208: Starting A New YouTube Channel From Scratch With Neil From Urban Explorer This week we are joined by Neil from the Urban Explorer YouTube Channel. About Neil My name is Neil im from liverpool englang and for the past 10 years I've been building camper vans at home. It all started of from a young age where my love of the outdoors was found from camping with my Aunt and Uncle Joyce & Tommy. I got the spirit and freedom of the outdoors when they took me away with them in there caravan. As the years went on, i gained qualifications in mounting leading , mountain rescue , out door survival and many climbing awards to enable me to take friends family and groups of people out climbing during all this time I was camping and going from place to place, even if it was just for the night. I would hop in the car with whatever camping stuff I had and I'd be happy just to be out of the city and in nature. After many tents and caravans, I decided it was time to build my own camper van! There is something magical about building your own camper; you get a sense of pride in every job you undertake. And you get to learn so many new skills. I'm not a trained mechanic, I just feel the need to fix make and maintain things. I think anyone can be a jack-of-all-trades and anyone can build there own camper van. You don’t need to go over the top. It's all a case of what works for YOU. There is no right nor wrong way of doing things and there is plenty of places you can go to for inspiration tips and advice. That was my reason for starting on YouTube, so i could pass on the knowledge to other people and if I could help just one person then I'd be happy. Creating videos has given me more of a challenge than I every imagined, but has made me some of the best friends life could bring, from all over the world as well. 203: Making Sure You Are Sharing Accurate Information With Danielle Jones This week we are joined by Danielle Jones from the Mama Doctor Jones YouTube Channel. About Danielle and Her Channel Dr. Danielle Jones, known online as “Mama Doctor Jones,” is a practicing Ob/Gyn, mom to 4 young kiddos, and digital content creator. With a passion for humor, science, education, and work-life balance, she created her YouTube channel in January of 2019 as a creative outlet where those 4 passions could overlap (and hopefully help fight medical misinformation in the process). She truly appreciates the close-knit community on YouTube and hopes to continue building a place for people to come for entertainment and leave a bit more informed about their health.
