At night, they gathered as students at Nashville's top software development bootcamp, lighting a path with an excitement for coding and a desire to help others. My “real” name is actually Mark but I adopted the nickname of Marcus when I “fell into the light” after a horrendous car accident in 1968. I was in a coma for 10 days and “crossed over to the other side”. That was my first experience of truly “Going Beyond the Box” and I guess you could say I was pretty “normal” until that day.  There are many names for this “falling into the light” experience but rather than try to label it I will just say it really changes your perspective!  There are a lot of us “NDE” (Near Death Experiencers) coming out of the closet these days and I believe our stories can help people lighten up and go beyond the box before we blow each other up!
