Talking Smit About Film is (unsurprisingly) the official podcast from TheJackSmit.com. Every now and then, Jack gathers a few of his industry buddies round some mics to talk nonsense about the film world- and the results are truly nerdworthy. There's also the occasional highlight from the Ripped Tic…
With this year's awards season coming to its conclusion last night, (a very sleep deprived) Jack recaps the key headlines to come from the Golden Globes right up to the Oscars - with a little detour to chat about the Razzies too.
With the Oscars looming large, it was about time we brought the old girl back. Jack Smit is back behind a microphone, and while we won't be in-vision as much, the podcast is coming home.
This episode is best enjoyed in video form on Spotify. 250 subscribers on the YouTube channel naturally means the soft launch for a new series. Why a soft launch? Well, Jack filmed his reaction to the Oppenheimer teaser trailer, and the powers that be at Universal don't want you to see it because it *apparently* doesn't constitute fair use. So using the video podcast medium, we put it on here instead.
In the first rant for a considerable amount of time (and not because of the film's quality), Jack Smit looks at Doctor Strange in the Madness of the Multiverse without dropping a single spoiler.
No bells, no whistles - just the reviews you know and love. On this mini episode, Jack reviews The Lost City.
Handbags quite literally met gladrags last night as Hollywood descended upon the Dolby Theatre for this year's Oscars - and it's not just because of THAT punch from Will Smith. Having pulled the all-nighter, Jack's here to break down what happened at a very, well, eventful ceremony. #BringingCinemaCloser #Oscars Bring Cinema Closer Across Social Media Visit the Blog: https://www.thejacksmit.com Join our Discord server: https://discord.gg/Z7FFYvJ Talk Smit About Film anywhere you go: https://podfollow.com/talkingsmitaboutfilm Listen to Ripped Ticket: https://podfollow.com/rippedticket Follow our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/SmitOnFilm Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SmitOnFilm/ Follow Jack on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/thejacksmit
