Having died to their old lives and been raised with Christ, they are called to cast off sinful behaviors like immorality, anger, and slander. Instead, they should clothe themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Forgiveness is key, just as Jesus forgave them. Above all virtues, love binds everything together in perfect unity. Paul emphasizes letting Christ's peace rule in their hearts and encourages believers to be thankful. The message of Christ should dwell richly among them, expressed through teaching, wisdom, and songs of praise. In all they do, they are to act in the name of the Lord Jesus. Lastly, Paul addresses family dynamics, encouraging wives, husbands, and children to embody Christ's presence within the home. If we are raised in Christ, we must flee old habits that no longer define us in Him, like sexual sin or bitterness toward others. In our daily lives, we should actively choose purity of heart, compassion, and forgiveness, even when it is hard. When tensions rise at home, work, or with friends, we must remember to let Christ's peace guide our responses. Love must be the foundation of everything we do, being featured in our family. In every situation, whether speaking, working, or serving, we are called to do it all in Jesus' name with thankfulness. True transformation is about growing into the image of Christ—reflecting His character and honoring Him in every relationship, every decision, and every moment.   Loving Father, thank You for raising us to new life in Christ. Help us to set our hearts on things above and to let go of anything that pulls us away from You. Clothe us with character traits that emulate Christ. Empower us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and let Your peace rule in our hearts. May love guide all we do, and may the message of Christ dwell richly within us, especially in our marriage and homes. Whatever we say or do today, let it be in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to You always.  Thought Questions: What helps you keep seeking things above and set your mind on heavenly things? How is this more than morning prayer and bible study? In what way is love the perfect bond of unity? What helps you show patience, compassion, and forgiveness for those who wrong you? “It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.” Why is this mindset vital in the home, with marriages and relationships between parents and children?

In this episode of Amen Podcast, we dive deep into one of Scripture's most debated passages about Jesus's second coming. We explore Matthew 24:29-31, where Jesus describes the sun being darkened, the moon losing its light, and stars falling from heaven. What did Jesus really mean by these cosmic signs? Are they literal or symbolic? We examine the Old Testament connections to similar language used in Isaiah and Ezekiel when describing the fall of nations, and discover how Jesus uses this apocalyptic imagery to describe both the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD and His ultimate return. We discuss the three key characteristics of Christ's second coming - it will be unmistakable, universal, and unstoppable - and why this truth should give Christians hope, remind us of our eternal home, and provide help in difficult times. Rather than constantly looking for subtle signs, we explore how believers should live ready every day, focusing on sharing the gospel with compassion and truth. The episode concludes with practical application questions about living faithfully while anticipating Christ's return, emphasizing our call to be others-focused rather than comfortable in our faith.Support this ministry at amenpodcast.com This is a public episode. He provides rich historical context, detailing the governmental and political events that led to the crucifixion. Please embrace it as your own and share it with your friends. This new version of For the Strength of Youth is subtitled A Guide for Making Choices. To be very clear, the best guide you can possibly have for making choices is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the strength of youth. So the purpose of For the Strength of Youth is to point you to Him. It teaches you eternal truths of His restored gospel—truths about who you are, who He is, and what you can accomplish with His strength. It teaches you how to make righteous choices based on those eternal truths.13 It's also important to know what For the Strength of Youth does not do. It doesn't make decisions for you. It doesn't give you a “yes” or “no” about every choice you might ever face. For the Strength of Youth focuses on the foundation for your choices. It focuses on values, principles, and doctrine instead of every specific behavior. The Lord, through His prophets, has always been guiding us in that direction. He is pleading with us to “increase [our] spiritual capacity to receive revelation.”14 He is inviting us to “hear Him.”15 He is calling us to follow Him in higher and holier ways.16 And we are learning in a similar way every week in Come, Follow Me.   American Conservative University Podcast (ACU) is not an official representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Preaching from Psalm 119:9-16, Dr. Youssef declares that nothing but full submission to Scripture will cleanse, control, and correct the believer's life. He warns against worldly advice and shallow spiritual shortcuts, affirming that the only path to lasting joy and purity is by treasuring and applying the Word of God. With clarity and urgency, he calls every follower of Christ—young or old—to prove the Truth of Scripture daily, rejecting sin and standing firm in God's presence through obedience and faith.

