Katie Porter's Surge in the California Governor RaceWith Kamala Harris opting out of a gubernatorial run, Katie Porter is reaping the benefits. New polling from Politico shows Porter pulling ahead, with 30 percent of Harris's former supporters now backing her. Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra trail behind at 16 and 11 percent, respectively. Porter's advantage comes from her visibility and defined ideology — she's well known and clearly positioned on the progressive spectrum.California's jungle primary system means all candidates run on the same ballot, and the top two — regardless of party — face off in the general. Right now, two Republicans are splitting their share of the vote, which adds up to something in the thirties. Porter is in the driver's seat, but with that comes the expectation of incoming fire. Her reputation for detail and sharp questioning in Congress could cut both ways — she's admired for precision but rumored to have a temper and staff issues that may resurface. If you ask me, I'd rather be in her shoes than anyone else's in this race. Governor Porter is no longer a long shot — she's a top contender. Sure, she's not universally loved, and her style is a sharp contrast to someone like Gavin Newsom, who leans more on charisma than policy depth. But Porter's grounded, process-oriented approach might resonate with voters ready for a different kind of leadership. It's early — but she's clearly in the lead. The Freedom Caucus ExodusChip Roy is heading home — not just to Texas, but into the state attorney general race. He's leaving behind his role in the House and with it, another domino falls in the dissolution of the Freedom Caucus. He's not alone. Byron Donalds is going for Florida governor. Barry Moore wants a Senate seat in Alabama. Ralph Norman is aiming for South Carolina's governor's mansion. The list goes on — and the pattern is clear. These were the hardliners — the names you heard when Speaker fights broke out or when high-stakes votes were in play. Now, they're moving on, seeking promotions or exits. The Freedom Caucus' influence, once loud and obstructive, is quietly fading. They all bent the knee to Trump eventually, and now it seems like they're cashing out or repositioning for relevance in state politics. In Texas, the AG job is a powerful one. Ken Paxton used it as a springboard and wielded it aggressively. If Roy wins, expect more of that hard-edged, action-first governance. But nationally, their exodus signals something more — the end of a chapter. The Freedom Caucus isn't what it was, and its main voices are scattering. Their watch has ended.Tulsi Gabbard's Deep State OverhaulTulsi Gabbard, now Director of National Intelligence, has unveiled ODNI 2.0 — a major restructuring plan that slashes staff and consolidates units focused on countering foreign influence and cyber threats. The goal is to cut $700 million annually — a bold move, but one in line with this administration's mission to slim down government operations. It's another signal that this White House doesn't operate under old assumptions. The intelligence world, long a target of Trumpian criticism, is being gutted — not just for size but for perceived bias. There's a strong undercurrent here about the so-called deep state and its relationship with the press. This move isn't just administrative — it's cultural. It's about information control. Gabbard is targeting the pipelines that leak classified narratives to shape public perception.Living in D.C., you feel the impact of this. It's a company town — when the company is laying off hundreds, the town shifts. Longer happy hours. People breaking leases. Uncertainty hanging in the air. But if you're in this administration, it's not about sympathy. It's about loyalty — or the lack thereof. And for many who see Trump as the duly elected CEO of the U.S. government, trimming the fat is justice, not politics.Chapters00:00:00 - Intro00:02:43 - Interview with Alex Isenstadt00:27:40 - Update00:28:54 - Katie Porter00:31:49 - Chip Roy00:34:28 - Gabbard Cuts00:41:23 - Interview with Evan Scrimshaw01:31:52 - Wrap-up This is a public episode. The White House announced it's leading a "comprehensive internal review of selected Smithsonian museums and exhibitions" to ensure that the museums "celebrate American exceptionalism, remove divisive or partisan narratives, and restore confidence in our shared cultural institutions."Why? One reason is that White House special assistant Lindsey Halligan got in Trump's ear and complained that there was too much focus on slavery across the Smithsonian Institution. Halligan even told Fox News that in museums, there should QUOTE: "be more of an overemphasis on how far we've come since slavery." To discuss who's behind the changes in our cultural institutions, we spoke with Zachary Small. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover a spy war in Washington DC, the Democratic Party's collapse in registration and identity, and urgent global updates from Russia, China, North Korea, and Venezuela. From Tulsi Gabbard stripping clearances from top intel veterans to Democrats embracing socialism and Trump sending warships toward Venezuela, today's brief gives you the facts behind the headlines shaping America's future. Battle of the Spies in Washington: Trump's Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, revoked the clearances of 37 current and former intel officers, including Obama-era staff tied to the discredited Trump-Russia ICA and Steele Dossier. Gabbard warned, “Having a clearance is a privilege — not a right.” Biden's former CIA Director William Burns fired back, calling it a “retribution campaign” and accusing Trump of acting like an autocrat. Bryan reminds listeners that Burns once visited Jeffrey Epstein's home for “career advice,” raising questions about credibility. Democratic Party in Decline: The New York Times reports Democratic voter registration is collapsing nationwide, especially among Hispanics, men, and voters under 45. Analyst Michael Pruser admitted, “There seems to be no end to this… month after month, year after year.” Party leaders split over solutions, with some warning of “Trump's quest for a personal dictatorship” while Obama's Ben Rhodes insists socialism is “the future of the party.” Bryan reflects on why he left the Democrats, citing Marxism, anti-American policies, and race radicalism. Global Updates — Russia, China, North Korea, Venezuela: Putin backtracks on security guarantees for Ukraine, demanding veto power for Moscow and Beijing, while Trump's VP JD Vance insists, “Europeans are going to have to take the lion's share of the burden.” Microsoft cuts back cyber cooperation with China after Beijing abused early warnings, leading Bryan to quip, “Xiè xiè… that's Chinese for thank you, you stupid Americans at Microsoft.” New intel reveals a North Korean base near China housing up to nine ICBMs capable of striking the U.S., and Trump orders destroyers, Marines, submarines, and surveillance aircraft into Venezuelan waters to confront Nicolás Maduro's “narco-terror cartel.”   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: Tulsi Gabbard revokes clearances, William Burns Trump fascist claim, Obama Trump-Russia ICA Steele Dossier, Democratic Party voter registration collapse, Ben Rhodes socialism future, Trump Putin Ukraine peace talks, JD Vance Ukraine burden sharing, Microsoft China cyber hacks, Bill Gates China spies, North Korea secret ICBM base, Trump Venezuela destroyers Marines, Nicolás Maduro narco-terror cartel

They claim to have opened investigations into the former F.B.I. director James Comey and the former C.I.A. director John Brennan. You've probably been reading or hearing a lot about artificial intelligence these days. AI stocks such as NVIDIA have been driving the stock market. AI programs such as ChatGPT are already disrupting a number of industries, including education, journalism, and social media platforms. And lots of smart people believe that the disruptions have only just begun. AI generated video content is already blurring the lines between reality and something that is not reality, but which very closely resembles reality. And everyone involved with AI is unanimous in this: AI will only get better, more realistic, more powerful. What are Christians to make of artificial intelligence? Kathy McReynolds has made a career of studying the frontier between Christianity, technology, and anthropology, and she has some thoughts on the subject of artificial intelligence. Dr. McReynolds graduated with a BA in Christian Education at Biola University, and then went on to earn an MA in Systematic Theology at the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. After earning her degrees, she took five years off, wrote five books, had three children, and then went on to earn her PhD in Ethics at the University of Southern California. She has since written nearly a dozen more books. She has been a US intelligence officer and has advised the Department of Defense and the Office of National Intelligence on AI issues. For many years she was a professor in the Bible Department at Biola University. She currently serves as an AI Theologian for FaithTech, integrating biblical theology and emerging technology. Dr. K, as she is often called, spoke to me via zoom. The producer for today's program is Jeff McIntosh. Until next time, may God bless you.

