9. april fortsetter Litteratur på Blå samarbeidet med poeten ariel rosé, og inviterer til en kveld viet to armenske poeter, Tatev Chakhian og Anush Kocharyan. Chakhian bor i eksil i Polen, mens Kocharyan bor i Jerevan, Armenias hovedstad.

In this week's episode, Nick chats with Anush Newman, Managing Director at JMAN Group, the global data consultancy specialising in the private equity market. Anush's story makes for a fascinating listen. He cut his consulting teeth in the oil and gas industry, working in roles that took him all over the world, to locales as exotic as Kazakhstan, Sellafield and Northern Scotland! After tiring of all the travel, Anush embarked on a successful contracting career which eventually led (by way of a broken spreadsheet!) to the creation of JMAN, the global data consultancy Anush founded with his cousin Leo. Fast forward to today, and JMAN now a team of over 200 consultants working across London and Chenai with plans for further global expansion. Earlier this year, they were recognised as one of the Times ‘Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies' with an annual growth rate of over 80%. But Anush and JMAN's journey hasn't been without its hiccups, and in this episode Anush shares openly the challenges they faced and how they managed to turn them around to go from almost going under to becoming one of the UK's fastest growing firms. If that wasn't enough, there's a whole host of other fascinating topics that Nick and Anush discuss in this one, including… - Anush's decision to move from the stress-free world of contracting to running his own firm - How breaking a client's Excel spreadsheet led to the lightbulb moment behind JMAN - The single-minded approach that led to JMAN breaking into the private equity market - Creating a ‘one-team' culture in an organisation that spans the globe If you want to learn the secrets of someone who's gone from contractor to successful consulting leader, then this episode is a must listen. In a world where time's hard to buy easily, i made a timeless voyage along the lively streets of Dubai Though the purpose was very official , i surpassed it very quickly and the officials left me in the hands of hotel staff and my wonderful mates. In spite of her busy flat hunting schedule, flowmny took over the time navigation as she effortlessly engaged us into a culinary tour of ever famous restaurant district of Dubai. Being a vegetarian doesn't come easy or helpful, especially for my companions who graciously tolerated my humble crime of looking for a vegetarian place every time. It was five days of vigorous run through a fantastic variety of eateries on offer. To me, every new restaurant was better than the previous one and finally we concluded, it was a wholesome experience all together. Walking through Mina bazar was remarkable, it was so typical and reminded me of all the busy streets i ever came across in India. So fascinating with heat, the smell, the noise, street food and all other ingredients that make an Indian street complete. Loud, tempting interactions with street vendors make you feel so involved and negligent about what you are or where you came from. Every cab driver happily narrated their stories and dreams, they reminded me about New York taxis with similar vibe Juggling in and out of his important meetings, Vinay squeezed in with us and guided us to explore his familiarities with excellent street food and midnight teas. Looking down from the 71st floor bar we relished the feel of business bay area and even talked about opening a Rasa, to bring in a London flavour of India to this new Dubai hub. In the middle of a taste filled tour, it was a significant time with Sama, the wonderful and charming real estate manager, we shared an enriching spiritual conversation from nowhere and as always it was meant to happen. Anush and Rema silently followed the journey, though heavily contributed to all the romantic story telling in the late-night coffee sessions. As I packed my bags to say goodbye to all tasty food corners, wonderful warm weather and ever so lovely friends, Dubai gave me a very sweet and emotional impression unlike other times. Thank you, Dubai. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/das-sreedharan/message

