She is also a registered yoga teacher and certified in mindfulness for trauma and stress reduction. As a lifelong advocate of nonprofit community programs, Shayla devotes her time to supporting initiatives for veterans, the military, and survivors of war or armed conflict. She is currently the Sustainer Donor Manager at Paralyzed Veterans of America and serves on the Junior Board of Tuesday's Children.
