Naysayers and fake news spreaders abound in this final hour as even the former treasury secretary takes lisping swings at Trump's tariff plans. The President's top economic advisors celebrate the success America is already seeing, shortly before Nvidia makes a half-trillion dollar announcement that vaporizes the left's lies. Karmelo Anthony gets house arrest after killing another teen by stabbing him in the heart. Make it make sense.

Not everyone will understand your cash-based practice. That's okay.In this episode, we're talking about how to handle the naysayers, critics, and confused looks that come with running a cash-based pelvic health practice.Whether it's a skeptical practitioner, a price-sensitive patient, or your uncle who still doesn't really get what you do—we want you feeling confident in the model you've chosen. We break it down by type:✅ Other practitioners – How to market and explain what you do in a way that's funny, honest, and real, without being defensive or weird about money.✅ Patients – Giving them everything they need to make an informed choice and respecting that you're not the right fit for everyone. That's a good thing.✅ Friends & family – Real talk: they have no idea what we do. Love them. But don't let their opinions shake your confidence. You don't need everyone to get it. You just need to own your decision and know your value.

Hey friend! You've heard the phrases: "Home is where the heart is." "There's no place like home." "Home is a feeling." TRUE...all of that. But home has a backdrop, a landscape to the heart and home definitely has a feeling. How you feel about your home is shrouded in every memory - those that provoke laughter or tears. If you don't like the backdrop to those memories: frustration, overwhelm, disarray, disorganization, chaos, clutter...as the illustrator of your home's canvas - YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE IT! Simply put...home matters. It should be: * a respite at the end of a long day * a shelter from the literal and figurative storms * a comfort when returning from long times away * an invitation to relax and restore * a place for you to feel inspired and delighted * a scared space for all the memories that make up the landscape of your legacy So...how do you feel about your home? How are you treating it? Are you ready to take action and turn it into a place where you delight? Does the four-percent rule actually work? On paper, yes. So why don't more people put it to the test? Today's guest retired at forty-seven years old and is living proof that the math really does check out. Stay tuned to find out how! Welcome back to the BiggerPockets Money podcast! Bobby Beck has done what so many in the FIRE community are seemingly unable to do—he actually retired on the four-percent rule! What's more? He did it while living in the Bay Area, one of the most expensive markets in the US. What gave him the confidence to leave his job and never look back? While “One More Year Syndrome” keeps many people from retiring early, Bobby's mantra of “take a year” compelled him to take a leap of faith. Even though his retirement portfolio took a sixteen-percent hit right before he retired, he weathered the storm, and sure enough, the market rebounded! Now, Bobby lives the life people dream of when they discover FIRE. He has a comfy lifestyle, travels multiple times a year, and only checks his portfolio once a month. If you need the motivation to call time on your career and put your retirement date on the calendar, you don't want to miss this episode! In This Episode We Cover How Bobby and his wife retired on the four-percent rule (at age 47!) Why the FIRE community overestimates how much they'll owe in taxes How to beat “One More Year Syndrome” and actually retire early Growing your brokerage accounts and cash to avoid the middle-class trap The portfolio allocation that will give you the confidence to retire And So Much More! You have big dreams. You know where you want to be. But somehow, the gap between where you are now and where you want to go feels massive. Progress seems slow—sometimes painfully so. Life throws obstacles in your way, and before you know it, doubt creeps in. Naysayers whisper that you'll never make it. Maybe you've even thought about quitting. The truth is, most people give up not because they're incapable but because they don't have a clear, strategic approach. They expect a straight path, but success is full of twists, turns, and setbacks. The key? Taking the right first step and staying committed even when things don't go as planned. So, how do you cut the difference down? What if you could shorten the time between where you are now and the life you dream of? In this episode, I talk about the important steps to take when it comes to erasing the distance between where you are and where your goals and dreams are. I also comment on the importance of focus and eliminating distractions. Things You'll Learn In This Episode -The power of a great mentor. A mentor provides guidance, experience, and support to accelerate growth and success. How can having the right mentor help close the gap between you and your dreams? -The universal secret Belief in your dreams is the first step to achieving them. How does belief influence your ability to succeed? -Why daily visualization is key Daily visualization reinforces your goals, keeping you focused and motivated. How can making visualization a daily habit improve your progress? About Your Host From pro-snowboarder to money mogul, Chris Naugle has dedicated his life to being America's #1 Money Mentor. Stumbling on Happiness, Daniel Gilbert, pg. 124 There is always a nay sayer in the crowd. I once heard a joke that said if you are ever lost, pull out a deck of cards and play solitaire - because it wont take long before you will put a card down and someone will lean over your shoulder and say “I wouldn't have used that card there”. Three reasons you need Nay Sayers in your life. - They will help you clarify and intensify your reasons and choices. They really do you a favor by causing you to dig into your beliefs and do a gut check. Many times give you an advantage to look over your motives and goals and gain even more invaluable insight. You become even more skilled at what you are attempting to do. J.K. Rowling: Before becoming a global phenomenon, Rowling's manuscript for "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was rejected by twelve publishers. The rejections fueled her determination and forced her to refine her writing, ultimately leading to the creation of one of the most successful book series of all time… that small little series called Harry Potter, sold over 600 million copies… not to mention the royalties on movies, cartoons, toys and products like cereal and clothing… - They will help you build a thick skin. One of the biggest problems in todays world is the noise… the noise of the crowd. You can't escape it… but given enough time and enough resolve you learn to become deaf to it. You not only just disregard it, but you become deaf to it. I have many times had my wife, friends even antagonists ask me “doesn't it bother you what they are saying”? I honestly can look at them and say… I didn't notice it. The deafness and silence it creates actually becomes the fuel to your motivation and to your drive…. Because you can't hear them anymore you gain greater focus. Maybe you have heard of the term flow? Its when seemingly the world stops, time stands still and you hear nothing… athletes speak of this all the time. Its a beautiful skill gained by learning how to block out the noise of the Nay Sayers. - They prove you are moving forward and not backward. If you want to know if you are moving in the right direction, check the crowd. Typically if more people think your goals are ludicrous you are on your way… if most people agree with your goals they are probably to easy, to unfaltering… they won't change you, they are not worth your time and effort. Look there will always be some people who like what you are trying to do, the majority will be silent for many reasons, but the loudest voices will be the Nay Sayers… thats a good sign… keep pushing on. - Here is a bonus thought. The best way to hone your instincts and your judgement and critical eye is constantly having people call you out…. REMEMBER Haters produce creators.

