The testimonial she recounts is of an individual who never fit the diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria, and the theory of “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria” is a pseudo-scientific theory without broad acceptance or any clinical basis. Subscribe for $5.99 a month to get bonus content most Mondays, bonus episodes every month, ad-free listening, access to the entire 800-episode archive, Discord access, and more: https://axismundi.supercast.com/ Allie Beth Stuckey insists that gender and biological sex are the same thing, that there are two binary genders, and that gender identity and gender dysphoria are myths. In support of these claims, she offers simplistic appeals to “science” and the story of a woman who “detransitioned” from a transmale identity back to her previous female identity. In this episode, Dan takes a close look at these dimensions of Stuckey's argument to show that gender and sex are not the same thing and that the story of “detransition” she offers actually demonstrates the opposite of what she thinks. Ooooh! Dan McClellan has a bee in his bonnet, and her name is Allie Beth Stuckey! This week we're looking at the parable of the sheep and the goats. In it, sheep are good, and goats are bad, and the Lord has some sorting to do. How do you get to be a sheep? Feed, house, clothe, and generally take care of your brothers and sisters. But that presents a problem for Allie Beth: who are her brothers and sisters? Well, let's just say that Ms Stuckey and Dr McClellan do not agree on the best way to interpret Jesus in Matthew 25. It's a showdown! And Allie Beth doesn't come out looking like a sheep. It's the goat vs the G.O.A.T! Then, we're getting positively archaeological up in here, as we explore some fascinating ancient papyri from a little island in the Nile river in southern Egypt. Elephantine island is a thousand miles from Israel, but the tiny community of ancient Hebrew people that lived there shed some incredible light on what Judaism might have looked like back then... and it might surprise you! ---- For early access to an ad-free version of every episode of Data Over Dogma, exclusive content, and the opportunity to support our work, please consider becoming a monthly patron at: https://www.patreon.com/DataOverDogma      Follow us on the various social media places: https://www.facebook.com/DataOverDogmaPod https://www.twitter.com/data_over_dogma Have you ordered Dan McClellan's hit book The Bible Says So yet??? Tyrese Haliburton sank three threes, kick-starting the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, before suffering an Achilles injury that sidelined him for the game and maybe next season. Jason notes that the injury coincides with a lengthy list of injuries that have sidelined Indianapolis marquee athletes like Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, Victor Oladipo, and Paul George. During a season featuring the best of times and worst of times in Indianapolis ... it appears the Indiana Fever are pretenders, not contenders, for the WNBA title. Caitlin Clark is 1-17 from three-point range in her last two outings. Jason explains the issues with the Fever and the "tres leches" T-shirt worn by Sophie Cunningham before Sunday's game. Jay Skapinac joins the show to discuss whether Haliburton would have made the difference against Oklahoma City and whether the Pacers risked their future by playing Haliburton. Jason and Jay break down the trade sending Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets. Steve Kim jumps into the mix with Jason for a deep dive into the slumping Indiana Fever. In particular, she argues that abortion is the murder of an innocent human person. She also tries to show that anti-abortion advocates affirm a full “culture of life,” and are not only concerned with the unborn. But are her arguments convincing? What does it mean to be a “human person,” and why does this matter? Can a theologically conservative Christian like Stuckey even affirm that humans are ever truly “innocent” in the first place? I Don't Have Enough FAITH to Be an ATHEIST

What ONE insight will either make or break your life as a Christian, or even as a non-Christian? If followed, it will help your marriage, parenting, business, job, friendships, politics, and most importantly, your eternity and your relationship with Jesus.Spurred by recent political and cultural events surrounding President Trump's first 100 days in office and comments made by Vice President J.D. Vance during a recent interview about protecting the interest of American citizens, Frank reminds listeners of the doctrine of "Ordered Loves". Originally articulated by Augustine over 1,600 years ago, this classic school of thought seems to be totally lost among our culture today. Tune in as Frank answers questions like:What is the Doctrine of "Ordered Loves", why is it so important, and how does it affect every single area of your life? What are the negative consequences when we get the order wrong? What did Jesus have to say about getting our priorities in the right order? What did Dr. Erwin Lutzer mean when he said "love can be evil"?Why did Vice President J. D. Vance recently cause a stir during an interview and what did Pope Leo XIV have to say about it?Why do so many people (including some who claim to be Christians) reject the idea of hierarchies and an ordered world? What's the difference between true and false compassion? Is character in politics only about personality? What are 15 things that the Trump Administration has done policy-wise during the first 100+ days in office that all Christians should support? What is the primary purpose of government? Is idolizing politics really a problem among conservative Christians? In his article, 'Why Progressive Christians Reject the Doctrine of "Ordered Loves"', Michael Clary writes, "Whether we like it or not, God's world is ordered and hierarchical. We can embrace it and enjoy the blessings of living according to God's design, or we can reject it and live a life of bitterness, like so many progressives." Episode 187: Hosts Richard Kyte and Scott Rada discuss the emerging conservative critiques that frame empathy as a potential moral liability, offering a nuanced perspective on human compassion’s psychological and ethical dimensions. Kyte explained that some Christian commentators, including figures like Allie Beth Stuckey and Joe Rigney, have begun characterizing empathy as a potentially dangerous emotional response that can lead to misguided actions. "Empathy is a psychological ability to feel what another person is experiencing," Kyte said. "It's different from compassion, which involves taking practical action to help others." He emphasized that while empathy provides an important emotional foundation for understanding human suffering, it must be balanced with practical wisdom. The discussion highlighted recent controversies, including Elon Musk's approach to workforce reductions, which Kyte described as demonstrating a "callous disregard" for employees' experiences. The conversation also touched on broader social issues like homelessness, where simplistic solutions often fail to address complex systemic challenges. Kyte argued that responsible empathy requires careful consideration of legitimate needs and potential consequences. "You can't immediately go from feeling someone's pain to implementing a solution without understanding the broader context," he explained. Drawing from New York Times columnist David French's analysis, the podcast suggested that some conservative religious movements are increasingly prioritizing political dominance over compassionate understanding. Kyte warned that this approach could ultimately backfire by creating unnecessary cultural divisions. The podcast concluded with an ethical dilemma exploring how to respond to a potentially homeless individual using gym facilities, with Kyte emphasizing that behavior, not appearance, should guide compassionate responses. "The main question is whether the person is causing any harm," Kyte said. "If they're not disrupting others and are a paying member, there's no reason to intervene."

