Bonus Stop: Edzel Ford's home, son of Henry Ford! After touring Greenfield Village I decided I wanted to go to a bonus stop instead of another day at Greenfield Village. I was stunned by the outward aesthetic similarities of the Stan Hywet mansion. My wheels were spinning and memories flooded my mind from all the visits I had going to Stan Hywet from going with my mom to even working there. Railroads The Stan Hywet mansion is located in Akron, OH, my hometown, the “Rubber Capitol of the WORLD”! I shared a lot about the history of Firestone and Goodyear, who used a lot of rubber making tires, in this episode. But on this day of my fieldtrip, I thought about what made Ford so successful? It was making the gasoline engine car affordable for more people, specifically farmers. I gave a little background on Rockefeller and Vanderbilt too to prove my point of “access equals success”. And remember in the other homes the extensive libraries? Access to education and knowledge, right? And you know what made those two successful? The railroads because it provided transportation and access to more products and places. They were able to get their products to more people. And what do you think gave the North the upper hand in the Civil War? The railroads because they could transport supplies. And the other thing that made Ford so successful was his ability to pay his employees a higher pay than other companies. He was making more profit therefore able to pay his employees a higher rate. I couldn't help but to think about Eleanor Ford's role (Edzel's wife) in their home. She lived for 35 years still after Edzel passed. She had a sitting room off of her bedroom upstairs, that she turned into her study. She ran her household manager responsibilities from that study. And although she wasn't fond of the entertainment wing, she knew it was expected of her to entertain. She was very philanthropic and sat on many boards. But she was the queen of productivity. You see she would have multiple board meetings going at one time and then she could just pop in and out as they were being conducted. Genius! Internet Just like railroads were the gateway to transporting goods and people, now Google, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft transport information. And just like the Goodyears and Rockefellers could get their products to more people, it is the same way I can impact more lives. They have been able to be really successful in a shorter amount of time than before the internet and able to provide better benefits for their employees due to their success. Organize 365® could not be what it is today without the internet. It gets more products to more people. It provides a more level playing field because it is accessible to all. And it has allowed me to learn about business and manufacturing. And because of the internet … we have podcasts! Yet another avenue to learn and/or get your message out. I always like to think of how women made their mark on change in society through their uniqueness. Artificial Intellagance I don't even know what to do with AI! (sigh) As technology advances so too does our ability for everyone to be successful due to a more level playing field for small businesses. Technology, transportation, and information provides access to more education. I wanted to take this series to think about where we have been as women, how it is now as women, and where we are going for women. What change could you have on society by doing what you are uniquely created to do? EPISODE RESOURCES: The Sunday Basket® Sign Up for the Organize 365® Newsletter Did you enjoy this episode? What does it mean to cry with God—and be healed by our tears? In this episode of Everything Belongs, we explore Chapter 7 of Richard Rohr's The Tears of Things, called The Alchemy of Tears: How We Learn Universal Sympathy and Grace, which focuses on the "gift of tears" as a sacred pathway to healing and transformation. At Richard's hermitage, co-hosts Mike Petrow and Paul Swanson discuss how grief, when honored, connects us to divine sadness and invites us into deeper compassion. Later, Mike and Carmen Acevedo Butcher are joined by Jungian psychotherapist, Rabbi Tirzah Firestone, to explore how we metabolize trauma and grief, heal intergenerational wounds, and move from pathologizing pain to putting it in service of love and justice. Thanks to our Partners, NAPA Auto Care and NAPA TRACS Watch Full Video Episode Chris Cotton's latest venture into shop ownership puts his coaching philosophy to the ultimate test, and the results speak volumes. Episode Highlights: Shop Acquisition and Rapid Payoff: Despite once saying he'd never own a shop again, Chris purchased Firestone of Durango about a year ago, calling it “too good of a deal to pass up.” Planned as a three-year owner-financed purchase, he paid it off in just six months. Profitability and Growth: With a 31% net profit (compared to the industry average of 5–8%), the shop's success reflects the very systems Chris teaches. Advertising and Expansion: Spending roughly $10K per month, Chris follows his mantra: “Advertise for the shop you want to be, not the shop you are.” He prioritizes Local Service Ads (LSAs). Operations and Staffing: Chris rejects the idea of a “technician shortage,” noting great shops attract great people. Coaching in Action: Chris practices what he preaches: action based learning, accountability, and focusing on fundamentals like proper pricing before chasing more customers. For owners eyeing an eventual exit, he advises cleaning up financials 3–5 years in advance and building a business that thrives without daily owner involvement. A silent danger lurks within the descending thoracic aorta. While most Type B aortic dissections are managed medically, up to half of these patients will either require life-saving surgery or die within just five years. So how do we separate those who will quietly recover from those on the edge of catastrophe? How do we protect the spinal cord, bowel, and limbs from the devastating consequences of malperfusion? Join the University of Michigan Department of Vascular Surgery as they tackle the high-stakes decisions behind managing this unpredictable disease—where timing is critical, interventions are evolving, and lives hang in the balance. Hosted by the University of Michigan Department of Vascular Surgery: · Robert Beaulieu, Program Director · Frank Davis, Assistant Professor of Surgery · Luciano Delbono, PGY-5 House Officer · Andrew Huang, PGY-4 House Officer · Carolyn Judge, PGY-2 House Officer Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss general approach to diagnosis and management of TBAD. 2. Identifying high-risk features in uncomplicated TBAD and understanding their role in determining the need for surgical management. 3. Review endovascular techniques for managing malperfusion of the limbs, viscera, and spinal cord and discuss associated decision making. In the early 1920s, Americans owned 80 percent of the world's automobiles and consumed 75 percent of the world's rubber. But only one percent of the world's rubber grew under the U.S. flag, creating a bottleneck that hampered the nation's explosive economic expansion. To solve its conundrum, the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company turned to a tiny West African nation, Liberia, founded in 1847 as a free Black republic. Empire of Rubber: Firestone's Scramble for Land and Power in Liberia (New Press, 2021) tells a sweeping story of capitalism, racial exploitation, and environmental devastation, as Firestone transformed Liberia into America's rubber empire. Historian and filmmaker Gregg Mitman scoured remote archives to unearth a history of promises unfulfilled for the vast numbers of Liberians who toiled on rubber plantations built on taken land. Mitman reveals a history of racial segregation and medical experimentation that reflected Jim Crow America—on African soil. As Firestone reaped fortunes, wealth and power concentrated in the hands of a few elites, fostering widespread inequalities that fed unrest, rebellions and, eventually, civil war. A riveting narrative of ecology and disease, of commerce and science, and of racial politics and political maneuvering, Empire of Rubber uncovers the hidden story of a corporate empire whose tentacles reach into the present. Dr. Firestone is the coauthor of numerous articles and book chapters and has written several books with her father, Robert Firestone, including The Self Under Siege, Conquer Your Critical Inner Voice, Creating a Life of Meaning and Compassion, and Sex and Love in Intimate Relationships. Her extensive clinical training and research in the areas of suicide and violence have led to the development of several widely used assessments, including the Firestone Assessment of Self-Destructive Thoughts (FAST), the Firestone Assessment of Suicide Intent (FASI), and the Firestone Assessment of Violent Thoughts (FAVT), applied with both adults and adolescents. In this insightful conversation, Dr. Firestone explores how reframing our relationship with stress can transform our quality of life, presence, and performance. If you've ever wanted to transform the way you think about stress—and learn how to make it work for you instead of against you—this episode is a must-listen. She explains that “we're all going to experience stress in our lives, but when we shift our mindset about it, our entire experience changes. Stress isn't just one thing—it's how we perceive it. If we see it as exciting and challenging, our bodies respond very differently than if we see it as overwhelming or life-threatening.” Dr. Firestone challenges the common misconception that mindset work is simply about “thinking positively.” She notes that “mindset isn't about tricking ourselves into thinking positively—it's about changing how our nervous system responds. If you interpret a situation as dangerous, your body goes into fight-or-flight or even shutdown mode. But if you see it as a challenge, you can overcome it. It can be motivating, energizing, and even improve your performance.” One of her favorite techniques for reframing stress is surprisingly simple. “Replacing the word ‘stress' with ‘challenge' can be powerful. A challenge is something you can choose to take on, approach with curiosity, and even decide to walk away from. That simple reframe reminds us that we have agency, and that we can choose how we respond.” She also shares practical wisdom for building resilience over time. “We can train ourselves to respond differently to stress. That means growing our ability to handle it with self-compassion, preparing where we can, and letting go of what we can't control. The more flexible and adaptable we are, the more we expand our boundaries—and the better we perform in all areas of life.” You can learn more about Dr. Lisa Firestone's work at www.drlisafirestone.com, www.psychalive.org, and www.glendon.org. Shoot us a Text.Description: Episode #1096: We cover GM's shift away from EVs at Orion, the end of a 112-year family legacy at Ohio's oldest Ford dealership, and how new AI tools are challenging the finance industry's most iconic software.Show Notes with links:General Motors is officially reversing course at its Orion Assembly plant, which had been idled since late 2023 for a planned conversion to electric vehicle production. Instead, the automaker now says the factory will build gas-powered versions of the Escalade, Silverado, and Sierra starting in 2027.Originally, Orion was to build EV versions of the Silverado and Sierra, aligning with GM's electrification strategy.Production was delayed twice amid shifting consumer sentiment and cost considerations. The move is part of a broader $4 billion investment across three plants to increase output of gasoline-powered vehicles.GM cited “continued strong customer demand” for ICE models as the driver behind the pivot.“These moves will further strengthen our manufacturing footprint,” GM said, reaffirming its commitment to Michigan manufacturing. After 112 years under Chapman family stewardship, Ohio's oldest Ford dealership has been sold to Coughlin Automotive, marking the end of a storied chapter in Marysville.Originally opened by grocer George Butler Chapman in Plain City in 1913, Bob Chapman Ford was one of the first Ford dealers in Ohio, selling Model TsOver four generations, the Chapman family expanded: new facilities in 1918, 1935, and 1978, plus ventures into Firestone stores, Chryslers, RVs, even founding local airports The current 28,000-square-foot facility includes 24 service bays, a Quick Lane center and proudly displays an original Model T on its showroom floor as a nod to its century‑plus legacyJoe Chapman described the sale as “one of the most emotional and important decisions of my life,” praising Coughlin's deep respect for the dealership's legacy and community roots.New AI platforms like Claude and Perplexity are digging into the finance world, offering powerful features that could make Bloomberg's industry standard $25K-a-year terminal feel outdated.Claude now combines real-time market data with internal company info to answer complex questions instantly—no more juggling multiple systems. It can run simulations, build trading models, and handle huge documents without analysts hitting roadblocks.Major firms like Bridgewater, AIG, and Norway's sovereign wealth fund are already seeing big productivity boosts.Perplexity targets a broader market with tools starting at $0, offering fast research summaries, stock comparisons, and even crypto integrations through Coinbase.Join Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier every morning for the Automotive State of the Union podcast as they connect the dots across car dealerships, retail trends, emerging tech like AI, and cultural shifts—bringing clarity, speed, and people-first insight to automotive leaders navigating a rapidly changing industry.Get the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/
Joe Schafranek is an Account Manager at Tread Partners, a marketing agency focused on the tire and auto repair industry. With roots in Detroit and hands-on shop experience at Firestone and Big O, Joe brings a unique perspective to digital marketing through his understanding of both operations and data. Prior to Tread Partners, he helped grow BAIC and explored data-centric roles in the auto aftermarket. Today, Joe leverages that diverse background to help multi-location shops increase car count through performance-driven strategies. In this episode… Marketing in the auto repair industry often feels confusing and inconsistent, especially for multi-location shop owners. With so many digital channels and buzzwords, it's hard to know what's actually driving car count and boosting business. How can tire dealers make smarter marketing decisions based on data and results, not guesswork? According to Joe Schafranek of Tread Partners, it starts by focusing on transparency and measurable results. Joe leverages his real-world shop experience and data expertise to help clients improve performance using tailored PPC campaigns, SEO strategy, and localized promotions. He emphasizes the importance of tying marketing activity directly to car count and revenue growth — not just impressions or