Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday, May 18, 2024!Reese is in the studio with  Guest Producer Lou Balascio this week, discussing yet another reason why "Joe Biden has got to go!"  This week we're talking about the the crisis of Illegal Immigration at the Southern Border and how this Administration has effectively erased our borders and our national sovereignty.  And guess what, folks?  You can't have a Country without borders that work, and you can't have a Country without national sovereignty, which is defined as "exclusive control" over the land that comprises a country.  Apparently there are many Democrats and others on the left who have either forgotten this (hard to imagine), or have simply chosen to ignore this basic truth.  We are joined on  the show this week by a very special guest, Sen. Josh Kimbrell, who represents Spartanburg in the South Carolina State Senate. If you have questions or comments regarding the show, a show topic suggestion, send us an e-mail to the SMC Mailbag at:          reeseboydSMC@gmail.comAnd be sure to check out some of our favorite coffees over at One Nation Coffee:          www.onenationcoffee.comwhere each purchase benefits the One Nation Foundation, which benefits military veterans and first responders!  And if you use the "Saturday Morning Coffee" promo code, you'll get a 10% discount on your purchase! As always, thanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee!  Have a great week, be blessed, and we'll see you again next week! The Saturday Morning Coffee TeamProverbs 3:5-6

Rice.  Rice's most recent publication, the "White Privilege Album," is due out in September, and he joins us on the show to talk about one of the major reasons Joe Biden (and more broadly, "woke culture" generally) has got to go.  He has divided us and not united us, and that's not what leaders do.If you have questions or comments regarding the show, a show topic suggestion, send us an e-mail to the SMC Mailbag at:          reeseboydSMC@gmail.comAnd be sure to check out some of our favorite coffees over at One Nation Coffee:          www.onenationcoffee.comwhere each purchase benefits the One Nation Foundation, which benefits military veterans and first responders!

Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday, October 14, 2023!This week, Reese and Glenn reflect on the awful and shocking developments in Israel and the Gaza Strip that we continue to learn more about each day.  We discuss the incredible willingness that some have displayed to denounce the innocent civilian victims as "occupiers," or to treat the Hamas attack on Israel as anything other than the terrorist assault on civilized and humane society that it is.  We discuss the imperative to confront evil, and the fact that if we do not, the fight is likely headed to America. On a lighter note, we're also joined in the studio this week by Olivia, a cast member for the upcoming production of "Les Miserables" by the Myrtle Beach Area Children's Theatre (ACT).  The production will take place October 27, 28 and 29, at the Broadway Theatre in Myrtle Beach (located in Broadway at the Beach).  For more information and to purchase tickets, check out the Myrtle Beach ACT website:           https://myrtlebeachact.com/tickets-2We'll be giving away some great "One Nation" coffee on an upcoming show.  If you'd like to enter the drawing for the One Nation prize pack, send us an e-mail to:          reeseboydSMC@gmail.comAnd if you can't wait for the prize drawing, if you're looking for some great coffee to go with the Saturday Morning Coffee podcast, please be sure to check One Nation Coffee and try some for yourself!          www.onenationcoffee.comEach purchase of One Nation Coffee benefits the One Nation Foundation (onenationfoundation.org), which benefits military veterans and first responders, and if you use the "Saturday Morning Coffee" promo code, you'll get a 10% discount on your purchase!  So please support One Nation Coffee and the great work being done by the One Nation Foundation!  Have a great week and thanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee!Everyone have a great week, be blessed, and we'll see you again next week! Thanks,The Saturday Morning Coffee TeamProverbs 3:5-6

Diane Feinstein has passed away, and the time for Term Limits and the need for an amendment to the US Constitution to address this critical issue.  If you've been in Congress (the House and the Senate) for more than 20 years, it's time for you to move along and further the Education of other communities.  Reese and Glenn discuss how we might make that happen. We also discuss the hardships that all progressives, liberals, and social democrats face when they have to start picking up the tab for the costs of their policies.  Mayor Adams is New York City has finally discovered the costs to the Big Apple of being a "sanctuary city" for the tired, poor, huddled masses of the world... and according to Mayor Adams, NYC has never faced a graver threat and he "sees no end to it."  Hmmm... things that make you go hmm...  What happened to all that high-minded rhetoric that then-candidate Adams used to lecture us from the campaign trail just two short years ago? We're also joined on the show this week by Rep. Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday, May 21, 2022!Reese and Glenn are back in the studio this week -- Reese gives a shout out to the Christian Academy Saints, who won the SCISA SC State Championship in Men's Soccer, and placed 2nd in Girl's Soccer!  Reese discusses the 2000 Mules movie, and the work of truethevote.org in providing the data and research for the movie, and his believe that everybody should see 2000 Mules when they can.   We also discuss the many leading indicators that now indicate the Republic is in decline: the shrinking dollar, the sputtering economy, a Congress and President that are spending money like there is (literally) NO TOMORROW... (do they know something that we don't), a million migrants illegally crossing the Southern border with a POTUS that doesn't seem to care, and the decision of the Biden Administration to cede a huge bit of US national sovereignty to the World Health Organization (of all people), and much, much, much, much more (unfortunately). We're joined on the show by special guest, Rep. Tom Rice, who joins us to discuss his campaign for re-election in South Carolina's 7th Congressional District, his accomplishments in five terms representing the District, and lingering sentiments along the campaign trail about his controversial vote in Jan. 2021 to impeach Donald Trump.  (www.tomrice.com)We're also joined on the show by Jeanne and Carter Smith with Coastline Women's Center, to discuss the Center's ongoing work and mission, and recent developments, protest, and other thoughts prompted by the recently-leaked SCOTUS opinion in the Dobbs case that appears to suggest the Court will soon move to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision of 1972.  We encourage everyone to check out and support the great work that Coastline Women's Center is doing!  You can find them online at: www.coastlinewomenscenter.orgThanks for listening, and have a great week!Proverbs 3:5-6

