Genesis 3:1-7 (NLT) The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord has made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It's only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, “You must not eat or even touch it; if you do, you will die.” “You won't die!” The serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it, then she gave some to her husband who was with her and he ate it to. At that moment they felt shame at their nakedness.” Lust of the eyes (she saw) lust of flesh (beautiful/delicious) and pride of life (what it would do for her). It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” We are all on a journey! Ephesians 1:4-5, MSG Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) Ephesians 4:11-16, NLT 12 Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. ...that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.     Bring Out The Best In Others

Ephesians 4:29 NIV "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." “It's not about giftedness, it's about thoughtfulness.” Be thoughtful, and everyday, seek out others to encourage. Share with them Jeremiah 29:12 NIV "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." If we were as quick to lend our ear as we are about lending our opinions, we might see more hurting hearts getting healed.     Romans 6:14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. Romans 10:4 For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result all who believe in Him are made right with God. Hebrews 10:1-4 The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship. If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared. But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year. For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
