Living in the city we all become “Urban Explorer's”, some times it's hiking trailing or maybe driving out to country side at national park or in the case of the Cannibal Kids, exploring abandoned scary as hell places while just a little high. Miami is known for it's white-sand beaches, non-stop nightlife, warm weather and Mormon fashion! — there's been a crime, call Miami Vice! Their latest track Jeans opens with the lyrics “Maybe it's time that I open up, a pair of jeans just to say what's up!” Opening your jeans for love can be scary. But don't worry, the track Falling in Love at Wii Sports Resort, has a great synth pop beat, you can feel the Miami sun warming your Banana Boat covered skin on South Beach while sipping a cocktail. Dolly Parton said "Love is something sent from heaven to worry the hell out of you.” well according to the Cannibal Kids — the future is digital, fall in love with a computer but only if you have a high speed fiber internet or the Love Connection will be disconnected. This pandemic has got us anxious and questioning our sanity at the same time. Hobbies are a great way to release stress; try switching the stickers on your Rubric's Cube because you can't solve the puzzle, untangling an unlimited number of Yo-Yo knots and reliving your former Dungeon and Dragons memories or start the Bedroom Pop Tour on Youtube. Welcome to another episode of Hidden In The Shadows and on this week's episode we are diving full force with an episode all about the concept of Poltergeist Haunts! Going into this episode Isaac and I thought we were pretty knowledgeable about what exactly a poltergeist haunt consists of but we were wrong...well...not completely wrong but there was more to this type of haunt then we thought. The actual definition of a poltergeist haunt is a ghost or other supernatural being supposedly responsible for physical disturbances such as loud noises and objects thrown around. Even though it's a vague definition there is so much more to this type of haunt. In this episode we discuss theories, our own personal experiences, important cases such as the Enfield Poltergeist (which was loosely conceptualized in the Conjuring 2 movie) and how the legend of the Bell Witch was technically a poltergeist case. We dive into the theories behind how these haunts start, what happens during and the after resolution!