Romans 7:4 — The truth that all Christians are united with Christ changes everything. It is no overstatement to say that the doctrine of Christians' union with Christ is one the most important truths for anyone to understand. It is this glorious doctrine that Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones expounds in this sermon on Romans 7:4 titled “Union With Christ: Its Nature.” Looking at the apostle Paul's epistle to the Romans, he shows that those who believe in the gospel have been delivered from sin and darkness once and for all. While all are born in Adam, all who believe are born supernaturally into Christ Jesus. It means that the law of sin and death no longer reigns in the Christian, and that they are now part of God's family and now forgiven from all sin. They are safe in salvation as Christ is loving and powerful. This doctrine is the ultimate hope against all depression, sorrow, and loneliness because it teaches that Christians have a great friend in Jesus. Listeners are encouraged to ask: “do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe that He has died for sinners? Do you have assurance that God loves?” There is great hope to all who have truly forsaken themselves and put their trust in Jesus.

But he also talks about the great love that God has for us in embracing the Cross for our sake and what it means for us today. A very powerful reflection. Everyone worships something. Whether it's success, relationships, comfort, control, or even our own opinions, there's always something fighting for first place in our hearts. That's what the Bible calls idolatry—not just statues and shrines but anything we fear, love, or trust in more than God. Today's message looks at how idols promise fulfillment but leave us empty and how only Jesus can truly satisfy our hearts.

Read OnlineStanding by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. John 19:25Our Blessed Mother, the Mother of the Son of God, loved her Son with a perfect love. She enfleshed every virtue to perfection. Her love for her Son was a love that was beyond what we could ever imagine. She conceived Him miraculously, bore Him in her womb, gave birth to Him, nursed Him, raised Him and loved Him throughout His life. It's difficult to even imagine the depth and beauty of the love she had for Jesus. Generally speaking, a mother's love is powerful, unwavering, deep and filled with tenderness. Try to imagine the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary and the amazing depth of love alive in her heart.Imagine also the scene depicted in the Gospel passage quoted above. This loving mother stood at the foot of the Cross, gazing upon her crucified Son, continuing to exude every motherly virtue. And because it's hard to fathom the depth of her love for her Son, it's also very hard to imagine the depth of sorrow and interior suffering she endured as she watched the cruelty toward Jesus unfold. All she could do in that moment was stand by Him and with Him in this moment of extreme agony. Her love was expressed, in that moment, by her fidelity to Him.What's beautiful to know is that love, sorrow, compassion and suffering were united as one within her Immaculate Heart. Within the beauty of her heart was every human emotion, fueled by God's grace, enabling her to give to her Son the greatest gift she had: her motherhood. She was a true mother throughout her life, and, in this moment, as her Son hung on the Cross, her motherhood culminated in a perfect human expression. We all long to be loved by another. To give and receive love is the greatest gift that we can give and receive. Love is what we were made for and is the source of our fulfillment in life. We can be certain that as Mother Mary stood at the foot of the Cross, her human heart experienced the greatest fulfillment ever known. Her heart was fulfilled because she exercised her motherly love to perfection.Gaze upon the image of the Mother of God this day. Ponder, especially, all that she would have experienced within her human heart. Though theologians could write volumes on this meditation, the best way to understand her heart of love is through prayerful meditation. Ask our Blessed Mother to reveal her heart to you today. Find some time to sit in silent adoration of this holy image of perfect motherly love. As you do, know two things. First, know that Mother Mary has this same depth of love for you. Do not doubt it. Her heart burns with compassion as she gazes upon you, even in your sin. Second, know that our Blessed Mother's love must also fill your heart and overflow into the lives of others. We all must allow her compassion, concern, fidelity and mercy to flow through our hearts. Who do you need to love with the heart of our Blessed Mother? Seek to receive the love in the heart of the Mother of God and seek to give that love. Receive it in and then allow it to flow forth. There is truly nothing in this world more beautiful and awe inspiring than the holy image of this love. My Immaculate and Sorrowful Mother, you stood at the foot of the Cross of your Son with the perfection of a mother's love. Your heart was filled with a sorrow that was mixed with every holy virtue. Pray for me that I may understand this love more fully, so that I may also open up my own heart to your love. As I do, I pray that I will become an instrument of the love in your heart toward those in my life who suffer and are in most need of tender compassion and mercy. Sorrowful Heart of Mary, pray for us. Jesus, I trust in You.Daderot, Public domain, via Wikimedia CommonsSource of content: catholic-daily-reflections.comCopyright © 2025 My Catholic Life! Inc. 802 There Will Be One Fold, and One Shepherd, A Guided Christian Meditation on John 10:16-18 with the Recenter With Christ app The purpose of this podcast is to help you find more peace in  and connect with the true source of peace, Jesus Christ.  