You can read it though, just a summary of the banger of a video you're watching.Welcome to your crash course on the SCP Foundation, a clandestine organization tasked with securing, containing, and protecting anomalies beyond human comprehension. In this orientation, we'll break down the Foundation's labyrinthine procedures, secret containment sites, and the bizarre cast of eldritch horrors, helpful blobs, infinite furniture stores, and towering oceanic eels lurking in the shadows. From the early days on internet forums to its evolution into a sprawling Wiki of cosmic-scale apocalypses, weird cognitohazards, and dark comedy, the SCP Universe offers endless rabbit holes to explore. We'll begin by covering the SCP format itself—those clinical containment logs and redacted data that heighten the tension. Then we'll dive into the Foundation's internal hierarchy: from hapless D-Class “volunteers” and veteran Level-2 researchers to the shadowy O5 Council. You'll learn how anomalies are categorized—Safe, Euclid, Keter, and beyond—and discover some of the most iconic examples, like the unstoppable Shy Guy (SCP-096), the lethal Hard-to-Destroy Reptile (SCP-682), the heartwarming Tickle Monster (SCP-999), the mind-bending Infinite IKEA (SCP-3008), and the horrifying Flesh That Hates (SCP-610). We'll discuss how the Foundation deploys Mobile Task Forces, distributes amnestics, and occasionally weaponizes anomalies themselves (looking at you, Thaumiel Class). In addition, we'll delve into overarching threats, including the ominous Scarlet King, who may (or may not) herald the end of everything. Finally, we'll crack open a few fan-favorite stories, highlight the comedic side with joke SCPs, and mention the bizarre corners of the Wiki—like 3,000+ images of a certain fur-favorite entity. Whether you're brand-new to the SCP fandom or someone who just discovered the horrifying brilliance of Procedure 110-Montauk, this orientation is your perfect primer on what makes the SCP Foundation such a vast, chilling, and darkly entertaining phenomenon. Prepare to step into a world where a “friendly gelatin blob” might be the last bastion of sanity in a cosmos of unstoppable beasts, and remember—Knowledge is a privilege… but it can also kill.———TAGSSCP Foundation, Secure Contain Protect, SCP orientation, SCP Wiki, eldritch horror, cosmic horror, SCP 096 Shy Guy, SCP 999 Tickle Monster, SCP 682 Hard-to-Destroy Reptile, SCP 610 The Flesh That Hates, SCP 1981 Ronald Reagan, Infinite IKEA SCP 3008, Scarlet King, containment procedures, O5 Council, D-Class, cognitohazards, memetic hazards, anomalous objects, Keter-class SCP, Euclid-class SCP, Safe-class SCP, Thaumiel, dark fiction, creepypasta, internet horror, horror stories, science fiction, patreon support, bonus episodes, fandom exploration, storytelling.————————————Opinions expressed in this video are solely those of Isyander & Koda and in no way reflect the views or opinions of Games Workshop Ltd.Artwork throughout this video is used for educational purposes. if you see your artwork and would like an art credit, message me.Support the show

Episode 137 of the Check Your Six Podcast brought Seminole County Public Schools into GRP Studios. We have done quite a bit of work with SCPS from a video standpoint but this time I had the pleasure of having Kristin Thole in the studio. She is one of the facilitators for the CTE Business Partnership Programs that they have at SCPS and some of the things that it offers. She explained about what the CTE Programs are all about, how they can tie in with the business's in Seminole, the recent spring Expo that they had showcasing the businesses looking might be looking for summer interns for their business. There are a lot of people and businesses that work with SCPS in a variety of ways to help promote their business but to also help grow the students that are coming through the school system. People like Sean Esler with Edge Consulting, Tony Boni with Be The Change Today Foundation, Debbie Rodriguez with iBuild, Michael Janerio with Gizmo Productions and Jennifer Englert with The Orlando Law Group are just some of the people that continue to pour into providing help and resources that allow for the best potential for students!! The ability for a student to graduate from one of the Seminole County Public Schools with an AA degree already completed is amazing and just another example of what if available to our kids!! You can check out more of what Kirstin was talking about here. https://www.scps.k12.fl.us/cms/one.aspx?portalId=1854109&pageId=2057984

Summary In this conversation, Glow Worm and Jamison discuss the recent scandal with Helldivers and their love for the SCP Foundation. They express frustration with PlayStation's requirement to sign into a PSN account and compare it to Microsoft's similar requirement for Minecraft. They also mention the negative reviews and the potential cape that Helldivers may create in response. They then delve into their favorite SCPs, including SCP-049 (the Plague Doctor) and SCP-001 (When Day Breaks). They discuss the characteristics and abilities of these SCPs and express their fascination with the SCP Foundation. They also touch on astronomical topics such as the sun's lifecycle and the formation of the solar system. The conversation explores various topics related to the creation and future of the universe. They discuss the formation of galaxies and solar systems, the lifespan of stars, the age of life on Earth, and the potential future events such as asteroid impacts and volcanic eruptions. They also touch on theoretical science, including quantum mechanics and dark matter. The conversation ends with a humorous discussion about the possibility of becoming theoretical scientists themselves. Takeaways PlayStation's requirement for signing into a PSN account for Helldivers caused frustration among players. Glow Worm and Jamison express their love for the SCP Foundation and discuss their favorite SCPs. They discuss the characteristics and abilities of SCP-049 (the Plague Doctor) and SCP-001 (When Day Breaks). They also touch on astronomical topics such as the sun's lifecycle and the formation of the solar system. The formation of galaxies and solar systems is believed to occur when a cloud collapses due to a shockwave from an exploding star. Our sun is estimated to have a lifespan of about five billion years, and it is currently halfway through its lifetime. Life on Earth has been around for billions of years, starting with simple organisms and evolving into complex life forms. The future of the universe includes events such as asteroid impacts, volcanic eruptions, and the eventual collapse of the universe into a black hole era. Theoretical science, such as quantum mechanics and the study of dark matter, is fascinating but may not have immediate practical applications. Today, we're welcoming Plaguepjp back, because we're not done talking about the wonders of the 8000 contest. So many incredible articles were dropped for this contest, and we can't move on without discussing more of them. In this episode we each picked an article from the top 20 of the contest, and we discuss our own as well, so it's a deep dive into our head spaces in writing these articles and writing in general. Fair warning, it gets pretty heavy. ------- Please check out Grigori's completed series of SCPs and tales: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/hecatoncheires-cycle-hub Grigori's Author Page: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/grigori-karpin-s-author-page Harry's Author Page: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/this-page-intentionally-left-blankPlague's Author Page: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/plaguepjp Our Discord - https://discord.gg/4PxXeDURrg Articles discussed: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8002 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8787 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8320 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8000 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8888 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8140 -------------------- Follow the show on Twitter:@simcreatFollow Grigori on Twitter: @grigorikarpin (same username on IG and TikTok!)Follow Harry on Twitter: @HarryBlankSCP Support us at: Grigori's ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/grigorikarpinauthor/postsHarry's Ko-FI: https://ko-fi.com/harryblankOr at the Show Page: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/simply-creative-people Harry's Book is now available!
