The Steve Gruber Show

The Steve Gruber Show

Live from the no panic zone—I'm Steve Gruber—I am America's Voice— I am a man on a mission to make this nation better—and yes I am proud to say I believe in America First—   Here are three big things you need to know right now—   ONE— Michigan will join Georgia, TCU and yes Ohio State in the College Football playoffs—Michigan will take on TCU first hoping for a shot at the National Title—   TWO— The Wuhan Whistle Blower says the Covid-19 virus was manmade—and leaked from the lab in Wuhan—and he says he has the proof on much of it—because he worked there—   THREE— I have been telling people for years that the Freedom of Speech is under attack in America—and it has been more and more for several decades—   We have been the only honest players at the poker game but now we know!   People would regularly dismiss what I had to say on the matter—my liberal friends would snicker and roll their eyes—BUT today I have the proof that everything I thought and more—has been going on—and much of it still is—   When James Clapper, as the Director of National Intelligence  lied to Congress about the intentional government surveillance of pretty much every single one of us—you knew it was happening—and with each passing year we find out just how deep the surveillance of us all goes— And at this point is pretty much undeniable—and that is the way it seems to go—when something starts to leak out—and people act shocked, and say I just cannot believe that is happening—well you had better believe it—its happening—and its been happening for a long time!   The truth is—the deck has been stacked against the Republicans and Conservatives and regular Americans for a very long time—But instead of the New York Times and Washington Post holding sway and controlling the conversation—it has become much more high tech—and Big Tech led by Social Media companies have been becoming more and more aggressive about silencing anyone who would dare dissent from the orthodoxy of Progressive talking points—   Yes, we have been playing a game, where everything is rigged and almost nothing has been left to chance— nothing.   We know because the richest man in the world, Elon Musk who apparently doesn't feel that he is on the leash of Klaus Schwaub or George Soros—had the audacity to buy Twitter for $44 Billion dollars and tear off the veneer—then he dug deeper—found more and kept looking—then on Friday—he gave the story to Substack writer Matt Taibbi to disseminate to the world—and we finally substantiated what millions of us already knew—Social Media was in the tank for the Democrats and the Progressive Agenda—   But we also found out this rigged card game went much deeper—and the Presidential campaign of Joe Biden was in touch, sometimes several times a day—to dictate—what should be removed from the platform—so that it would not be seen by millions of people—in fact—they didn't want many of those things seen by anyone—   And when people would cry foul and object—they were quickly labeled conspiracy theorists—and nut jobs—   But today we know—because we have the emails—and the correspondence—and the evidence—that the conspiracy to impact the 2020 election—was not just the Democrats and Joe Biden working with Twitter and Facebook and others to control what you were allowed to see, hear and read—it was also the FBI and other agencies of the United States Government working diligently for one political party—in an effort to beat another—   It all began to unravel in late 2020—not long before the Presidential Election—at the time—all interested parties thought they had committed the perfect crime—BUT Elon Musk getting ahold of the internal documents has turned this cold case into a hot mess for the left—   Miranda Divine—the lead writer on the Hunter Biden story for the New York Post—says the FBI, The Biden Campaign, top level Democrats and others made damn sure the story would get silenced— and anyone promoting it—would surely get smeared—    And don't think for a second this ended at Twitter—in fact that was just the beginning—and I can tell you as we go forward and with the Republicans coming into the House with the majority—we are going to learn a lot more about just how much control the intelligence agencies, in coordination with Democrats and their Social Media pals had in twisting the narrative—burying stories they didn't like while amplifying ones they did—even ones that were patently false—like the attacks on President Trump using the discredited Steele Dossier—and the false Russian interference line—   Now another whistle blower has stepped forward to reveal the the FBI was working weekly and sometimes daily with Facebook to control the narrative about Hunter Bidens laptop and a host of other issues—this comes from a deposition taken from FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan—   Chan, according to his sworn testimony, was originally one of two agents that were assigned to warn Facebook of potential Russian interference in the 2020 race—and as he was involved—watched as the FBI became ever more involved in crafting the narrative in favor the Democrats, Progressives and Socialists—   The revelations came from a lawsuit filed by Missouri and Louisiana against the Biden Administration—for censoring free speech—under the guise os misinformation—   The Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt—who is now a Senator Elect—says its clear it went from contacting Facebook every few weeks—to “working to censor freedom of speech”—   Elon Musk meanwhile—says he is ready to continue revealing the dirty nature of what has been happening behind the curtain at Twitter—and that has a host of people—on all sides paying attention—some are cheering while others are scared the jig is up—and that is why so many on the left are fighting so hard to put the Musk Genie back in the bottle—But its far too late for that—it seems once you know the deck is stacked—the whole game changes—   IN fact some of the former Twitter staff—now admit they did exactly what we have been accusing them of for years—BUT of course they were doing it for good reasons—at least that is the claim— And honestly should any of us be surprised at all?   The warnings about the Biden Administration—and the agencies of the Federal Government being actively involved in censorship of social media have been right in front of us—for a long time—listen to this from Jen Psaki in July 2021—    And its not like any of them were ready to tell the truth—   Joe Biden—lied to America and the world about Hunter's Laptop—and continued to lie about Russian involvement—when there was absolutely none—   Now comes the rationalizing—by those that have been caught dealing dirty from the bottom of the deck—

