 Would you like to have more success in business, better relationships, vibrant health, and much more? Lisa continues the conversation today with master teacher and author Marie Diamond, who says all this and more is possible through the ancient art of Feng Shui. Marie explains that this a Chinese artform of arranging things in your house and office to enhance favorable aspects of your life.  Feng Shui was originally devised as a method to use for increased health and longevity. If you are not feeling well, you can sit facing your Health direction energy center. Point your head toward that direction. This can help to increase Chi. You can use healing symbols such as fresh fruits or vegetables. A favorite healing crystal can also be used. Symbols are essentially used to connect with the quantum field. Marie explains that mirrors in the bedroom connect with the mirror neurons in our brains. We are essentially “doubling” the energy. For example, if you are single and want a relationship, it's not a good idea to have mirrors in the bedroom. If you have them and cannot remove them, Marie suggests covering them over. She also talks about spikey plants and how they can create upset or anger. Smooth, round plants may help you to feel more peaceful. She discusses setting up altars and how they may be placed in the Wisdom direction. Any representation of Goddesses or the Universe will be helpful. In your Romance center, you can focus on the love of your partner. Candles and double-hearts can work well. If you want to improve relationships with children or others in your home, you can place symbols in the living area. She discusses how to stage an office for the most success. For example, if you are the leader, you need to be the farthest away from the door. In the Success corner, you'll want to place things like symbols of money. If you were to place an actual dollar bill, that just means you will get a small tip. You can write a check to the Universe.  Put it in a gold frame. The more gold you have in your Success area, the more you will attract recognition and good luck. She also talks about your Personal number which is calculated into a whole system she developed. Marie talks about her free app and how to determine your personal directions.  Marie also discusses Vastu Shastra from India and the differences between that style and Feng Shui. She explains that you can use both methods together. What's an easy way to start? Marie suggests decluttering your space. Determine what you want to get rid of and donate it if possible.  Begin with your Success corner and become aware of what is there in that area. Think about how the outside is a reflection of the inside. Your mood will shift, and you can begin to move forward more easily. Things will become more effortless. She also talks about how she got into the movie “The Secret” and how she developed her vision board. She placed images of an Oscar in her Success corner. Just a few years later, she met the director of the film who asked her to be in it. That was her very first interview ever.  After that, she began adding more Oscars in her Success area and has since developed a roster of clients which includes celebrities and film directors, many of whom have won Oscars themselves. Ten days after buying multiple Oscar statues, she found herself doing Feng Shui for Steven Spielberg. Marie advises us to create a vision board divided like a compass. She suggests always placing a photo of yourself in the middle. She invites us to not only include photos and images, but to include words and phrases as well. According to our guest today, master teacher and author Marie Diamond, this is all possible through the ancient art of Feng Shui. This is a Chinese artform of arranging things in your house and office to enhance favorable aspects of your life. Marie is an energy master and Law of Attraction expert who has developed her method known as Diamond Feng Shui. Her new book is called “Feng Shui Your Life: A Beginner's Guide to Using Your Home to Attract the Life of Your Dreams.” Marie talks about how she is originally from Belgium and at the age of 15, she had an accident and near-death experience. She studied meditation and had an early mentor who explained that these things could have happened to her because she had bad Feng Shui in her bedroom. Her mentor advised her to change a few things and her life dramatically changed quickly for the better. Her relationship with her father greatly improved and she made wonderful new friends. Although she went on to get a law degree, she decided to study Feng Shui seriously. Feng Shui is based on directions and elements. The method focuses on energy and its flow around you and your space. The greater the flow, the more advantageous your prospects in business, love, health, family, success, wisdom, and more. Each person also has a personal number which can help you find your elements and directions. These can help in four areas including Success, Health, Relationships, and Wisdom. This is essentially connecting you to the quantum field. Marie teaches a personal system which includes the 5 elements and explains how you may also have an “empty” direction. You want to activate these directions. You can do this by placing photos and objects such crystals, candles, mirrors, etc. in certain directions based on your personal number. This is similar to the principles of acupuncture in the way that energy flows. Marie has been working with clients for more than 30 years. She was also in the movie “The Secret” and is an expert in manifestation. If you utilize the Law of Attraction, or practice intentions and affirmations, you can still hit a ceiling. Feng Shui can help. For example, if you change just a few things, you can increase your abundance. She talks about not just making a vision board but placing it in your Success direction. Vision boards are great to create once a year. You can look at the directions, colors, and symbols foundational in Feng Shui. You can base it on your birthday, as well as the Chinese New Year. Setting intentions and goals are the first steps. Your home can help you to continue your manifestation process.