Why are so many Christians being led astray by statements like "abortion is healthcare," "trans women are women," and "love is love"? Conservative commentator and Christian author Allie Beth Stuckey joins Frank to talk about the inspiration behind her brand new book, 'Toxic Empathy', which explores real-life examples of how compassion has been weaponized against Christians, ultimately shaming evangelicals into supporting and celebrating policies that violate the Christian worldview.During their conversation, Frank and Allie will answer questions like:What are the five main issues that Allie tackles in the book? How is toxic empathy causing Christians to become blind to the false narratives that are being promoted through secular media? What events awakened Allie to the reality of toxic empathy invading evangelicalism? How has the social justice movement distorted God's view of justice? What unique approach did Allie take in introducing each chapter that will help readers show compassion towards the stories mentioned in the book?Resources mentioned during the episode:Allie's Book: ToxicEmpathy.comAllie's Website: AllieBethStuckey.comHelpful Resources and Local Voting Guide: VoteYourFaith.netDoes Jesus Trump Your Politics? https://bit.ly/48eRJzPIs It Wrong for Christians to Call Out Shepherds? https://bit.ly/3zTC7W3Shepherds for Sale with Megan Basham: https://bit.ly/4hdo5Py

Christians are all told to embrace love and compassion — but the left has learned to exploit these two impulses to create something evil. Allie Beth Stuckey joins Charlie to explain how the language of "toxic empathy" gives way to defunding police, critical race theory, BLM riots, child mutilation, and worse. If Christians can't learn to distinguish real love from mere empathy, Allie explains, they will continue to be exploited and defeated by the left.    Check out Stuckey's new book at https://www.amazon.com/Toxic-Empathy-Progressives-Christian-Compassion/dp/0593541944 Become a member at members.charliekirk.com!Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Megyn Kelly is joined by National Review's Charles C.W. Cooke and Michael Brendan Dougherty to talk about Kamala Harris' nonstop use of "ambitions" and "opportunity," her new push to reach black men through a "Shade Room" interview, her inability to think so she just memorizes canned lines like an actress, her repeating the same line about "the duality of democracy," Tim Walz's failed attempt to go hunting and look manly, the disdain Democrats have for the voters in America, President Biden taking a dig at Kamala during a White House staff meeting, the feud between the two camps spilling out into the public, Biden being used as a tool of the Democratic machine, JD Vance's on-air showdown with ABC News' Martha Raddatz, her claim that Venezuelan gangs are only taking over some apartment complexes and not whole towns, how out of touch the corporate media is with most Americans, and more. Then Allie Beth Stuckey, author of "Toxic Empathy," joins to discuss how progressives talk about abortion without thinking about the implications, the lack of empathy that's disconnected from how many Americans see the issue, actor Bryan Cranston campaigning for Harris over "reproductive rights" and Megyn's story about how he stopped being friends with a Trump supporter, Joe Scarborough's absurd spin during his interview with Doug Emhoff, the lack of questions about the assault allegations against Emhoff, journalists refusing to do their jobs because of political bias, the hypocrisy on the left about supporting women, and more.Cooke- https://podcast.charlescwcooke.com/Dougherty- https://www.nationalreview.com/author/michael-brendan-dougherty/Stuckey- https://www.toxicempathy.com My Patriot Supply: https://PreparewithMegyn.comLumen: Visit https://lumen.me/MEGYN to get 15% off your LumenGround News: Use the link https://groundnews.com/megyn to get 40% off the Vantage subscription to see through mainstream media narratives.Follow The Megyn Kelly Show on all social platforms:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/MegynKellyTwitter: http://Twitter.com/MegynKellyShowInstagram: http://Instagram.com/MegynKellyShowFacebook: http://Facebook.com/MegynKellyShow Find out more information at: https://www.devilmaycaremedia.com/megynkellyshow
