    Ivy Insights

The Counseling Corner podcast is a breath of fresh air in the world of mental health podcasts. As a 14-year-old listener, I may be younger than their target audience, but I find their episodes to be incredibly insightful and helpful in dealing with issues regarding friends and personal identity. The team behind this podcast has created a safe space where they discuss important topics with maturity and authenticity.

One of the best aspects of The Counseling Corner podcast is their conversational and relatable approach. Unlike other mental health podcasts that can be dry and boring, this podcast feels like having a genuine conversation with friends. The hosts are witty, funny, and extremely informative, making it easy to follow along and learn something valuable from each episode. They cover a wide range of mental health topics, providing listeners with insights, tips, and real-life stories that can resonate with anyone.

One downside of this podcast could be that it may not delve too deep into certain topics due to its conversational format. While the hosts provide great overviews and advice on various subjects, they may not always have enough time to go into detail or explore certain concepts further. However, the entertainment value and relatability of the episodes make up for any lack of depth in specific areas.

In conclusion, The Counseling Corner podcast is an incredible resource for anyone looking to improve their mental well-being. It's refreshing to find a podcast that combines humor, authenticity, and knowledge in discussing important topics related to mental health. Whether you're dealing with personal struggles or simply interested in learning more about emotional well-being, this podcast offers valuable insights delivered in an entertaining and relatable manner. I highly recommend giving it a listen.

Palmer's On the Brink Everything: Grace, Gravity and Getting Old.  Each of them gives their perspective on Life, Death, and Spirituality.   Natalie also includes her ideas and notions about faith and doing it her way as she says below: “Specifically, reading On the Brink, allowed me to realize that it was natural if Christianity's Christology didn't square with my thinking, and similarly that it was okay if I took in tenants from other religious beliefs and philosophies and excluded the ones that didn't sit well with me.  And although for decades I was irked that I couldn't quite say that my faith was strong, now I see that whether it is strong or weak is not necessarily the point.  Even if its ebb looks like overturned mountain peaks and its flow is minimal progression, the idea is that embracing the process itself IS the PRIZE.