Outline: Relaxation, Reading, Meditation, Prayer, Contemplation and Visualization.  You can sit comfortably and uninterrupted for about 20 minutes. You should hopefully not be driving or anything tense or unrelaxing.  If you feel comfortable to do so, I invite you to close your eyes.   Guided Relaxation / Guided Meditation:   Breathe and direct your thoughts to connecting with God. Let your stomach be a balloon inflate,  deflate. Scripture for Meditation KJV 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. ESV 16 I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down on my own. I have power to lay it down, and power to take it up again. This command I have received from my Father.” Reflection on Scripture: In a world filled with so much conflict and warring theologies, philosophies and ideologies, it is crucial to remember that Jesus declared there is one fold of God. There is only one Shepherd. He gathers His sheep. If there is any message that is needed by the world it is the words of Jesus. The world becomes more challenging as more people abandon what Jesus said, and turn their trust to other things to form their personal ethics. In the absence of the word of God as the direction humans are left to cling to whatever floating driftwood of values they find in society. Many people grasp to ideas they hear and allow those ideas to form how they see themselves. Earthly ideologies replace heavenly theologies. The truth is though that there is one Shepherd that decides what your identity is. The perspective of the world does not change that. The philosophies of the world cannot provide a better foundation for how people should exist with each other than to know we are all the same sheep. We are all lost without our Shepherd. That Shepherd is master of life and death. Jesus descended from Heaven to gather his flock. He taught powerful truths about how to live and what He expects of us. He taught us how to trust and how to seek God's spirit. He chose to lay down His own life in the great culmination of His earthly ministry. He gave His life. He laid it down. Nobody could take it from Him. God allowed for the people to crucify Him. God allows for people to make evil choices but never stops calling for people to leave their sin. He sent his Apostles into all the world to preach the gospel because there are other sheep yet we are all to be part of one flock and all this was God's plan from the beginning. You are meant to be united with all God's children. Our highest priority should be to live the way Jesus would have us live, even when we exist in the world. Do not allow the sin of the world to discourage you. God will be victorious. God's purposes will be worked even through the incorrect choices we all make on earth. Trust in the Lord and he will lead you to His heart. Meditation of Prayer: Pray as directed by the Spirit. Dedicate these moments to the patient waiting, when you feel ready ask God for understanding you desire from Him. Meditation of God and His Glory / Hesychasm: I invite you to sit in silence feeling patient for your own faults and trials. Summarize what insights you have gained during this meditation and meditate and visualize positive change in your life: This is a listener funded podcast at patreon.com/christianmeditationpodcast Final Question: If you consider the invitation and command to persevere in the faith, what change in your life does that bring to your mind?  FIND ME ON: Download my free app: Recenter with Christ Website - ChristianMeditationPodcast.com Voicemail - (602) 888-3795 Email: jared@christianmeditationpodcast.com Apple Podcasts - Christian Meditation Podcast Facebook.com/christianmeditationpodcast Youtube.com/christianmeditaitonpodcast Twitter - @ChristianMedPod

Money promises safety but can't deliver peace. In this episode, discover how Jesus reframes provision, why daily trust matters, and how identity-level recalibration anchors lasting rest. Why does money never feel like enough — even when the numbers add up?This week on The Recalibration, we've explored money, scarcity, and trust through the lens of identity. Today, we end where all provision begins: with Jesus Christ. From the feeding of thousands with loaves and fish, to turning water into wine, to manna in the wilderness, Scripture shows us that God provides — not in stockpiles, but in daily trust. And in the Lord's Prayer, Jesus anchors us again: “Give us this day our daily bread.”If you've listened all week, you know the stories: entrepreneurs, philanthropists, faith giants, even modern financial experts. Each one revealed the same truth: money may buy relief, but it cannot bring lasting peace. And that's because provision is never just about resources. It's about alignment. Through the lens of ILR, provision isn't ultimately financial — it's about identity, belonging, and redemption. Anchored vertically in Christ, the nervous system can finally rest, freed not just from personal fear but even from inherited scarcity patterns that echo through generations. In this episode, you'll discover:Why money can't secure peace or belongingHow miracles of Jesus reframe provision as presence, not stockpilesHow epigenetics shows inherited scarcity patterns — and how recalibration breaks themWhy daily trust is the pathway to freedom from fearHow ILR is the tool that makes every other tool effective, including financial strategiesToday's Micro Recalibration:“If I believed Jesus was enough — not just for my needs, but for my wholeness — how would my life look different today?”If you've been carrying the weight of money fear, hear this: you don't have to carry it alone. Jesus