Darrell Castle talks about what the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, called a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people. Transcription / Notes THE VERY DEFINITION OF A COUP Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. This is Friday the 25th day of July in the year of our Lord 2025. I will be talking about what the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, called a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people.  Before I begin I want to take a moment and recognize that this month is the 15th anniversary of the Castle Report. Yes, folks I have been doing this for 15 years. It was conceived in a hotel in the state of Idaho back in 2010 after a discussion with some friends in the Constitution Party about how we needed people to speak on the issues. I said I will do it but only if no one tries to control what I say or what I talk about and to this point no one has. I will admit that sometimes I wonder if anyone cares about the issues enough to control what I say. Yes, Tulsi made some explosive accusations and she has released the documents to prove them. I'm starting to think that perhaps it was not a good idea for Hillary Clinton to refer to Tulsi as a Russian agent during the 2016 primary campaign. Perhaps it was not even a good idea to have her placed on the terrorist watch list so she would be unnecessarily searched in every airport she traveled through. Maybe you should not have had Tulsi followed by dog teams and maybe you should not have taken her electronic gadgets including her U.S. Army issued laptop and phone as she traveled through airports. Yes, what goes around comes around and now the way Tulsi has been treated by Democrats, especially since she used to be one, is and has been shameful but am I saying she released the documents for revenge. No, I'm not saying that because the documents speak for themselves and Tulsi has demonstrated the honor expected of a 20-year army officer to this point. Revenge can be sweet though, and as they say it is a dish best served cold. How explosive are Tulsi's allegations let's take a look. By the way I assume that everyone is aware of what I'm talking about in regard to the completely false Russia gate accusations against Trump so my intent is to look at the possible ramifications. The word treason is often used because it is a capital offense with no statute of limitations and so the charges can be brought no matter how long ago the alleged offense occurred. Think about it like this folks; the senior official in charge of all American Intelligence operations is now stating unequivocally that former President Obama and the subordinates of his team intentionally sabotaged the peaceful transfer of power in 2016.  She tells us, in effect, that they violated their oaths, betrayed their sworn duty to the American people, and attempted a coup against the legitimate government of the United States. In other words, they set out to weaken and then overthrow the government of the United States. They did all this, allegedly, not on behalf of some foreign power, but on behalf of their own power. They had power and they wanted to keep it because I suppose they had the power addiction really bad and they just couldn't be bothered about the rules of the game. So, do those charges constitute treason. The United States Constitution Article 3 Section 3 defines treason. “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.” So, again do the allegations constitute treason. I suppose one could try to allege that the acts constituted war against the...

While pressure mounts on the White House to release documents related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, President Donald Trump is doing his damndest to turn the public's attention to his latest conspiracy (which is really just a remix of an old one). The president is alleging, despite zero evidence, that former President Barack Obama and members of his administration lied about Russian efforts to swing the 2016 election for Trump and made up intelligence to support those claims. This time, though, Trump's wild allegations are being fueled by his own Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. She's been releasing documents she says contradict the intelligence community's well-established conclusions about Russia's interference in the 2016 election, claiming they're proof of a ‘coup' to undermine Trump during his first term in office. Atlantic Staff Writer David Frum, host of the new podcast ‘The David Frum Show,' joins us to talk about the return of ‘Russia, Russia, Russia,' and what Trump's willingness to go after his political opponents– including a former president – says about where his second term is headed. And in headlines: The Justice Department reportedly informed Trump his name appears in the so-called Epstein files, a federal judge ruled a Maryland man who was wrongly deported to El Salvador should be freed from custody at the Tennessee jail where he's currently being held, and President Trump announced a new tariff deal with Japan.Show Notes:Check out David's podcast – https://youtu.be/0kISxha7bJA?feature=sharedCall Congress – 202-224-3121Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/3kk4nyz8What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcastFollow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/For a transcript of this episode, please visit crooked.com/whataday