Aya Hijazi is an American citizen and a humanitarian. She is the founder and Director of the Belady Foundation that worked to help children in Egypt who lived on the streets. In May 2014 when the crackdown on civil society in Egypt was gathering pace, Egyptian police raided the Belady Foundation's offices and arrested Aya, her husband and her colleagues. They were wrongfully imprisoned in Egypt for almost 3 years.Human Rights Watch called their wrongful imprisonment a travesty of justice. The US government publicly called for Aya's release and she was eventually freed in April 2017. On this episode, we have the honour of speaking to Aya herself. Aya gives us an overview of the political climate in Egypt in 2014 and walks us through her arrest, her interrogation in a police station where she was assaulted and accused of being an American spy, conditions of her detention, the medical issues she suffered from while she was in prison, her sham trial, using her time in prison to learn French, Spanish and drawing as well as how she found the strength to keep on going during those three years. Aya gives recommendations to other former hostages and hostage families on how to persevere through this trauma and tells us what she's been up to since her release. We then discuss what the Egyptian and American governments should do better, how the media can really help make a difference in raising awareness of a hostage's case as well as what the public can do to help. Aya also reveals that on the day of her release from prison, she was taken to meet the Egyptian Director of National Intelligence who forced Aya to attend a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House – a meeting she didn't want to attend. She was told there would be consequences to her husband if she refused. Since Aya's release, she has been advocating for human rights in Egypt and she talks about British-Egyptian human rights activist, Alaa Abd El-Fattah who has been on hunger strike for months as well as the murder of Italian citizen and Cambridge University student, Giulio Regeni who went to Egypt to research labour unions.   If you prefer, you can watch the video version of this interview on YouTube. For more information on Aya Hijazi, please check out the following:Aya Hijazi's Twitter accountThe Belady Foundation's Twitter accountThe Belady Foundation's Facebook accountEgypt Prison Atlas websiteGet the latest updates on hostage cases we at Pod Hostage Diplomacy are working on including new episodes by subscribing to our fortnightly newsletter, the Hostage Briefing. The United States of America has a vast intelligence community. To manage it all, the United States Intelligence Community, or IC, is an actual group of organizations that work separately and collectively to conduct intelligence activities that are supposed to support the nation's foreign policy and national security interests. Member organizations include the intelligence agencies, military intelligence, civilian intelligence, and analysis offices within federal executive departments. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence oversees the Intelligence Community. That director reports directly to the President of the United States, who as commander in chief is also the chief of all intelligence operations. The list of member organizations is a familiar one. The Department of Homeland Security, the National Security Agency or NSA, and of course, the Central Intelligence Agency or the CIA. One of the more common points of confusion when it comes to the intelligence community is where the CIA's responsibilities end, and where the FBI's begin. And vice versa. The FBI is part of the Department of Justice. It is the domestic intelligence and security service of the United States. It is the federal government's principal law enforcement agency.  As part of the Department of Justice, the FBI reports to the Attorney General of the United States and the Director of National Intelligence. Again, the FBI's focus is domestic. The CIA is a civilian foreign intelligence service. It was created by President Harry Truman right after World War II. It is charged with gathering, processing, and analyzing information relevant to national security. That information can come from around the world. The CIA is not responsible for spying on American citizens. Though should American citizens be involved with any potential foreign threat, they could find themselves under the microscope of the CIA. Unlike the FBI, which is focused on domestic security, the CIA has no law enforcement function and is officially mainly focused on overseas intelligence gathering. The mysteries surrounding the work of the CIA has been the stuff of books, of Hollywood movies and TV shows. In the news media, it's been the stuff of legend. You never know what's really true or not.  That question was my starting point when I had the chance to sit down with former CIA operative Andrew Bustamante. Sep. 7, 2022: Legal world fires at Judge Cannon

