 #201--The Imitation Game (2014). Thanks for joining us this week where we forget about reviewing this film and instead go on long tangents about the real life story upon which it was based.  But we did manage to "crack the code" on what situations Keira Knightley is permitted to be hot.

#202--Scent of a Woman (1992). HOOAH-lcome everybody to another episode after a long hiatus. This week we dive into HOOAH-L Pacino's Oscar winning performance as a crotchety old war vet who HOOs and AHs his way through wildly inappropriate adventures with his reluctant caretaker.

#203--The Exorcist (1973). We're back with one 'hell' of a movie! Join us as we try to stop Shane from making this movie into his version of Constantine.

#204--Dog Day Afternoon (1975). ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA! ATTICA!

#205--The Best Years of Our Lives (1946). This week we review the movie that beat out our previous movie at the Oscars (which isn't saying much). This film is about veterans, starring veterans, made by veterans, and now reviewed by veterans. If you're watching along and made it through this 3 hour-long ordeal of a movie, we thank you for your service!

#206--Brief Encounter (1945). This week we discuss relationships. Specifically railroad-based forbidden romances between less than stellar people, played by less than stellar people. But does it all amount to a less than stellar film?

#207--The Iron Giant (1999). This week we take a detour back into the world of animation, and to the world of Brad Bird. Find out if this film is a giant of Vin Diesel proportions; or if we nuke it down to the bottom of our lists.

#208--Out of the Past (1947). This week we're back in black and white as we return to Film Noir. It's also been a while since we hit on some really heavy hot button topics like taxes, tobacco use, and vaccinations so watch along!

#209--La La Land (2016). Strap in for another long one this week as we not only pretend to be movie reviewers; but also trained musicians. Did this Academy Award powerhouse tap dance its way into our hearts? Or fade away from relevance like a certain genre of music...

#210--The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). This week we tackle what was once the capstone of the renowned trilogy. It was truly the beginning of the end in more ways than one. Some might even say in more "Extreme Ways."

#211--12 Monkeys (1995). On this episode we discuss all the contemporary topics that have affected modern society including: pandemics, airport security, and the pervasive nature of homelessness among time travelers.

#212--Young Frankenstein (1974). This week we raise an old Mel Brooks classic from the dead, and try to piece together a coherent review. Also Shane talks about hair again.

#213--Zootopia (2016). This week we tackle hard hitting, and controversial social issues; and what better medium to do so than through children's animation!

#214--The Avengers (2012). This week your favorite reviewers assemble to review our first foray into the MCU. Was it a coincidence that this dropped the same year the world was supposed to end? In any case, sit back and enjoy the analysis of the film that one of us critics lovingly refer to as "Diarrhea Christmas Lights!"

#215--Blade Runner 2049 (2017). This week we find out if this movie sets a new baseline. Will it rise to the top? Or will it fall to the depths to be locked away? [cells] Which box will we put it in? #216--Jaws (1975). This week we go fishing to find out if this movie is a catch. Is this big fish a bigger fish than Big Fish? Tune in to find out, but don't be sharked when we rank this movie ourselves!

#217--JFK (1991). This week we set out to answer the age old question of: Did Gary Oldman kill Kennedy? We'll dig deep into the realm of conspiracies, and probably uncover some scary stuff. #218--The Wizard of Oz (1939). This week we compare and contrast psychedelic fever dreams with Hawaiian Folk music!

#219--Anatomy of a Murder (1959). Welcome to Working Title where we four intrepid, handsome, intelligent, and legally unqualified reviewers judge this film and litigate about controversial topics like: "Are lawyer's actually snakes?"

#220--Rain Man (1988). This "week" we are dealt a hand of proverbial Blackjack as we delve into a movie that is objectively not as good as Blood Diamond, but definitely better than Kind Hearts and Coronets.

#221--The Sound of Music (1965). We have once again gathered our Musical experts to answer your burning Musical questions such as: "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" and "Who sunk the Lusitania?" To our one listener from Austria, this one's for you!

#222--Magnolia (1999). In this episode we get froggy and try to find out if it did happen. Also, Shane calls a "Gentleman's Hotline."

#223--Dances With Wolves (1990). Three of us discuss this film's influence on cinema; while Shane pays homage to the set's hairdressers in an in-depth tirade about the impact of hair on film.

#224--Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949). This week we discuss a matter of some delicacy. This film is described as a British Dark Comedy. It is really only one of those three things.