traffic. On this episode of Gain Traction, Mike Edge welcomes Joe Schafranek for a conversation about data-driven marketing in the tire and auto repair space. Joe explains how to tie marketing efforts directly to car count and revenue, why transparency matters, and how shop owners can avoid wasting budget on ineffective campaigns. He also shares a case study on how a $250 Facebook ad led to $22K Saturdays. Here's a glimpse of what you'll learn: [03:48] How hockey and family life shaped Joe Schafranek's community involvement [06:34] Lessons Joe learned from managing Big O franchise stores in Arizona [07:43] Joe's transition into digital marketing and data roles [10:37] Why revenue isn't always the best indicator of marketing success [12:23] The importance of new customer acquisition for long-term growth [18:52] How experience helps Joe prevent clients from wasting ad spend [19:58] What excites Joe most about working in marketing for tire dealers? Resources mentioned in this episode: Joe Schafranek on LinkedIn Tread Partners BAIC Global TJ White on LinkedIn Tire Source Mike Edge on LinkedIn Quotable Moments "You don't know what you don't know — there's a whole world of discovery out there every day." "The best campaigns are the ones that fill your bays, not just your inbox." "Marketing success should be tied to car count and revenue, not just clicks and impressions." "Transparency works both ways — clients should know what's working, and we need to know how it's executed." "Even small campaigns, like a $250 Facebook ad, can have huge returns if done right." Action Steps Rethink how you measure marketing ROI: Focus on car count and specific service conversions, not just traffic or impressions. Run local Facebook ads to test promotions: Try low-cost campaigns targeting service-specific offers to boost visibility and appointments. Invest in transparency with your marketing team: Share performance data both ways — ad results and in-shop execution. Use digital tools to track campaign effectiveness: Leverage reporting that ties ads to phone calls, form fills, and actual sales. Target new customer acquisition regularly: Offset the average 15% annual shrinkage by always growing your base strategically. Sponsor for this episode... This episode is brought to you by Tread Partners. At Tread Partners, we provide digital marketing for multi-location tire dealers and auto repair shops. By using our strategy, branding, and marketing services, we help shops sell more tires and put more cars in bays. In this academic-themed interview episode of Decoding the Gurus, Matt and Chris sit down to chat with Dorsa Amir and Chaz Firestone (@chazfirestone) about their recent paper 'Is Visual Perception WEIRD? The Müller-Lyer Illusion and the Cultural Byproduct Hypothesis.'In a conversation that serves as a welcome tonic to the endless lamentations of the gurus about academic groupthink and closed-minded silos, Dorsa and Chaz discuss the interdisciplinary nature of their work, debates around universal vs. culturally specific psychology, and the strength of evidence that visual perception varies between cultures. It would be a rookie error to not start today's podcast by talking about the superstar Minjee Lee's fantastic win in Texas, surely a hall of fame position is a lock (down the track), what a gun. That said it wasn't all smooth sailing, some bogies early in the last round, but a great recovery, and Jeeno Thitikul on the hunt right behind her. Scores were quite high, due to weather and the course, but the play was slower than ideal.Nick has been watching Minjee's putting, and says it was insane how good she was. Mark not a fan of the course saying he has 'never seen a worse looking course on TV'., and that it did not look like a course prepared to hold a major.But....Tommy Fleetwood. We all wanted him to get there, but he fell at the final hurdle, and Mark has an acronym 'ABK', meaning 'Anyone But Keegan'. Which he describes as this: if you are going to lose the lead late in a tournament, you have to lose it to anyone but Keegan Bradley. Reasonable. Nick and Mark both said Tommy's press conference afterwards was classy, and handled very well.On Keegan, the Ryder Cup. Can a player/captain work? Nick and Mark say it's difficult, and Nick explains why being captain is so hard.Nick saw a video of Scotty Scheffler over the weekend that he loved, on what fans want to see - we play a bit of it and discuss. After the turn, Nick runs through the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia schedule, there is one particular addition Nick is excited about and says he may look to play in. Mark has some news on the makeup of Royal Melbourne Composite for the Australian Open.Top 5 today is fun, Mark gives his 5 most famous quotes in golf and Nick has to identify who said it....Nick got 5/5 , play along and see how you go. During the Top 5, Nick and Mark each tell (different) stories about Tour Pro Retief Goosen.PING Globals are big today, and Mark admits he has been playing the old intro music at home....a little strange? We thought so too. During the