//The Wire//2300Z July 24, 2025////ROUTINE////BLUF: CONFLICT ERUPTS BETWEEN THAILAND AND CAMBODIA. GLOBAL STARLINK OUTAGE OBSERVED THIS AFTERNOON.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Southeast Asia: Tensions between Cambodia and Thailand have flared up again, and both nations have escalated sporadic border clashes into more direct hostilities. Yesterday, a Thai soldier stepped on a landmine in the disputed border region and from there, the situation deteriorated rapidly. Overnight, Thailand conducted several airstrikes in Cambodia, bombing unknown targets in the contested regions along the border. Some reports claim that one Thai F-16 dropped two bombs on an unoccupied road, whereas other reports claim that military targets were hit by several aircraft. Regardless of the uncertainty of what was struck initially, Cambodian forces have begun the deployment of armored columns to the border to attempt to maneuver through the extremely rugged terrain throughout the contested areas. Rocket attacks have been carried out by both sides throughout the day, also with unknown targets or effects, and most of the border between the two nations is currently host to sporadic fighting, artillery strikes, and small arms skirmishes.-HomeFront-USA: This afternoon an outage was reported on the Starlink network, which resulted in all Starlink terminals being down around the world for several hours.Analyst Comment: So far no cause for the outage has been reported, and there are already many points of speculation as to what caused such a substantial outage. Yesterday T-Mobile and Starlink announced the rollout of their direct-to-cell service project. This also comes a few days after the Microsoft SharePoint vulnerability continues to wreak havoc on various commercial and government entities, so it's always possible that some little known exploit related to that was involved in the outage. However, until Starlink issues a statement regarding what caused the disruption, it could be anything.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: In Washington D.C. various political moves continue as before, not much of which is helpful for discerning the truth at the moment. The Epstein scandal remains pertinent as the White House continues sheepish behavior on the subject, and a federal judge blocks the DoJ from releasing certain documents pertaining to the case. Separately, the White House and Director of National Intelligence have made statements pertaining to the Obama Presidency, and the actions undertaken at that time to target President Trump. No real "smoking gun" details have been released on that topic (beyond what everyone already knows), and the timing of this bombshell report is interesting. Nevertheless the weaponization of various intelligence agencies for political gain over the past few years is a serious topic that at this point is too big to ignore. As such, the truth coming to light is of utmost importance if there is to be any hope of trust in the intelligence community ever again.Analyst: S2A1Research: https://publish.obsidian.md/s2underground//END REPORT//

The release of documents by Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, has finally exposed how, when, and who put together the elaborate Russia collusion hoax that hobbled President Donald Trump in his first administration. What is not well known is how the hoax was part of a larger plan by the Deep State to embroil the US in endless wars while gutting its manufacturing industries, thereby facilitating China's rise to global hegemony.Key Deep State actors were following a script given to them by hostile extraterrestrials described as Draco Reptilians and Orion Grays, who were allied with a breakaway German group called the 4th Reich. In the 1950s, during the administration of President Dwight Eisenhower, it became clear that MJ-12, the group running extraterrestrial projects, had gone rogue and had become incredibly powerful through the reverse-engineered technologies it had acquired. Eisenhower alluded to the danger posed by MJ-12 and warned Americans and the world about it.In addition, Eisenhower created a safety valve in the form of a special section of the US Marine Corps whose responsibility was to monitor MJ-12 operations and intervene if the American Republic was ever threatened. That intervention occurred with the recruitment of Trump to run for the Presidency in 2016, and efforts to expose the Deep State through their attempts to remove him from power by a hoax Russia collusion narrative.Trump's attempt to start a peace dialogue with Russia and to stop further Middle East wars from happening has neutralized the Deep State's efforts to create a Gog and Magog End Times war, and the appearance of fake extraterrestrial saviors. Gabbard's revelation makes clear who the chief Deep State culprits are, thereby making it possible for their arrest and the end of Deep State influence all over the planet. This will make possible an official disclosure announcement of friendly extraterrestrials working with the Trump administration to usher in a Star Trek future.Join Dr. Salla on Patreon for Early Releases, Webinar Perks and More.Visit https://Patreon.com/MichaelSalla/

Her assessment is that all those implicated should be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” While the coup did not succeed in its purpose of negating a democratic election and/or overthrowing Mr. Trump's presidency, it tremendously harmed his first term and the nation. The Obamagate scandal warrants a special prosecutor and its chief perpetrator and every co-conspirator must be held accountable as soon as possible.  This is Frank Gaffney.