In this message, Executive Pastor Jevon Washington challenges us to break down barriers and become true neighbors in a world that often prioritizes division over compassion. Through the powerful parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37, alongside passages from Romans 13:8-10 and Galatians 6:2, we explore what it means to extend grace, love, and empathy across boundaries that might otherwise keep us apart. Renowned Christian philosopher and theologian Dr. Paul Copan joins us to explore our shared values and address the ethical questions people are faced with when reading the Bible. He discusses how modern readers often overlook the Torah's revolutionary impact by viewing it solely through a contemporary lens, which strips it of historical context. Together, we examine the Mosaic laws in contrast to other ancient laws, like the Code of Hammurabi, revealing just how transformative the Torah was within its pagan surroundings. Dr. Copan shares his approach to interpreting morally challenging passages, applying a “charitability and Golden Rule” perspective that uncovers the depths in the Torah's narratives. Dr. Copan provides a nuanced understanding focused on careful textual analysis. He highlights the Bible's distinct stance on slavery, distinguishing it from the brutal chattel slavery of later times and showing how Judeo-Christian values contributed to its eventual abolition. Naysayers and skeptics are challenged to rethink their preconceived notions about the Torah, especially regarding topics like divine justice, slavery, capital punishment, the Wayward Son, the Sotah ritual, and other often misunderstood sections. What are we to make of what appears to be God's call to wipe out Canaanites and Amalekites? How do we understand the massive loss of life decreed by God in the Great Flood and the death of the Egyptian first-born? This is a discussion you don't want to miss. --- • Bio: Paul Copan (Ph.D., Philosophy, Marquette University) is a Christian theologian, analytic philosopher, apologist, and author. He is currently a professor at the Palm Beach Atlantic University (Florida) and holds the endowed Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics. He is coeditor of The Routledge Companion to Philosophy of Religion, The Naturalness of Theistic Belief, Philosophy of Religion: Classic and Contemporary Issues, and The Kalām Cosmological Argument (a two-volume anthology). He is coauthor of Creation out of Nothing and Biblical Ethics: Walking in the Way of Wisdom. He has also contributed essays to over 60 books, both scholarly and popular, and he has authored a number of articles in professional journals. In 2017 and 2024, he has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford (Wycliffe Hall and Oriel College). For six years, he served as president of the Evangelical Philosophical Society. Naysayers can get in the way and keep us down and the key is to believe in yourself. Sometimes you surprise yourself. The sky is not the limit. 2. We do make assessments about what we wear and what others wear. It can reflect what we think about ourselves. We need people to believe we are capable. Naysayers are usually people not as successful as us and our cheerleaders usually are. 3. You'll find you need help so it's important to find mentors who know more than us. We need to own who you are, the good and the bad, and acknowledge how far we've come. Also important is to avoid comparing yourself to others, only compare yourself to where you want to be and where you are. In today's digital age, there's a powerful, often overlooked tool that can transform your real estate business—YouTube. By creating content that resonates with audiences, you can establish yourself as an authority, attract clients, and grow your business—all while spending time and effort, not money. How do we overcome the doubt and uncertainty that comes with going the non-traditional route? What is the importance of laser-focus when it comes to businesses being built on and around YouTube? In the first half of today's show, we discuss the many Black conservatives that help shape the identity of the right, far right, and MAGA movements in this country. We explain how their input provides cover for White supremacist values and ideals, as well as provide a degree of deniability for folks who are hard-pressed to challenge their own biases and racist beliefs. We also discuss what incentivizes Black conservatives beyond simply espousing “traditional values.” In the second part of the show, we discuss an online pamphlet that has gone viral entitled “Things You N***** Should Know Before You Vote” which is a great starting point for challenging a good amount of the disinformation that is circulating online and in political conversations across the country. Our Way Black History Fact highlights the events leading up to the Watts Riots of 1965.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