PING Globals, Mark tells a very funny story about Tour Pro Mike Harwood playing against Greg Norman at Firestone and being heckled in an amusing way.Feedback - comments on Minjee's win, and lots of comments on the Wyndham Clark discussion last week, including one wolfpacker who gets on Nick's nerves, with Nick saying that this listener 'has no clue what he's talking about'. Ouch.Following Nick and Marks Top 5 courses in the world last week, wolfpacker Tony from Brisbane sent in the Top 5 courses that he has played....it's a pretty impressive list! And wolfpacker Sean O'Brien has found a video that he thinks Mark will get worked up, we play it live on the pod. It has to do with the investigation into the dodgy Top 100 list.....and Mark says he will have a 'name' of the person responsible for the St Andrews inclusion, and will 'out them' on the podcast next week.Nick's turn for the masterclass and today it's on Minjee's swing....worth a look! We're live from Titleist and FootJoy HQ thanks to our great partners:Titleist, the #1 ball in golf;FootJoy, the #1 shoe and glove in golf;PING will help you play your best. This is an episode full of Friday whimsy, covering the Chicago Cubs, Wyndham Clark's antics, Sheriff Scottie's department expanding, and more. Andy and Brendan run through an "apology" from Wyndham in the aftermath of destroying a locker at Oakmont and how he turned this moment into a plea for a spot on the Ryder Cup team. The two also discuss Scottie Scheffler's comments from Wednesday's press conference at the Travelers regarding what he considers a "fair test" on the PGA Tour. Speaking of the Travelers, Jordan Speith withdrew with a new injury and Adam Schefter took over Thursday's broadcast with some insane PGA-NFL comparisons. Leaderboard updates are provided for the Women's PGA Championship and Champs Tour at Firestone, where PJ's pick of Thomas Bjorn is fighting for dead last. To wrap up this episode, Brendan chats with Viktor Hovland about Brian Rolapp, Jay Monahan, Oakmont, and his favorite fruit.
Will Power is the King of Qualifying! He extended his all-tme record in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES when he earned career pole number 71 at World Wide Technology Raceway (WWTR) near St. Louis. During the media luncheon at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, I was able to sit down with Power and ask him about his secrets of success to qualifying. He explains how difficult it is and what it takes to get it right. He also explains what it takes to get the Firestone alternate tire in the right window to maximize the lap. Enjoy!NOTE: Unfortunately, a punctured tire deflated Power's chances for a victory at WWTR. He made contact with the wall and that ended his night.
Andy and Brendan are back home after a week in Pittsburgh (which some have called the No. 1 city in Ohio) and begin this episode with some U.S. Open cleanup. They double back on some takes from Sunday's show regarding J.J. Spaun possibly being a "flukey winner" and the Sam Burns rule situation on the 15th hole of Sunday's round. After closing up shop on Oakmont, attention turns to Tuesday's announcement of Brian Rolapp as the first-ever CEO of the PGA Tour. Andy and Brendan run through Rolapp's background as a longtime NFL executive and discuss the plan to "sunset" Jay Monahan at the end of 2026. Picks for this week's Travelers Championship are made, with the added bonus of new headset microphones in rotation! There's some Don Rea chatter ahead of the KPMG Women's PGA in Frisco and more men's major championship golf is on your televisions this weekend at the Kaulig Companies Championship at Firestone. Be sure to tune in to CBS Sports Network on Wednesday for the debut of "Eye on Golf" at Noon ET!
On Episode 40 of Mindful Warrior Radio, we welcome Dr. Lisa Firestone — Clinical Psychologist, Director of Research and Education at the Glendon Association, and Senior Editor at PsychAlive.org. Dr. Firestone is the coauthor of numerous articles and book chapters and has written several books with her father, Robert Firestone, including The Self Under Siege, Conquer Your Critical Inner Voice, Creating a Life of Meaning and Compassion, and Sex and Love in Intimate Relationships. Her extensive clinical training and research in the areas of suicide and violence have led to the development of several assessments, including the Firestone Assessment of Self-Destructive Thoughts (FAST), the Firestone Assessment of Suicide Intent (FASI), and the Firestone Assessment of Violent Thoughts (FAVT), which are used with both adults and adolescents. In this insightful conversation, Dr. Firestone explores the impact of attachment styles on leadership and working relationships. She outlines the characteristics of each attachment style and offers tools for managing and understanding our own patterns. She also emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, mindfulness, and compassion in the process of personal and professional growth. Dr. Firestone explains, “We didn't develop [our attachment style] as a choice. What we did was make