Everything is up for debate today. Almost everyone has a split opinion when it comes to agreeing on a topic or issues. Many opinions are very un-popular, so let's get into my un-popular opinion about things going on in our world. Let's talk about it! Thank you to all my listeners for your support. Without you my podcast would reach as many people as it has. Let the discussion begin Smooches
That definitely stings for me. If I'm honest, I'm much more knowledgeable about my spouse and my friends than I am about Jesus. What about you? Are you spending quality time with Jesus by reading His word and praying to Him? Today, Pastor Ken teaches that in a world that has so many wrong opinions about God, we as Christians need to have a correct understanding of who He is. The only way we can do that is by knowing Him through the Bible and prayer. Take time today to know God more.
When you see the world today, you often wonder what's going on. Nations war against each other, poverty and injustice are widespread, and the rich and powerful seem to get away with anything. While it might seem like utter chaos, Pastor Ken teaches that God is still very much in control and actively working. He doesn't ignore what's happening, but He is working to redeem the broken people and situations of this world for His glory. He is also working actively and intimately in your life for your good!
Our kingdom and God's kingdom are always in conflict. Just like the builders of the Tower of Babel, we too want to make a name for ourselves. We strive for control and security. Throughout history, we've seen this on a larger scale, with the rise of kingdoms, nations, and empires fighting for wealth and power. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that ultimately, God is the one who is in control, and His kingdom will be victorious. Today, choose to lay down your crown and submit to His authority.

As a younger professional I worked with a senior project manager who would tell me to always look at the pros and cons of whatever is involved in the design of a project. Today, I still look at that and sometimes it can help me determine if a client is a good fit or not. I also offer my opinions of made up deadlines for designing for the environment that is a sure sign of an groups or individuals pushing an agenda rather than an idea that is beneficial to all.

The truly healthiest way to eat is to eat whatever you want, whenever you want, even as much as you want. I'd even argue that despite what diets, “healthy eating plans” and really the whole health and wellness industry as a whole need you to believe, it's the only way to actually eat healthy. In this (and the last) episode, I'm talking about the science of nutrition (the last episode), explaining why I say eating what you want is the healthiest way to eat and exactly what I mean (and don't mean) by it (this episode). Before you decide I'm nuts, give these two a listen.

In this episode, J. Stephen Morrison speaks with Jacob Poushter, an expert in international survey research at Pew Research Center, about Pew's recent report “People in Advanced Economies Say Their Society Is More Divided Than Before Pandemic.” Jacob explains the main findings of the report and discusses how public perceptions of societal division within advanced economies have changed over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. How are publics in Japan, Sweden, the UK, and other countries perceiving and reacting to their governments' responses to the pandemic? How do attitudes about the pandemic's impact break down along generational and demographic lines? What does the new research show about global support for U.S. leadership in international affairs and engagement with the World Health Organization (WHO)? Jacob Poushter is Associate Director of Global Attitudes Research at Pew Research Center. You can also find a follow on live conversation hosted by GHPC's Katherine E.
