This sesh I'm smoking Slurri Crasher from Tantalus Labs, at 20.73% THC with 0.05% CBD (indica). Spinach, Wedding Cake at a whopping 31.1%THC. I'M also trying out Redecan Reign Drops. 15ml bottle at 15mg CBD and 0.7%THC. This is the first time I found a nug with 30% or more THC from a dispo. It was fair price and it definitly gets you high. If you are new to smoking this will be alot. if you're a veteran, you'll probably find it a mid. it waz a really fun ride and it did last a long time. like a good 4 hrs. The CBD drops were because I found out I'm old. Playing basketball with a 10 yr old every day has me a little stiff. For me it works really well for recovery and relxation. don't expect to get high though. Also best practice is to drop it under your tongue. Hope you enjoy the Sesh! This sesh I'm smoking on Slurri Crasher an indica by Tantalus Labs. It comes in at 20.73% THC with 0.05% CBD. Also, I've got a little sativa. Lemon Haze from Daily Special and it comes in at 20% THC. I think cancel culture is a lack of self esteem. I haven't smoked in a couple days and I think this one went a little left. I railed on cancel culture and the Chappelle situation. I didn't mean too it just kind of happened. I'm not so sure I made any kind of sense or a real point, but I definitely said stuff! I did manage to get some "Weed Facts" in though and a couple "Dude for real?" tidbits as well. The result of a bong hit and a sense of humor. "You can't get stoned and be an accountant. You make too many mistakes, you lose people millions of dollars. You get fired." - Alex For our monthly media episode, the usual viewer poll was skipped and an executive decision was made to watch Grandma's Boy. Cam had never seen it, and a couple of 2nd place finishes on the poll led us to decide to cover it this month. This popular stoner flick from 2006 brings the world of video games and cannabis together, two things many weed smokers love. While not the strongest offering from the Happy Madison crew, there's lots to laugh at in this comedic farce, and we had fun revisiting our favourite beats. The review segment this week is a bit of a departure, as we decided to have a Hash Off. Mood Ring, TGOD, Tantalus Labs, and 48North all get some attention on the table. Park your ears on the virtual couch and join the sesh!

It was a pleasure to speak with Tantalus Labs CEO and Founder Dan Sutton this week. He has a great back story, is crushing it in BC and doesn't take himself too seriously. We also dove into terpenes and Dan revealed the lineage of Serratus!!! Chris Ianson and I discussed Mango from Canaca, a nice sweet treat. Joints and joint nicknames were discussed in this episode. This week, we are joined by Dan Sutton, CEO at Tantalus Labs, Canada. Tantalus Labs was founded on a commitment to advancing the frontier of cannabis. They are a team of scientists, designers, and engineers committed to a bright, Sungrown reality, cultivating world-class BC cannabis in specialized, purpose-built greenhouses.Together, we explore Tantalus' unique approach to growing cannabis, the benefits of growing indoors, and the lifecycle of the cannabis plant. ⠀ EPISODE SUMMARYTantalus Labs are Cannabis producers and cultivators located in Vancouver, BC and are leading a cultural revolution in sustainable cannabis cultivation. They use the naturally occurring conditions found in beautiful BC to create an enhanced growing environment while reducing the negative impact on the planet's resources.Dan fell into the Cannabis business after working within economics, finance and energy for nearly a decade after he discovered opportunities within the Cannabis market in Canada. Dan produces virtually pesticide free, legal, medical grade Cannabis. Tantalus Labs have specifically engineered an indoor environment for growing Cannabis which has been named ‘SunLab'. It is the culmination of four years of design and construction. It leverages the minds of leading BC scientists, engineers, and agriculturalists, all on a mission to build a brighter future for cannabis. It was created at the intersection of optimized plant health and sustainable cultivation. SunLab was designed to reduce the environmental impact of cannabis cultivation, which largely and historically relies on artificial light to provide the inputs for photosynthesis. SunLab uses natural full-spectrum sunlight as its main light source, reducing electricity requirements by up to 90% compared to traditional indoor growing. It is a truly revolutionary production method. Once recreational cannabis was legalised in Canada, the same growing principles and quality assurance principles which were established for the pharmaceutical market were applied to crops grown for the emerging recreation market, meaning both markets are now being served with elite, quality products. Tantalus produce Cannabis plants through propagation or ‘cloning' where nodes or cuttings from a mother plant are taken and grown, making them genetically identical. The advantage of this method of reproduction is that the plant chemistry, including the CBD and THC content, other terpenes and flavonoids which give the plant its flavours and aromas are identical, meaning widespread quality assurance.Plants from cuttings are grown within a vegetative state (The period of growth between germination and flowering) and can grow up to 9ft within the SunLab due to the carefully managed growing conditions. At the end of the vegetative state, the conditions are changed so that the plant perceives it to be the end of the growing season, and it will naturally flower. This means that within the greenhouse environment, four or five harvests per year are possible instead of just one which would be possible with outdoor cannabis production. The flowering phase is when the plant will start to develop its buds and its flowers which exhibit trichomes which are the fine growths which collect on the buds and sometimes the leaves. Trichomes are often referred to as ‘sticky', and hold the THC and CBD compounds.