House of Representatives.  (voteforjohncassidy.com)Robert Cahaly, highly regarded pollster with the Trafalgar Group polling firm, discusses the current US Senate Race in Pennsylvania.  Kathy Barnette, who has not been endorsed by President Trump, has been making strong gains in recent polling. Finally, we're also joined on the show by Rep. Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for April 30, 2022!On this week's show, Reese and Glenn discuss the recent purchase of Twitter by billionaire Elon Musk, and how it has brought the Left and the Twitter-sphere to near-meltdown status.  We also discuss the announcement this week of the formation of of a "Disinformation Governance Board" within the Dept. of Homeland Security, and what a disastrously bad (and dangerous) idea this is.Sen Josh Kimbrell (R-Spartanburg), member of the S.C. Senate, also joins us on the program to discuss our efforts to pass election integrity reform legislation, and the current status of that bill in the S.C. Senate.  Sen. Kimbrell also discusses his efforts to remove certain items from the Senate's version of the State budget, including funding for a gender reassignment clinic at MUSC.  We're also joined on the show by Tyson Langhofer, Esq., an attorney who leads the Center for Academic Freedom at the Alliance Defending Freedom, who joins us to discuss the recent victory announced by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in the case in which Langhofer and the ADF Team represented Prof. Nick Merriwether in his legal case with his employer, Shawnee State University (Ohio).  The University had previously required Prof. Merriwether to use pronouns at the request of one of his students, that were not the student's biological pronouns.  When Prof. Merriwether refused to comply, this case ensued.  The opinion from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals confirms the argument made by ADF, that the Government cannot compel a college professor (or anyone else) to say or state something that that individual knows to be untrue.  The Merriwether decision is an important victory for religious and academic freedom, and an important victory for individual liberty, whether one agrees with Dr. Merriwether's perspective on the issues or not.For more information, or to support the important work of the Alliance Defending Freedom, go to: ADFlegal.orgThanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee!Proverbs 3:5-6

Homeowner Flag Freedom Act of 2022."  The Bill was introduced last year, after Bob Keller got "sideways" with his neighborhood HOA, over his efforts to display the S.C. flag in his front yard, and spoke to your humble host, Reese Boyd, who drafted a bill and spoke to Rep. William Bailey about the situation.  Rep. Alan Clemmons to Horry County's vacant Master-In-Equity position, and whether that "meeting" complies with S.C. law, since it wasn't really a meeting, but rather a letter that was circulated privately among delegation members while they were in session at the General Assembly in Columbia.  You can read these and other stories from Rick Brundrette at The Nerve's website - www.theNerve.orgInterview with Rep. Bill Taylor - We're joined on the show by Rep. Hello and Welcome to the Saturday Morning Coffee Podcast for January 29, 2022!Note that we've been on a bit of a podcast "hiatus" for the last several weeks, as we've been having some technical difficulties with our podcast software, but we think those issues are all resolved, and we'll be catching up on the podcast over the next few weeks.  Thanks for bearing with us!On this Episode of Saturday Morning Coffee, your Host Reese Boyd and Produced Glenn Dye remember the Challenger disaster, 36 years later.  We pay tribute to the Challenger 7, and to engineer Allan J. McDonald, who courageously pushed back against his own bosses and NASA in an effort to stop the launch of the Challenger Space Shuttle on January 28, 1986.  We also discuss the "covert operations" of DHS and FEMA to relocate illegal aliens within the US, when local cities and towns, and their law enforcement agencies, don't even know what is going on, as recently leaked footage and body-cam video from Sheriff's deputies in Westchester County, NY makes clear. We also discuss the resignation of Justice Stephen Breyer and the excellent piece that just appeared in the WSJ, "Race, Gender, and the Supreme Court."  We're joined on the program by Lt. Governor (SC) Pamela Evette, who shares her recent visit to Christian Academy in Myrtle Beach, among other items.  We also talk to Douglas Blair with the Daily Signal, who wrote a fascinating (and disturbing) piece this week over at the Daily Signal, about 1.6 Million "Redditers" who think we should just do away with "work" altogether.  (Oh yea, this is going to work out well!)  We wonder if any of these people have ever been to Venezuela.Reese shares some Parting Wisdom in the final segment, and reminds listeners to write in an share how they've been investing in the lives of others... what started as a Christmas experiment must now carry on!  If you've got a story to share with Reese and the Saturday Morning Coffee crew, send a teaser to Reese @ reeseboydSMC (at) gmail.com, and we may invite you to come on a broadcast of Saturday Morning Coffee and talk about it.In the meantime, as promised there's an "Easter egg" in this edition of the Saturday Morning Coffee podcast, so be sure to listen carefully!  Thanks for listening and we'll see you next week for more "Saturday Morning Coffee!"Proverbs 3:5-6