This weekend Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, released hundreds of documents she says are evidence that a huge numbers of Democrat officials—including President Barack Obama—engaged in treason and seditious conspiracy against President Donald Trump.  Gabbard also says that she has referred the matter to the Department of Justice and Attorney General Pam Bondi for federal prosecution. The crime of treason carries a potential death penalty, and the crime of seditious conspiracy carries a sentence of 20 years in a federal penitentiary. DNI documents: https://tinyurl.com/yhfzy6e6Interesting, most of the response to these allegations by Gabbard are not denials of the misconduct.  Indeed, the Progressive Fascist Left appears to have largely conceded the legal merits of the accusations. Instead, the Progressive Fascist Left is resorting to a variety of legal and political deflections and misdirection in an effort to wave away the apparently incontrovertible allegations of treason and seditious conspiracy. There are at least four main avenues of legal and political deflections being used by the Progressive Fascist Left against these credible allegations of treason and seditious conspiracy. First, and the only one that even carries even the stench of a denial is that doesn't everybody know that it was actually proven that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election, and therefore the claims to that effect by Obama and other co-conspirators were simply truths, not treason or sedition? Then we get to the non-denial deflections.Second, that even if Obama engaged in treason and seditious conspiracy, he has presidential immunity against any such charges.Third, that even if Obama and others engaged in treason and seditious conspiracy, the standard federal crimes 5-year statute of limitations has already expired on these alleged offenses. Fourth, that even if Obama and others engaged in treason and seditious conspiracy, all this is merely political theater to distract from the “Epstein files” kerfuffle, it doesn't matter because the Trump DOJ won't dare arrest or prosecute anybody, so this is all pointless. Each of these four avenues of attack on Gabbard's claims and document release are demonstrably 100% false—with the possible exception of the last argument about this being merely political theater, which may be half true—but that will be a matter within the control of Donald Trump. The #1 guide for understanding when using force to protect yourself is legal. SEASON 3 EPISODE 142: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: The only “scum” here is Trump and the only thing that’s been “obliterated” is America’s reputation. We have now descended to that level of hell in which the entire purpose of the government of the United States is to say and shout and lie so loudly and so often that the insane, deteriorating, mentally-dissolving, international joke that IS the current president doesn’t yell at the fools and whores who work for him. He has now gotten the government of Israel to lie for him about his attack on Iran; he has now gotten his own government to issue assessments that not only completely contradict YESTERDAY’S assessments but completely contradict his OWN assessments; he has now gotten his own Director of National Intelligence – presumably under threat of being fired – to cherry-pick SOMEBODY’S intelligence, maybe ours, maybe Qatar’s, maybe Joe Rogan’s, who knows – and insist that it is NEW and it confirms his obsession that everybody in the country, everybody in the world, everybody in the universe, everybody YET TO BE BORN, agree with him that Iran’s nuclear capacity is quote “obliterated” and for all time and forever and no arguments and it’s the greatest military success since Hiroshima and Nagasaki and don’t you dare say otherwise, don’t you dare say inconclusive obliterated obliterated obliterated. Except that 24 hours ago Trump said… inconclusive. THERE ARE SEVERAL SIDEBARS to Zohran Mamdani’s startling first-round win in the Democratic primary for mayor here in Fun City. First: the tepidness of national Democratic support for him. Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and the rest of the gerontocracy better shape up fast because Mamdani won the MIDDLE class by doing the two things you idiots refused to even try to do last year: combine concern for the financial crushing OF the middle class, AND standing up for what’s right in the country and the world, including opposing Trump and ICE and punishing corrupt political cynics like Andrew Cuomo. The hesitation can only open an avenue for Eric Adams to whore himself out as a pro-business "centrist" who will be Trump's tool. B-Block (27:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Larry Ellison and my old ex-friend Jeff "You Should've Known I Was Lying To You" Shell have a plan for CBS News: more Bari Weiss. The one time we could've used propaganda and Voice of America in Iran, Kari Lake made sure we were off the air. And it's so easy to miss and to minimize, but Trump went full gay-bashing this week. Silence is compliance. C-Block (37:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Now that I'm with my fifth different network just doing baseball games (FanDuel Sports) it's a good time to revisit my departure from my first. A scant 28 years ago this month I left ESPN - but we came thisclose to keeping the relationship going just enough to continue the Sunday SportsCenter.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
