Listen and Learn about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Article 26. 1. Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit. 2. Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace. 3. Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children. This episode features an interview with Human Rights Educator, Mr. Otis Day. Otis Daye has been in the field of education for over 13 years. He holds an interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict from Mount St. Vincent University, a Bachelor's degree in Education, and a Masters in Leadership and Administration with a focus on mental health both from Saint Francis Xavier University. Starting off as classroom support, Otis then shifted to help pilot the SchoolsPlus program before finally landing in the classroom as an elementary teacher. Otis is now the Student Equity Consultant for Halifax Regional Center for Education, in Nova Scotia Canada where he is dedicated to helping teachers, students and administrators understand the role that culture, race and human rights play in creating a positive and supportive school culture. Otis continues to advocate on behalf of students who have traditionally been disengaged in school and is passionate about finding new and creative ways to allow students to reach their full potential. Otis is supported by family which includes his wife and three children.
Choosing what to eat and not eat is entirely a matter of Christian freedom. Satisfaction is not what makes me satisfied but was required to be pleasing before the LORD. Satisfaction was made in full for your sins by Christ's cross and empty tomb (Romans 3:21-26). Christians do not do away with good traditions or dissuade people from bodily discipline for the good, yet these disciplines are done with the assurance of Christ's forgiveness and salvation. So go ahead, open up your grill and lean on Christ. “Not what I feel or do, Can give me peace with God; Not all my prayers and sighs and tears Can bear my awful load.” LSB #567 st. 2. Rev. As tempting as it may seem, people hate to be told what to do. It doesn't matter if it's your teen ager or your employee. Now, we all know there are times when we have to be prescriptive and give explicit direction on what needs to be done. But, in times of Churn, whenever possible, the approach of reminding people of what is important has a much deeper effect on influence and action. This episode will show you why and how to make it work for you. CONTEXT ON THIS SERIES In 1917, T.E. Lawrence, who you might know as Lawrence of Arabia overthrew the Ottoman Turks in WWI in modern-day Iraq and Syria, using strategic human connections at the local level. He did so by going into tribal environments and creating a level of trust that unified various tribes around one thing that they could all agree on through storytelling of ‘what could be.' He wanted to help others who followed behind him do the same so he wrote The 27 Articles to share with them. Scott has taken these Lawrencian skills and adapted them to the Rooftop Leadership methodology and in this series will share the 27 Waterline Articles for the Rooftop Leader with you so that you are better equipped to lead through the disengagement, distrust, and distraction brought on by prolonged isolation, low trust, and uncertainty. If you'll lean into these and integrate them into your life and business, you will be more attuned to the people you lead and be able to look at human behavior in a new way that allows you to lead at a higher level. Listen about Article 26 & 27 of Indian Constitution...
"A sad irony of life in contemporary America is that large numbers of people who devote a great deal of time, effort, and money to get into fictional alternate worlds, while at the same time, most Americans seem unable or unwilling to devote much effort to better understanding the religious worlds of their fellow citizens. Thus, many Americans spend hundreds of hours watching and reading about fictional worlds, yet know very little about the religious worlds of their neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family members. "This can have real-world consequences. Religious hate crimes, particularly against minority faiths, are increasing. FBI data indicate that hate crimes against Muslims rose 67% between 2014 and 2015 and the first quarter of 2017 showed 541 anti-Semitic incidents including 161 bomb threats. Of course, very few will think about or perpetrate hate crimes, but our qualitative data likewise confirm that many members of religious minorities experience various forms of misunderstanding, bias, and discrimination. Our experience and observations have convinced us that as most people learn about the religious beliefs, practices, cultures, and experiences of their fellow citizens they become better friends, neighbors, and family members." Loren Marks reads the article, "Strengths in Diverse American Families of Faith" which was originally published in Public Square Magazine on June 17, 2021.

That can make continuing a college education or pursuing your career path difficult. Article 26 Backpack allows users to create a safe place in the cloud to store documents free of charge. The program is run by UC Davis professor Keith Watenpaugh and requires just a cellphone and email. "Americans, we always think our documents will never be lost always be stored and we know that's not the case even for us," said Watenpaugh. More than 2,000 people, including many Ukrainians, are using Backpack. But, as the situation in Ukraine becomes direr, the push is on to make sure even more Ukrainian students and professionals get access. That's where you come in. Short communication: Economic impact among 7 reproductive programs for lactating dairy cows, including a sensitivity analysis of the cost of hormonal treatments Find the Big 3 Infographic at otovets.com/cuttingedge Link: https://www.journalofdairyscience.org/article/S0022-0302(20)30275-7/fulltext Big Take Away #1: Improving fertility and breeding efficiency of our dairies can be accomplished via three methods; improved detection of estrus, synchronization of estrus and synchronization of ovulation and timed AI as proven by many different authors. Big Take Away #2: To prove their work the authors used the DairyRepro$ tool form UW-Cornell. Available online after a simple search you can do the same analysis with your own numbers they did! This tool allows you to input all your operations reproductive parameters, drugs costs, labor costs and any other reproductive inputs you could imagine. Big Take Away #3 Ricci found that using Double-Ovsynch over these other Presynch programs it would obtain a $42 dollar greater profit per cow per year than a baseline Presynch-Ovsynch with 35% conception rate and no cherry picking. The next closest program used the automated heat detection system in conjunction with Presynch and that came in at more than 50% less profit than Double-Ovsynch with PGF. Ultimate Message: All that said OTO’er ultimately it comes down to this….can you get a big enough conception rate bump to justify the switch? Many times, the only change to reproduction a dairy will make will be the first breeding program; so use this DairyRepro$ tool to facilitate this discussion. This is the true reason I brought you this article. Objective: This study had 2 major objectives: (1) to analyze the profitability of an intensive reproductive program involving more injections (i.e., Double Ovsynch) compared with less intensive ones (Presynch-Ovsynch) in different geographic areas (i.e., the United States and Europe) depending on variation of hormonal treatment costs, and (2) to estimate how high the cost of hormonal treatments would have to be to render intensive synchronization programs unprofitable. Location: University of Torino and University of Wisconsin-Madison Methods: A reproductive economic analysis simulation model was used to compare the economic impact of pairs of reproductive management programs. We simulated sets of scenarios for 2 analyses. In the first analysis, we calculated the economic impact of switching from a Presynch-Ovsynch program to a Double-Ovsynch program that included a second PGF2α treatment during the Breeding-Ovsynch portion of the program (Double-Ovsynch+PGF). In the second analysis, we conducted a break-even analysis in which the cost of hormonal treatments was incrementally increased within various reproductive management programs.
