Mike Frighetto and Mike Sullivan
The I Used To Watch This? podcast is a delightful trip down memory lane for anyone who grew up in the 70s and 80s. Hosted by two Mikes, the show explores the TV shows that influenced their childhood with plenty of humor and nostalgia. As someone from a slightly different era, I greatly appreciate the sensation of going back to my own childhood through media exploration, and this podcast does an excellent job of capturing that experience.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the chemistry between the hosts. The two Mikes have amazing rapport and their banter adds a layer of entertainment to each episode. They create a great atmosphere for listeners to enjoy all the nostalgia feels and it's clear that they genuinely have a good time discussing their favorite childhood shows. Their humorous takes on these old TV gems make for an enjoyable listening experience filled with lots and lots of giggles.
Another great aspect of this podcast is its ability to shine a light on both well-known classics and obscure gems from the past. Whether you're familiar with all the shows or just discovering them for the first time, there's something for everyone here. The hosts do an excellent job providing informative reviews and conversations on these shows, making it easy to follow along even if you haven't watched them before. It's a great way to learn about TV history or indulge in some nostalgic reminiscing.
While there aren't many negative aspects to this podcast, one possible downside is that it may not appeal to those who didn't grow up watching TV in the 70s and 80s. The focus on shows from this specific era may limit its audience to those who have a personal connection or interest in that time period. However, for fans of retro television or anyone looking for a fresh take on beloved classics, this podcast delivers in spades.
In conclusion, The I Used To Watch This? podcast is a must-listen for anyone who wants to relive the TV shows of their youth or discover hidden gems from the past. The chemistry between the hosts, the informative reviews, and the overall nostalgic atmosphere make for an entertaining and enjoyable experience. Whether you're a fan of 70s and 80s television or simply love all things retro, this podcast is definitely worth subscribing to.
240-Robert is a lot like "CHiPs" except it is along the coast and deals with water and cliff based emergencies. You have two guys who are buds and help people, but you also have a helicopter and a pilot to add to the mix. It was surprising to us this show didn't make it. Check it out!

Then, to top it off, the wheelchair gang ends up getting in a chase with the father and they all crash CHiPs style. It's a wild ride!

Also know as, Bridge Across Time, is a TV movie about Jack the Ripper somehow traveling through time to 1985 Arizona. Specifically, to the London Bridge that was moved from London to Arizona. See, it all makes perfect sense. This movie stars David Hasselhoff, Stepfanie Kramer, Randolph Mantooth and Adrienne Barbeau, so a very big named cast. The Hoff is a cop who moved from Chicago, we hear about that a lot, and he is the only one who can figure out these murders that are happening in London Village area.
