Juan Carlos Ier de Borbón y Borbón est né en exil avant la deuxième guerre mondiale. Après son mariage avec la fille du roi de Grèce Sofía, il traverse de longues années difficiles en attente d'un statut officiel. Tiraillé entre son père, figure de la légitimité bafouée, et son mentor Franco, il est alors perçu comme une marionnette manipulée par ce dernier qui finit par le désigner comme successeur à la tête d'une monarchie qui devra être franquiste. A la mort du Caudillo en 1975, le jeune prince de 37 ans devient donc roi d'Espagne, et à la surprise de tous, rétablit la démocratie, légalise le parti communiste, et défend sans vaciller son régime face à la tentative de coup d'Etat militaire en 1981. En esta entrevista, la doctora Sofía Ríos, subdirectora de determinantes en salud, explica el funcionamiento de la línea 106 de salud mental en Bogotá. Esta línea ofrece orientación y escucha a quienes enfrentan problemas emocionales, recibiendo alrededor de 20,000 intervenciones mensuales. La doctora Ríos destaca que el 42% de las consultas provienen de jóvenes. Se discuten los protocolos de intervención, la importancia de la psicoeducación y el aumento del 60% en las llamadas en los últimos meses. La línea 106 está disponible 24/7, con un equipo de 47 profesionales listos para brindar apoyo. Sofía es una niña huérfana que vive en un orfanato de Londres. Una noche ve a través de su ventana una extraña y enorme figura en la calle. Es un gigante con una maleta y una extraña trompeta que se está asomando a las casas de la vecindad. El gigante se da cuenta de que Sofía lo ha descubierto y la rapta para llevársela a su lejano país. Sofía cree que aquel gigante la va a devorar pero comienza a hablar con el y pronto descrubre que se trata de el Gran Giganta Bonachón, que a diferencia de los otros 9 gigantes que habitan en el país de los gigantes, no come a «guisantes humanos», como ellos los llaman. Comienza así una tierna relación entre la niña y el GGB.

Georgia Arnold is a Tāmaki-based multidisciplinary artist working intuitively across a range of mediums, including drawings, ceramics, painting, metalwork and sculpture.  In her current exhibition at Melanie Roger Gallery, Retreat, Arnold draws inspiration from her time spent house-sitting in Pukekohe, letting her semi-rural surroundings, new routines, and everyday encounters inform the direction of a new body of mixed media drawings and sand cast charms. Using her art-making as an escape from conflict and a canvas for healing, the works embrace the chaos, tension, and potential for a messy, expressive, and loud autobiography, obscuring the subjects of her introspection in the process.  Sof had a kōrero with Georgia Arnold about Retreat and her overall practice.
