One of the best aspects of this podcast is Yanet's relatability. The topics she discusses are relatable and speak directly to the heart. She has a way of reminding us how to live with intention and purpose in our daily lives. I appreciate that she provides actionable steps that are reasonable and doable, allowing listeners to implement her advice into their own lives.

Another great aspect of this podcast is the variety of guests that Yanet brings on. Each episode serves a different function and is beneficial in its own way. Whether it's hearing personal stories or getting advice from experts in various fields, there is always something valuable to take away from each episode.

Yanet's ability to create a comfortable environment for her guests is also worth mentioning. After 141 weekly episodes and nearly three years of consistent podcasting, I'm making a bold pivot - and it's teaching me everything about strategic quitting. As a former corporate engineer turned self-mastery coach, I've learned that success isn't about forcing yourself to stay consistent with strategies that no longer serve you. It's about having the courage to follow your intuition, even when it means letting go of something that's working to create space for something that could work even better. My journey from Cuba to corporate America to coaching has taught me that your 'why' should remain constant, but your 'how' needs to stay flexible. This podcast has been an incredible vehicle for impact, but my intuition is calling me to shift from weekly episodes to written blogs and guided meditations - a return to my childhood love of writing and a deeper alignment with my purpose. In this final episode, I share why strategic quitting isn't giving up - it's creating space for evolution. Whether you're considering a career change, ending a relationship, or pivoting your business strategy, you'll learn how to honor your growth while staying true to your bigger purpose. In today's episode, we're chatting about:• Why consistency shouldn't come at the cost of alignment• How to recognize when it's time for a strategic pivot• The difference between quitting and creating space for growth• Why your 'how' should remain flexible while your 'why' stays constant• Practical steps for making aligned decisions in your business and lifeYanet helps high-achieving women gain the clarity, confidence, and courage to stop holding themselves back so they can go after what they want unapologetically.Keep following along through the Self-Mastery with Yanet Blog and over on my Youtube! If you're not actively creating your future, your brain is stuck replaying your past on autopilot. As a new mom balancing business and life, I've discovered the power of mental rehearsal - a scientifically proven technique that can transform your reality. Research shows that 95% of who we are by age 35 is simply programmed behavior, but we can change this through intentional practice, especially during key times like right before sleep. The science is fascinating: A 2004 Cleveland Clinic study proved that simply visualizing exercise increased muscle strength by up to 35%, a significant increase. This same principle applies to every area of life - your mind can literally reshape your reality when you learn to use it strategically. Most people spend their evenings scrolling through social media or responding to emails, missing this crucial window for mental programming that could transform their next day.In this episode, I share the exact nighttime routine I use to program my subconscious mind for success, along with the scientific evidence that proves why it works. We're always told “be yourself” and “trust your gut.” And those things are still true! But sometimes, our body wants to take the path of least resistance, even if it won't help us grow. With the birth of my child approaching, I've been thinking a lot about abundance and trying to cultivate as much abundance as possible. As a business owner, the thoughts of “how am I going to continue growing me business and a child!?” definitely come up regularly. I'm sure you have your own limiting beliefs that bring that scarcity mindset into play. As one example of a way to break the pattern, I recently hopped off of a call and felt that sense of lack closing in. When I've felt this in the past, I've doubled down on work! But this time, I asked myself “what would abundant Yanet do?” And that led me to an unplanned coffee date with a friend that put me back in giving mode versus receiving. It's not always our first instincts that are the most expansive. As high-achievers, we're no strangers to discipline. But did you know that discipline without self-compassion just puts you in survival mode? So today, we're diving into the question: how can we find the balance between discipline and self-compassion? First, I want to reframe “falling off track.” So often, people look at falling off track as failure. But falling off track is part of the process of falling on track. If no one ever fell off track, we would all be perfect people. And that's just not the world we live in. We're living a life of experimentation and we must allow ourselves the experience of falling off track. For me, this brings meditation to mind. I like to have a ritual of meditating every day. But if I let the fact that I missed one day mean that I'm a failure, I would never meditate again. Self-compassion is the key element that gives you resilience in new pursuits. And the best way to access self-compassion is by putting some distance from outside sources so we can connect to ourselves. It can be so easy to get caught in the hamster wheel of life. We often forget to tap into abundance in the here and now! I remember hitting six figures in my business. For so long, that was the biggest goal. And guess what? As soon as I hit that goal, it was onto the next. Then, it became about hitting multiple six figures! What makes a rich life? When I say rich, I'm not just talking about what's in your bank. We really have to ask ourselves this question and think deeply about the pillars that might make up our rich life. For me, I think of three pillars that make up a rich life: health and wellness, family, and career. As women, I don't think we're conditioned to believe we can have it all. If we commit to our family, we're told we can't have a successful career. If we commit to our career, we're told we can't have a family. Why do you think men aren't so burdened with these choices? As women, we have to do some extra work to unlift these limiting beliefs and create the richest life possible. In this episode, we're chatting about:Why I'm focused on abundance this yearThe pillars that make up an abundant lifeWhat we need to do when we find ourselves constantly striving without celebrating current accomplishmentsWhy I'm so grateful to be living with my mother and fostering connection with my familyConnect with me: LinkedinWebsiteInstagramYanet helps high-achieving women gain the clarity, confidence, and courage to stop holding themselves back so they can go after what they want unapologetically.Schedule a free clarity call with Yanet to identify what's holding you back and develop an action plan to go after what you want unapologetically: https://www.ybcoaching.com/coachingSee coaching client testimonials here: https://www.ybcoaching.com/testimonials

If you feel resistance towards meditation, this episode is for you. I often hear people saying that meditation feels hard. They're bogged down by racing thoughts and sitting with them feels like an uphill battle. But here's meditation is a non-negotiable for me: by the age of 35, 95% of who we are is a repeated pattern of past thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. So moving throughout the world without conscious awareness of our patterns can dramatically hold us back. That's why my husband and I meditate every day, with one or two exceptions here and there. In order to up level, you've got to Break the Habit of Being Yourself. So how can you move through the resistance that your body might feel to meditation? The beauty of meditation is in the opportunity to take ourselves out of survival mode and transition into a creation state. What has you stuck in survival mode? This idea that meditation is too hard for you. Yes, it's going to feel hard. But we can do hard things! In the process of doing what feels “unnatural” to you, you'll become supernatural! This is how you create the life you deserve.