#225--The Night of the Hunter (1955). Do you like thrillers, but don't like to be thrilled? Then this movie is for you! Listen along as we follow the escapades of two road warrior children as they run from LOVE and HATE.

#226--Blood Diamond (2006). Much like this film we introduce hard-hitting socioeconomic issues like DiCaprio's accent, and whether or not a taxi is a viable transportation option to a lucrative backdoor diamond transaction.

#227--The Incredibles (2004). If you don't like Pixar, we can't be friends. We also can't be friends unless we... well, you'll see.

#229--The King's Speech (2010). Listen along this week as we stammer through another movie and find out if it really speaks to us.

#230--The Martian (2015). Join us this week as we science the shit out of this movie. This is the first film in our Rescue Matt Damon series so pull out your salt shakers and science along with us!

#231--Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958). Do you guys like Tennessee Williams? So far, we don't either...

#231--Rio Bravo (1959). Starring John Wayne and Dean Martin. This is our first foray into the Western genre where we discuss relevant and riveting topics like the origins of Post Malone, and the influence of RoboCop on cinema.

#232--Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966). The plot keywords listed on IMDb for this film include: "alcohol," "drunken argument," "marital argument," and "professor." So if you're into any of those, then this one's for you! To fit the theme of the movie, take a drink every time Jack says "interesting!"

#233--The Last Picture Show (1971). A "coming of age" film about Jeff Bridges and the other guy, or some shit.

#234--Rope (1948). This week we rock out with our Hitchcock out, and get real nerdy about cinematography.

#235--Annie Hall (1977). The the the neurotic ramblings of a of a strange little man as as he navigates the the relationships in his in his life and complains about everything. (and no, we're not talking about Shane)

#236--Kill Bill: Vol.2 (2004). An interesting foray into the significance of prequels as we dive into the second volume of a series before seeing the first; at least for one of us.

#237--Fiddler on the Roof (1971).

This week we interrupt our semi-regularly scheduled programming to introduce the first of our Special Episode series. We thought to ourselves; there's a lot of good movies that didn't make this list. So naturally we had to fertilize the Top 250 with our own cinematic seeds. Listen, and hear our suggestions for movies that should be on the list, one of which we will review in a later Special!

#238--The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). This is Halloween... or is it Christmas? This is Tim Burton... but is it another Big Fish?

#239--Rosemary's Baby (1968). If selling your soul to the devil doesn't work, try selling a uterus instead!

#240--Short Term 12 (2013)--Captain Marvel and Freddie Mercury run a house for at-risk youth. They team up with an emo kid to destroy a car and commit several violations of professional ethics. Overall not too bad.

#241--Her (2013). I, for one, welcome our new sexbot overlords.

#242--Ratatouille (2007). This week we slow roast a Pixar classic!

#243--The Straight Story (1999). Directed by David Lynch, but somehow not traumatizing. There's no way to describe this movie other than to just summarize the plot. An old man drives a lawnmower across Iowa to visit his brother. Yup. That's it. Don't worry though, we have more to say about it.

#244--Sling Blade (1996), a heartwarming redemption tale about a man who befriends a young boy. Or maybe a sad tale about recidivism in Arkansas prisons. Who knows? Starring Billy Bob Thornton, French Fried Taters, and a lawnmower. Listen along as we smother this film in mustard.

#245--Sleuth (1972), not to be confused with the 2007 remake of the same name. This is one of those movies that relies completely on surprise plot twists to be good, so... spoiler alert or whatever. Starring Michael Caine and Laurence Olivier. As well as 4 other big name actors that definitely exist.

#246--Sin City (2005), yet another film noir. Will we ever escape these? We weren't sure... This was pretty good though. Featuring actors like Jessica Alba, Elijah Wood, the Peanut M&M, and Benicio Del Toro's semi-severed head.

#247--The Maltese Falcon (1946), starring Humphrey Bogart. How much do you know about dreams? Do you know what they're made of? The answer may surprise you...

#248--Big Fish (2003), join us as we leave the small pond of the 1950s behind, and swim through the rivers of discussion into the vast waters of the 21st Century.

#249--Touch of Evil (1958), by none other than Orson Welles. Part of our early binge (though not a binge by choice) on Film Noir.

#250--the bottom of the list. Stanley Kubrick's 1954 film The Killing. The start of it all for this podcast.
