The Get Out The House! podcast is a must-listen for horror movie enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Hosted by Ash Diggs, Zannie and Nick, this podcast brings together a perfect blend of knowledge, humor, and fresh perspectives on horror movies. Whether you're a die-hard horror nerd or just dipping your toes into the genre, this podcast is equally enjoyable for all.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the dynamic between the hosts. Ash, as a self-proclaimed horror nerd, brings her extensive knowledge and passion to every episode. It's delightful to hear Nick and Zannie experience horror movies for the first time, approaching them with logic that often gets lost in dedicated horror fans over time. Their fresh perspective adds an exciting element to each discussion.

In addition to their humorous banter and insightful commentary on horror films, The Get Out The House! podcast also takes the important step of addressing race and representation in cinema. Horror movies have often fallen short in these areas, and it's refreshing to hear the hosts bring these discussions to the forefront. This added layer of analysis elevates the podcast beyond just entertainment and provides a critical lens through which to view these movies.

While there aren't many negatives about this podcast, some listeners may find the episodes slightly long. Clocking in at over an hour per episode, it can be a bit overwhelming for those who prefer shorter podcasts. However, considering the engaging nature of the discussions and the chemistry between the hosts, it's easy to overlook this minor drawback.

In conclusion, The Get Out The House! podcast is an absolute gem for horror movie lovers. With its mix of humor, insightfulness, and discussions on race and representation in cinema, it offers something unique within its genre. The chemistry between hosts is infectious, making listeners feel like they're part of their hilarious conversations. Whether you're a seasoned horror fan or someone looking to explore the genre further, this podcast is a must-listen.

Not all that glitters is gold, this is what the GOTHs learned discussing 1984's A Nightmare on Elm Street. This movie is a classic, but in our opinion, maybe moreso because of what it got going than this film itself necessarily. The effects and performances are grade A but...well, we'll talk about it. We'll cover everything you need to know and also of course talk about Freddy and his Looney Tune antics. ***Content Warning! As is it a major part of the story, the topic of Sexual Assault is BRIEFLY mentioned on this podcast but not dwelled upon. You don't need three guys opinions on that aspect of this, many more educated and brilliant people have written about that. Feel free to skip through that part of our pod if needed***
