The show that pairs a Wine with a Whine! Shaughn Buchholz and Ellen Clifford are wine nerds based in Los Angeles who curate wines for their funny friends whines!
Shaughn Buchholz and Ellen Clifford
The Wine Situation podcast is an absolute gem that I stumbled upon during my extra time at home. It has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Hosted by Ellen and her co-host Shaughn, this show not only provides entertainment but also imparts knowledge about wine in a fun and approachable way. It feels like sitting down with a friend for a glass of wine (even if it's just in spirit).
One of the best aspects of The Wine Situation is the chemistry between Ellen and Shaughn. They have a great rapport and their banter is always entertaining. They both bring their own unique strengths to the show, which adds variety and depth to each episode. Additionally, the guests they invite on the show are always interesting and add value to the discussions about wine. The concept of matching wines to whines is clever and allows for a wide range of topics to be explored.
While it's hard to find any major faults with this podcast, one minor drawback could be that some episodes may not appeal to everyone's taste. Since the show covers a variety of subjects, there may be episodes where certain topics don't resonate as strongly with certain listeners. However, given the diverse range of topics covered, there is likely something for everyone.
In conclusion, The Wine Situation podcast is a delightful blend of humor, information, and entertainment. Ellen and Shaughn make learning about wine enjoyable and accessible for all listeners. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply enjoy a casual glass every now and then, this podcast will leave you feeling entertained and maybe even inspired to try new wines. So grab your favorite bottle, sit back, and enjoy this delightful journey through the world of wine.
