The Whatever Is True Podcast is a podcast that I have recently discovered after following their hosts, Jake and Bethany, on Instagram for a while. I was drawn to their values and content that they share from a biblical worldview. After listening to the first season of the podcast during my long drives, I quickly became hooked. One of the best aspects of this podcast is how Jake and Bethany lead everything back to God and scripture without being condescending or rude about it. They approach controversial topics with a biblically sound perspective, offering both of their perspectives and supporting each other. As a homeschooling mom, I also appreciate their views on education. Overall, this podcast provides valuable content that I enjoy listening to.
One of the best aspects of The Whatever Is True Podcast is how open and honest Jake and Bethany are in their discussions. They are not afraid to point out the obvious, even when it comes to discussing difficult issues that the world is facing. They tackle topics such as Covid, homeschooling, attending church, abortion, and mega churches from a gentle but firm standpoint based on scripture. Their conversations are uplifting and offer practical tips and real-life examples that listeners can relate to. This podcast also offers a refreshing perspective on these topics in today's culture.
While there are many positive aspects of The Whatever Is True Podcast, one potential improvement could be making longer episodes. Some listeners may find themselves wanting more content because they enjoy listening so much. Additionally, episode 17's length (a bit over 54 minutes) was mentioned as being enjoyable due to its longer duration. However, this could just be personal preference and does not detract from the overall quality of the podcast.
In conclusion, The Whatever Is True Podcast is an exceptional podcast that provides valuable insights from a biblical perspective. Jake and Bethany create an inviting atmosphere where listeners feel like they are part of a small group discussion. Their candidness and transparency about their beliefs, their approach to raising their family, and living out their marriage are truly inspiring. This podcast is a great source of encouragement for listeners, regardless of their Christian or non-Christian background. I highly recommend listening to The Whatever Is True Podcast and I look forward to hearing more from Jake and Bethany in the future.
