Delving Into the Sexual RevolutionIn this lively chat, I had the pleasure of interviewing Sam Feldman, the very engaging and funny author of 'Hookups, Hiccups and Happenstances.' We delved into the juicy bits of the sexual revolution, shared a few personal tales about intimacy, and had a good old chinwag about why communication is absolutely vital for keeping long-term relationships ticking along.Sam shared some cracking insights from his own life, including how health can sometimes be a bit of a party pooper when it comes to sexuality, and the sheer joy of date nights. He cheekily reminded us that age is just a number—definitely not a barrier to having a right good time in the bedroom or beyond!Takeaways:* The sexual revolution brought significant changes in women's empowerment (both good & bad)!* Personal experiences shape the narratives in erotic literature.* Health challenges can impact sexual intimacy but can be adapted to.* Ethical non-monogamy was practiced before the term existed.* Date nights can enhance connection and intimacy in relationships - no matter what your age!Chapters00:00 The Sexual Revolution: A Historical Perspective06:03 Personal Experiences and Ethical Non-Monogamy12:08 Maintaining Intimacy in Long-Term Relationships17:50 Adapting to Change: Health and Sexuality24:05 The Importance of Communication and ConnectionSex Advice for Seniors is a reader-supported publication. A little goes a long way.Hookups, Hiccups, and Happenstances is a collection of erotic short stories that capture the spirit of the era when attitudes toward sex were being redefined. Set in the wild, libertine world of the 60s and 70s, Sam's stories follow the character of Butch, a man admired by both men and women for his unapologetic embrace of sexual freedom. The book explores encounters that celebrate human desire, autonomy, and mutual pleasure, offering a refreshing and boundary-pushing perspective on relationships. You can buy it here.Find Sam on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@sam.l.feldman Get full access to Sex Advice for Seniors at www.sexadviceforseniors.com/subscribe
Send us a Text Message.June Dixon and Sam Feldman are new guests to the podcasting world, and we are very fortunate enough to host them here on Boundless Body Radio for the very first time! June and Sam were recently involved in a study done by one of our favorite guests, Nicole Laurent, who has been helping them on their healing journey. We have hosted Nicole several times on our podcast, on episodes 248, 343, 438, and 538 on Boundless Body Radio! Sam Feldman was diagnosed with Bipolar Type I in college and suffered debilitating symptoms until last year, and June Dixon was his main support person during his illness. Sam has had numerous bipolar episodes, some resulting in hospitalization, and his illness has damaged his interpersonal relationships and has made it impossible to work full-time, in spite of the fact that he's intelligent and well educated. In 2023, after deciding that he wanted to lose weight, his medical doctor recommended a book recommending avoiding sugar, flour, and ultra-processed foods. Today, Sam's story is a very hopeful message for those with a long-term diagnosis or a family history of mental illness!June and Sam don't have any social media platforms to share, so....Find Nicole Laurent at-https://mentalhealthketo.com/IG- @mentalhealthketoTW- @KetoCounselorYT- @nicolelaurentLMHCFB- @thatketocounselorFREE E-BOOK!Find Boundless Body at- myboundlessbody.com Book a session with us here!

In this episode, I sat down to talk with Ken Levy and Sam Feldman, two of the founders of The National Widowers Organization. Having each lost their wives, both Sam and Ken struggled to find a place where widowers (and men in general) were allowed to be vulnerable and open about their feelings, leading to them stepping up to help others while helping themselves. Check out the National Widowers Organization here!

Sam Feldman is an internet entrepreneur. Like many, he is fascinated by crypto. His recent, comprehensive Cryptoguide on Binance caught the attention of Changpeng Zhao himself. We analyze last week's ep with Binance's CSO, talk about the opportunities and threats to Binance dominance, and get Sam's take on cryptocurrency in general. Plus a recent incident in Sweden that shows some of the new problems caused using cryptocurrency as money.
RIP Nipsey. This week on the show Gavin and B Black welcome comedian and youtube creator Black Goat 666 (Sam Feldman) to the show to talk about freedom of speech. We also review the movie The Green Mile, then close out the episode talking about rapper activist Nipsey Hussle.

Last week, Andrew shared his favourite interview of 2018, which was his conversation with Canadian music industry icon Sam Feldman. This week, it's Mike's turn, and he chose to revisit his discussion with rock and roll historian Rob Bowman from the Nov. 21, 2018 episode. Rob Bowman is the envy of every music journalist in the world. He got his start interviewing the likes of Frank Zappa and Pink Floyd when he was still a high school student in Toronto and, since then, his Grammy-winning career as one of the most respected music journalists and historians in the business has seen him interview just about everyone under the sun, in addition to being a music scholar at York University. In this interview, Rob recalls how he got his start interviewing rock stars when he was just 15, how he’s able to get folks like Mick Jagger and Lou Reed to sit down for the longest interviews of their careers, challenging Robbie Robertson on The Band’s history, criticisms of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (for which Rob writes the program and conducts the archival interviews with every inductee), the biggest “pinch-me” moments of his career, and much more.
Andrew and Mike look back on 2018 and share some of their favourite music, industry highlights, and more. Then, we revisit one of our favourite interviews of the year: Andrew's chat with Canadian music industry icon Sam Feldman. Sam is one of the best-known and most respected figures in the Canadian music industry, thanks in large part to his work with the companies - The Feldman Agency and Macklam Feldman Management - bearing his name. Over the years, he's played an active role in the careers of artists like Sarah McLachlan, James Taylor, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, and many more. In this wide-ranging interview, he weighs in with his thoughts on the health of the live music business, how artist development has changed over the years, what it takes to make a mark in the industry in this day and age, and a lot more. Courteous and candid, he stresses that the music industry has long been susceptible to change and remains optimistic about the business and its potential for the time being.

30 minutes with Sam Feldman, the founder of Men's Bereavement Network - a national Men's Bereavement Group.Men grieve differently. That is what drove Sam Feldman to create an organization to fill the void after his wife of 53 years, Gretchen, lost her year-long battle with cancer. Finding himself reluctant to share his innermost feelings of sadness in mixed gender bereavement groups, and discovering many other widowers feel the same, he started a men-only group where he lives six months a year. When he further researched, he found that there is a paucity of men's groups focusing on bereavement and, drawing on his many years as an entrepreneur, established the Men's Bereavement Network, with a strong board of directors including Dr. George Cohn, a noted psychiatrist who served on the Board of Directors for America's first Hospice in New Haven, Connecticut.
