El Instituto El Carmen de Murcia ha culminado con éxito su ciclo de tres años como Escuela Embajadora del Parlamento Europeo, recibiendo la noticia de que ha sido aceptado como Escuela Mentora a nivel regional para el próximo curso 2026-2027. Este reconocimiento pone en valor el trabajo del coordinador Félix Baeza y de las embajadoras junior Emilia, Sofía y Marina, quienes recientemente destacaron al obtener el tercer puesto nacional (de entre 14 finalistas) en un concurso de ensayos organizado por Equipo Europa sobre los 40 años de España en la UE. Además de este éxito académico, el centro mantiene una sólida marca Erasmus+, con proyectos de intercambio activos con países como Noruega, Grecia, Bélgica y Alemania, lo que permite a los alumnos obtener diplomas que enriquecen su currículum para futuras etapas universitarias. A pesar de la exigencia del próximo curso escolar, las estudiantes se han comprometido a seguir impulsando el proyecto europeo y a guiar a los nuevos alumnos de secundaria en esta andadura internacional.

Le rechazan y buscan su muerte, pero es despreciado también por muchos en las primeras iglesias cristianas. En el capítulo 22 del libro de los Hechos, Pablo cuenta por segunda vez su conversión, para defenderse ante las autoridades judías. En este programa de Ruta 66 hablamos del asombro de la conversión de este enemigo de la Iglesia que era Saulo, convertido en el mayor heraldo de la fe cristiana. Lo hacemos en relación con la historia del Padre de la Iglesia primitiva más conocido por la dramática conversión que narra en sus "Confesiones", Agustín de Hipona (354-430). El profesor noruego Jostein Gaarder se hizo muy conocido por la historia novelada de la filosofía que hizo para jóvenes en "El mundo de Sofía" (1991). Poco después publica "Vita Brevis" (1996), un breve juego de ficción sobre lo que la amante de Agustín diría de su conversión, cuando la deja para hacerse cristiano. Presenta al Padre de la Iglesia en su ciudad de Hipona, al norte de África, asediado por los vándalos, ante el poder de los romanos, así como la difícil relación del obispo de Milán y la emperatriz arriana. El Partido Popular y VOX llevan días arremetiendo contra la llamada ley de nietos. VOX, de hecho, la ha rebautizado con sorna como ley de tataranietos, pide además su anulación y, entretanto, su suspensión cautelar. El PP, más comedido, habla de ingeniería electoral para fabricar votantes e hinchar el censo. Ambos coinciden en la idea de fondo, que el Gobierno está tratando de atornillarse al poder mediante algo parecido a un golpe de Estado legal rehaciendo el censo a golpe de nacionalizaciones exprés y arbitrarias. La sospecha está justificada por los números que se manejan. Unos 2,6 millones de personas han iniciado los trámites para obtener la nacionalidad española, y a 30 de abril más de medio millón ya la tenían. La Ley de Memoria Democrática se vendió como reparación a los represaliados del franquismo, pero una enmienda que ampliaba el acceso a la nacionalidad fue rechazada dos veces en el Congreso. Ese no parlamentario se convirtió en un sí administrativo cuando la Dirección General de Seguridad Jurídica, dirigida por Sofía Puente, firmó una instrucción que presumía la condición de exiliado a todo español que abandonase el país entre 1936 y 1955, aunque lo hiciera por motivos puramente económicos. Los propios protagonistas lo han admitido sin disimulo. El senador socialista César Mogo ha llegado a escribir que a esos descendientes no solo los quieren, también los necesitan. El censo CERA lo confirma con 2.708.083 inscritos a 1 de mayo de este año, un 16,1% más que en 2023. Galicia encabeza la lista, algo previsible, pero sorprende Madrid, que ha crecido un 28% pese a ser tierra de inmigrantes más que de emigrantes. La explicación es que cuando un nuevo español no acredita provincia, se le adscribe por defecto a la capital. El sistema tiene una serie de grietas. El voto CERA no exige identificación presencial a diferencia del voto postal en el interior cuyos requisitos se endurecieron tras el fraude de Melilla hace tres años. Además, una casilla de otros motivos permite a cualquiera elegir circunscripción, de modo que un vecino de Cochabamba puede decidir escaños en Cádiz o Guipúzcoa sin haber pisado España jamás, ni tener más vinculación con el país que un ascendiente lejano. En otras partes de Europa existen leyes similares, pero su planteamiento y aplicación es muy distinto. Italia frenó en seco una avalancha parecida, Irlanda, Francia, Alemania y Austria atan estos derechos a vínculos reales o a agravios documentados y circunscritos a unos motivos muy concretos. En Portugal aprendieron por las malas con su ley sefardí con la que se terminó naturalizando el oligarca ruso Roman Abramovich. Aquello terminó con la derogación de la ley. Pues bien, donde otros vieron problemas, Sánchez ha encontrado una oportunidad. El colapso en los consulados es monumental, hay casi un millón de expedientes solo en Argentina. Para descongestionarlo, Justicia y Exteriores han externalizado el trabajo, incluso mediante una empresa pública del régimen cubano, lo que resulta tragicómico tratándose de la concesión de pasaportes, algo que en Cuba no es precisamente fácil de conseguir. Desconocemos cuál será el impacto electoral. Dependerá obviamente de la participación de los nuevos votantes. Con una participación similar a la de 2023, es decir, en torno al 10%, hablaríamos de un 0,4% del electorado. Pero una participación mayor movería escaños en algunas provincias como ya ocurrió en Madrid en las últimas elecciones. El verdadero daño no está tanto en los votos que suma, sino en la sospecha que siembra sobre las reglas del juego justo en el momento en el que las encuestas anticipan una derrota catastrófica para Sánchez.