A beauty junkie turned aesthetic nurse, Anush turned her passion into a career and skyrocketed very quickly. A mother of 2 with a busy career, she talks about how she grew so rapidly whilst keeping the balance of self-care. Honesty is her best policy and staying true to herself has been the key to her success.
This episode is a particularly special one. For the first time Ani and Anush decided to create an episode fully in English. Very fitting to the topic which is going to be the Armenian Diaspora in the US. Teni was born in Iran and moved to the US in her teenage years. She offers us an insight into her struggle to relate to the community she suddenly found herself in and her journey to discovering her own Armenian identity.
Wine in itself represents history. And wine from the caucus states have had wine for 1000's of years…and Bulgaria is no exception. I taste 100's of wine each month and I went back to see how many Bulgarian wines I had tasted since I started using a database to keep track…..8 prior to these Rough Day versions. Roberto Hayk had a vision and a dream to bring a new world version of an old world place to America…and Rough Day wines are here! Such an interesting story and true thought and passion have gone into these wines and the value is through the roof. I sat with Robert and his US Ambassador and Armenian Somm, Anush Gharibyan O'Connor.
Start trusting your gut as a leader. This can seem like something that could easily go wrong and have disastrous consequences, particularly when it goes "against the data". But, making tough decisions is something that ALL leaders have to do at some point or another, and more often than not these decisions are based on instinct. This is especially true when the data is incomplete or bad. I hosted Anush Prabu, US Chief Strategy Officer and Global Chief Strategy Officer, Creative Transformation for MediaCom. He explains how in these moments, it's important to trust your intuition and make the decision that you believe is best for everyone involved. We dive into three key strategies to trust your gut and make better decisions. Anush has been an instrumental part of the transformational growth of Mediacom since 2017, leading it to become the fastest-growing media agency and being awarded Agency of the Year three times during that period. He has also been credited for helping shape several of the agencies' offerings, including Creative Systems, which provides platform-first creativity that drives relevance and growth for clients such as Dell, Pokémon, and P&G. He has been honored as an Adweek's Media All-Star, Adweek Young Influential, International Innovator, and Integrated Marketing Influential over the years. He is also an ardent champion of diversity and inclusion, advocating for the cause on industry boards. How the art of listening helped them create an award-winning campaign for Pokemon. The big leadership skill in the Metaverse. The biggest mistake he sees leaders making in the Metaverse. 3 steps for trusting your gut as a leader. Why trusting your gut can lead to better decisions. A critical step to creating a culture of trust for your team. Why employees must stand up to their boss (and how to do it). The catastrophic cost of turnover and how to avoid it. Have you been wondering how to get started with video marketing? In today's episode, Anush Mnatsakanyan, CEO and Co-Founder at Burnwe, shares tips for how to begin your video marketing journey. Video marketing is all about strategy. First think about the goal of your video, the intended audience, and what platform you want to share it on. Research keywords related to your topic beforehand and be sure to use them throughout your video. Most importantly, if being on camera makes you nervous, start first by making videos just for yourself. That way you can become more familiar with the tools and more comfortable in front of the camera before worrying about sharing your videos. Tune into this week's episode of Powerful Marketing Tips for a conversation about video marketing. Learn about tips to get started recording and sharing your own videos and the best tools to use for video editing. Quotes • “It's all about the strategy. First you create a strategy, then you create a video, then you think about the distribution.” (5:43-6:53) • “Before getting started with YouTube Marketing, start with researching the keywords. It is the first thing that people need to do. When you search keywords on YouTube search, it will give you an understanding of what people want to watch.” (8:20-8:36) • “You should take all the things that are in your hand and try everything to see which works for you. Because something may work for me, but something may be different for another person and your audience may ask for different content. So I would suggest doing everything in your hand.” (13:33-13:52) • “I can only recommend getting started with simple videos. Create a lot of stuff, vlogs, share tips. Share everywhere. If you see the results of video marketing, hire a team who can help you with professional production.” (20:54-21:08) • “I would recommend starting with recording yourself and sharing educational content. That's the most important thing that you can start with in video marketing. Because it's a time when you explain yourself as an expert in the industry, people start to trust you more when you're sharing educational tips with them. I know a lot of people are struggling to be in front of the camera, even I did. Nobody can say it is easy. In the beginning, start creating videos for yourself. Later on you will understand that you want to share these videos, and you will start doing that. I recommend starting even right now, just turn on your camera and start recording your videos.” (26:59-28:23) Links Connect with Anush Mnatsakanyan: • Website: www.burnwe.com • LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/anush-mnatsakanyan/ Video editing apps that Anush shared: Adobe Premiere Rush, Videoleap Editor, Instagram Reels, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects Get access to our Spotify playlist with all of our guests' favorite songs: • https://powerful-marketers.com/podcast https://powerful-marketers.com/guest-application/ Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

Today on the Daily Grind Podcast we are joined by Wellspent Co-Founder Anush Sachdeva. Wellspent was born from years of research exploring and understanding the relationship people have with their money and the ways technology was changing it. Through these observations, Anush Sachdeva and his longtime co-founders noticed a gap in how money management apps were built and the way in which money actually existed in people's lives. With an Economics degree from the University of British Columbia, Anush has always loved collecting and analyzing data to find trends and problems worth solving. He started with RBC nearly seven years ago as a behavioral choice architect, focusing on consumer psychology and experience design. In this role, he helped set up and support a Design & Innovation research practice group. This established the foundation for several years of work and study to better understand decision-making in the context of money management, and developing tools that support it. Previous to RBC and RBC ventures, Anush co-founded a news aggregation startup called, WePower and worked briefly in Advertising. Anush's co-founders, Matt and Dan, have backgrounds in leading and conceptualizing innovative projects and strategy in the personal finance space and mobile banking apps. Together, Wellspent was created within RBC Ventures, a unit of RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), and launched in December of 2018. Today, Wellspent is a free money management app on a mission to help Canadians make better decisions with their money.