POLITICO Playbook Audio Briefing

Legal pundits have had another day to digest Monday's confounding opinion from Judge Aileen Cannon. Recall that the 41-year-old Trump appointee (who was confirmed in the days after the 2020 election) granted the former president's request to appoint a special master to review the documents taken from Mar-a-Lago, and enjoined the Department of Justice “from reviewing and using the seized materials for investigative purposes.” She ordered the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to continue its damage assessment review of the documents.   Lawyers are, by definition, a quarrelsome bunch, and members of the pundit bar are especially quick to second-guess any opinions that aren't theirs. But they are also as ideologically divided as the rest of the country. So it's notable that while Cannon has had little trouble finding political support for her decision, she has been largely alone when it comes to support for her legal arguments. And Senate Republicans tried to tamp down the burgeoning feud between Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and NRSC Chair Rick Scott (Fla.) over campaign strategy at a Tuesday meeting, Burgess Everett and Marianne LeVine report. “Republican senators said after the meeting that there was little talk inside McConnell's leadership suite of a split between Scott and the GOP leader. Still, the divide hung over the Senate's return like Washington's steamy early September weather.” Subscribe to the POLITICO Playbook newsletter Raghu Manavalan is the Host of POLITICO's Playbook. Terrorism at Munich: Lessons Learned 50 Years On

About the Lecture Not many events of the late 20th century are as important and foreboding as the seizing of 11 athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972. Black September, a Palestinian group, held the Israeli captives during a long drama observed over T.V. by as many as one billion people. Then, at a nearby airfield, German police botched a counterterrorism effort and the hostages were murdered by their Palestinian captors. While five of the terrorists perished in the ensuing firefight with German authorities, three escaped overseas and, in a style archetypal for the business of terrorism, they gave a press conference. Politics, sentiment about Germany, feeling for and against Israel, strategy, media, and counterterrorism were all themes of that month – and years of discussions and plans that ensured. The Germans set about forming an elite CT team – which in turn helped stand up U.S. and European counterparts. States were stirred to begin countering terrorism: appeasement was rebalanced by some aggressiveness in official postures and law-making. Even so, using force remained rare – except in the case of Israel which opened a careful assassination plan against terrorist infrastructure overseas. About the Speakers Dr. Christopher Harmon wrote his political science dissertation on terrorism in the early 1980s and continued that work as Legislative Aide for Foreign Policy to a member of Congress and, much later, director of counterterrorism studies programs at the Marshall Center in Germany for the U.S. government. A professor at civilian and military graduate schools including the Naval War College, Dr. Harmon began teaching courses at The Institute of World Politics after 9/11 — on terrorism, and later on counterterrorism. He now serves as a full-time professor at IWP. Lead author or editor of eight books, he serves as Distinguished Fellow at the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Future Warfare at Marine Corps University. Mr. Aaron Danis is a career terrorism and counterterrorism specialist, holding a Bachelor's degree in Military Studies and a Master's degree in Security Policy Studies. He is a retired U.S. Army intelligence officer, and has served in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Treasury Department, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