the best adaptation we could to what was there, and that happened as our nervous system was still forming. So it is in our brain, it's in our bones—it's part of us. But we need to be kind to ourselves about it. We came by it honestly. We might even disapprove of a behavior, like being too harsh on people, but beating ourselves up doesn't help. It really helps to have what a dear friend and colleague of mine calls a ‘COAL' attitude—Curious, Open, Accepting, and Loving. That's what people might call self-compassion.” Dr. Firestone adds, “We all get triggered at times. It doesn't matter what type of attachment we have—even if it's secure. Something can bring up a feeling that dysregulates us. But the healthier our attachment is, the more we can say, ‘Oh, okay—I got dysregulated,' and then do something to regulate ourselves and repair.” On healing and transformation, she shares, “Everything in life will go better if you start to resolve some of that unresolved trauma. People want a quick fix or a way around it, but we really have to walk through it. And I think that's true for all of us. Again—with a kind attitude. This didn't happen for no reason. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. It means you had a rough beginning.” You can learn more about Dr. Lisa Firestone's work at www.drlisafirestone.com, www.psychalive.org, and www.glendon.org. What do you do when the world shuts down 10 days after you launch your dream business? In today's episode of the Leaders Across America podcast, Steve Acorn catches up with Simon Fraser, a standout leader in the Young Entrepreneurs Across America program back in 2013-2015, and now the founder of Headlamp Studios, a Utah-based video production company. Simon first joined YEAA as a student at Ohio State, running a $60K branch his rookie year and scaling to over $750K in sales as a GM. But this conversation is about what came next—and how he built a business (and a life) from the ground up. Simon opens up about leaving his job at a video company in Charleston, moving across the country, and launching Headlamp just before the pandemic hit. He shares what it was like to go from freelance survival to leading a team of 15+ contractors, working with brands like Microsoft and Aspen Valley Hospital, and producing documentaries that light him up creatively. He also reflects on how the YEAA program gave him more than skills—it gave him the mindset to keep going when things got hard. From sharing a Jeep Wrangler with his brother to building a values-first creative agency, Simon's story is packed with practical insight, honesty, and inspiration for anyone trying to create something meaningful on their own terms. If you've enjoyed this episode of the Leaders Across America podcast, be sure to leave a review and subscribe today! Enjoy! In This Episode You'll Learn: How Simon started over in a new city—and new industry—during COVID Why being scrappy early on taught him to lead with creativity, not ego How he scaled Headlamp Studios while staying true to his values Why entrepreneurship isn't about speed, but about staying in the game The surprising ways the YEAA program still shows up in Simon's business Why self-awareness might be the most important skill you gain in this program Why Simon chose flexibility and fulfillment over fast growth And much more… Guest Bio: Simon Fraser is the founder and CEO of Headlamp Studios, a creative video production company based in Utah. A graduate of the Young Entrepreneurs Across America program, Simon scaled his student painting business to over $240K before joining the YEAA team full-time. After a few years in commercial video, he launched Headlamp Studios in 2020, where he leads a team of contractors and creatives producing ads, brand films, and documentaries for clients like Microsoft, Firestone, and Aspen Valley Hospital. Simon's work has been featured in multiple film festivals, and his company is known for its grassroots, story-first approach. Most people fear a $43 million debt. Harvey Firestone called it “invigorating.” When his company faced collapse in 1920 and his executives panicked, Firestone seized control. He fired the sales manager, slashed prices 25%, and personally ran the sales department. It worked—not because he managed through fear, but through clarity. Firestone was the founder of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company—an outsider who built one of America's iconic industrial empires by doing the opposite of what everyone else did. This episode isn't about tires. It's about how Firestone quietly built one of the great businesses of the 20th century by asking two deceptively simple questions: Is it necessary? Can it be simplified? This episode breaks down the invisible principles behind Firestone's success: positioning over talent, inputs over outcomes, discipline over drama. If you lead a team or simply want to lead yourself better, this story is a masterclass in building enduring advantages. This episode is for informational purposes only and is based on Men and Rubber: The Story of Business by Harvey Firestone.