isn't just the One who gives provision — He is the provision. And when identity is anchored in Him, peace becomes possible. If this episode gave you language you've been missing, please rate and review the show so more high-capacity humans can find it. Dr Clark continues the series on the Lord's Supper, Nourish and Sustain. This series explores what the Supper is, why it was instituted, how it has been understood in the history of the church, what Scripture says, how we should understand it, and practice it. The Lord's Supper is one of the two sacraments instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ. A sacrament is a sign and seal of Holy Spirit-given benefits. Where baptism is the sign and seal of initiation into Christ-confessing covenant community, the Lord's Supper is the sign and seal of renewal and personal appropriation of the benefits promised in the covenant of grace. Tragically, since the mid-ninth century at least, holy communion, which is intended to bring Christ's people together, has often been a source of division. Perhaps worse, however, for much of the last one hundred fifty years, the Supper has been much neglected among evangelicals. In this episode, Dr. Clark discusses the practice of intinction; that is, the administration of the sacrament of Communion by dipping bread in wine and giving both together to the communicant. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible, where together we journey through the pages of Scripture. In today's episode, host Hunter invites us to reflect on September 14th's readings from Ezekiel 36–37, Psalm 110, and Revelation 19. As we listen, we are drawn into vivid images of restoration, hope, and the powerful promises of God—a valley of dry bones brought back to life, a unified people, and a vision of the one who is the Resurrection and the Life. Hunter reminds us that, even in times of adversity and doubt, God's purpose remains: to reveal His true nature as a loving and powerful King who brings life where there was once only death and despair. Through prayer and thoughtful reflection, this episode encourages us to see ourselves and our world through God's eyes—understanding that what He offers us in Christ is a gift of new life, hope, and joy, not because we earned it, but because of His immeasurable love. Settle in as we draw encouragement from Scripture, join in heartfelt prayers, and remember together that we are deeply loved by God. TODAY'S DEVOTION: TODAY'S DEVOTION: People have the wrong impression about God. And God is going to correct that. When people see the suffering and hardship of God's people, they have the mistaken impression that God isn't good or that he's not powerful enough to help them when they really need it. They're wrong about that. They have the wrong impression. But God's going to help us all see, like he helped Ezekiel see. It's a vision in a valley of dry, dismembered, dead, lifeless bones, skeletons littering the valley. God desires to correct our wrong impression by impressing us with this amazing vision. For at his word, God resurrects these bones into living, breathing bodies. He restores them to life. And God is clear that it's not because they deserve it, but because he wants them and us to have the right impression of him. He wants us and the whole world to know what he's truly like. He's like David, Ezekiel tells us, a good shepherd and a loving and powerful king. But he's far better than David. It's important that we have the right impression. He is the one who was raised from the dead. He is the one who offers all of us dead, lifeless people resurrection, life. When we look at him, we get the right impression. We understand fully what God is truly like. We see what God is offering us through his Son. He offers us life, hope, joy, love—the life we've always wanted, a life we didn't earn, but one that we have received. This is what can happen if we get the right impression. May God impress you today with who he is and who you have become. He is the resurrection and the life, and this is what he has done. He has resurrected and given life to the dead. First Corinthians 15 says, "For as in Adam, all die, even so, in Christ all shall be made alive." God has breathed life into the sons and daughters of Adam. This is God's vision. This is what God was up to in Christ. This is what he has finished and completed. This is the impression God wants us to see and understand. And it's all a gift from the God of love. May God open our eyes to see him, what he's done, and what we have become. That's the prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife and my daughters and my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.   Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.   And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ.  Amen.  OUR WEBSITE: www.dailyradiobible.com We are reading through the New Living Translation.   Leave us a voicemail HERE: https://www.speakpipe.com/dailyradiobible Subscribe to us at YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Dailyradiobible/featured OTHER PODCASTS: Listen with Apple Podcast DAILY BIBLE FOR KIDS DAILY PSALMS DAILY PROVERBS DAILY LECTIONARY DAILY CHRONOLOGICAL

He unpacks how difficult and disorienting these seasons can be, but reminds us that through the Lord's wisdom and guidance, we don't have to stay there. Drawing from Romans 12:1–2, Chuck challenges us to reject the patterns of this world and renew our minds through biblical thinking — because true transformation doesn't come from culture, but from Christ. When life feels stuck, God is still at work. As Psalm 40:2 says, “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Tune in and be encouraged to lean on the Lord, renew your mind, and keep moving forward in faith.
