Allie sits down with Trey Tucker — counselor, author, and former undercover volunteer with human trafficking raids — who risked his life participating in a human trafficking raid in Southeast Asia, helping rescue 20 young girls from prostitution rings run by ruthless mama-sans and corrupt networks. Trey shares gripping firsthand stories from the raid, the heartbreaking realities of how girls (many underage) were trafficked, and the emotional toll of going undercover while relying on his faith for recovery. The conversation also dives into the psychology behind evil in operations like Jeffrey Epstein's, why certain politicians maintain appeal despite controversies, and a Christian perspective on today's therapy culture that often glorifies victimhood over genuine growth and purpose. Trey discusses his new book "Tough Enough," exploring how to hone habits, cultivate strength, and step into God-given purpose without being derailed by distraction or feelings. What if the version of strength most men were handed is quietly breaking them?In this deep and honest conversation, Brandon Clift interviews Trey Tucker, founder of Rugged Counseling and author of Tough Enough, a book written specifically for men in their twenties who feel stuck, drifting, or disconnected.Trey opens up about the sudden death of his father and how he navigated grief without shutting down emotionally. He shares the unconventional approach he used to process loss and how it shaped his model of therapy today.Together, they explore:• Why many men struggle with grief • The biological differences in how men and women process stress • Why traditional therapy can leave men stuck in awareness without action • The rise of red pill culture and why it initially feels empowering • Why Gen Z men are increasingly unmotivated at work • The dangerous trend of “playing it safe” • The need for mentorship and modern rites of passage • Why men need vision, accountability, and action • The difference between repression and strengthTrey argues that masculinity itself is not the problem. Misguided expression is.Instead of eliminating grit, dominance, or ambition, he calls men to integrate emotional awareness with decisive action. This episode is for:Men in their twenties who feel directionlessFathers raising sons in a confusing cultural momentLeaders managing disengaged young menAnyone wondering if therapy could be more effective for menStrength is not the absence of emotion. The Becoming You Show with Leah Roling: Inspire, Impact, & Influence Your Life
We talk a lot about mental toughness. But most of us were never taught the difference between strength and self-abandonment. In this episode, we explore why pushing harder, overriding your emotions, and “staying strong” often erode self-trust instead of building it—and how real mental toughness is something entirely different. This is a grounded, honest conversation about staying with yourself when things get uncomfortable. About the quiet ways self-abandonment shows up in high performers, parents, leaders, and in the familiar phrase: “I'm fine.” And about why burnout doesn't come from effort—it comes from effort layered with judgment. We unpack what emotional resilience actually looks like in real life, how to listen to your inner voice under pressure, and why embarrassment and discomfort aren't signs that you're failing—they're signs that you're growing. In this episode, you'll learn: The difference between being tough on yourself and tough for yourself Why self-criticism masquerades as discipline Where self-abandonment shows up in high-responsibility roles How to build self-trust in the moments that matter most A simple reflection loop to stay present instead of pushing through Why emotional resilience—not suppression—is the foundation of real strength This conversation is not about doing less or lowering standards. It's about learning how to stay loyal to yourself while you do hard things. If you're capable, committed, and quietly exhausted from holding it all together, this episode will help you rethink what strength actually requires.

Reinvention isn't a comeback montage; it's a messy rebuild in public. We brought Maven on to talk about how he turned a “Tough Enough” tag he could never shake into a media brand built on candor, craft, and community. From going viral on YouTube within months to taking bumps on thumbtacks just to explain how the magic works, he breaks down the strategy behind the growth: make YouTube videos that happen to be about wrestling, not wrestling videos awkwardly uploaded to YouTube. We trace the arc from early locker room heat to earning respect through work with The Undertaker and veterans who judged him on how he treated people and performed in the ring. Maven opens up about living under labels, why he stopped seeking permission, and how telling the truth—politely or bluntly—wins over audiences even when it ruffles peers. He shares the episode with Enzo that never aired, the night he borrowed Batista's suit when his custom one didn't show, and the reality of Randy Orton's once-in-a-generation instincts paired with youthful volatility. There's RVD lore, too, and a confession about losing a round to the legend's tolerance. We also get practical about the business side fans feel in their wallets: ticket prices that price out families, short-circuiting the pipeline that made so many of us fans in the first place. Maven argues for affordability, smarter demographics, and creating spaces where fathers, mothers, and kids can build memories without breaking the bank. And for wrestlers eyeing life after the ring, he lays out a blueprint for owning your story: collaborate widely, serve the audience first, bring receipts, and respect the platform. If you love wrestling storytelling with honesty, humor, and real insight into YouTube growth, audience building, and fan-first thinking, this conversation hits the sweet spot. Listen, share it with a friend who loves the business, and if it resonated, subscribe and leave a review so more fans can find it.Send a text

Firearms laws are the responsibility of the states and territories, and the National Firearms Agreement was introduced after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre to standardise rules about who could own a gun - and why. Now, National Cabinet has decided that even tighter rules around gun ownership should be rapidly rolled out after a licensed firearm user and his son killed at least 15 people in a terrorist attack at Bondi.

The 80s weren't a fertile time for blues on the radio. Eventually, acts like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray and this week's guest the Fabulous Thunderbirds captured some attention and kept the torch lit. In fact, "Tough Enough" also happens to be one of the greatest singles of the decade, but it was the T-Birds biggest and only crack at the pop charts. Eventually, tastes changed, Jimmie Vaughn left the band, and things settled back down, but the they've never stopped delivering blistering blues for six decades now. Frontman Kim Wilson is here to discuss his great new solo album, Slow Burn, but also to give a tutorial on the history of the blues. He's a great dude and still doing what he does best.
