty managers should target undervalued vet players instead of chasing 2026 rookies. With the 2026 class lacking depth, buying low on players offers better value for contending teams looking to maximize their rosters. Marvin Harrison Jr. tops the buy list after a disappointing rookie season hampered by injuries and poor offensive coordination. With Drew Petzing gone and a potential offensive overhaul in Arizona, Harrison could be acquired for a fourth or fifth round startup pick. Brian Thomas Jr., Rome Odunze, and Ladd McConkey all offer bounce back potential, with McConkey especially appealing after Greg Roman's firing in Los Angeles opens up the passing game. Zay Flowers quietly delivered consistency despite limited touchdown equity, while Woody Marks presents running back value despite a struggling Texans offense. The hosts even highlight veteran quarterback Jared Goff and breakout tight end Kyle Pitts as targets now that Kevin Stefanski is coaching the Falcons. Start Using the Film Room Today! Rich Dotson and Matt O'Hara dive into third year players poised for fantasy football success or decline in 2026. With the Chargers firing Greg Roman and committing to protect Justin Herbert, Ladd McConkey emerges as a prime bounce back candidate after finishing as wide receiver 23 in 2025. The hosts debate whether McConkey can return to his rookie form when he posted 82 catches and 1,149 yards. Ben Sinnott gets the spotlight as a potential third year breakout with Zach Ertz likely gone from Washington. Sinnott outperformed John Bates in routes run and air yards when Ertz went down, making him a worthy third round pick gamble. On the breakdown side, Xavier Worthy and Trey Benson face uphill battles with unclear roles and injury concerns limiting their dynasty value heading into year three. Start Using the Film Room Today!
