Our second Year In Review show features a spicy host lineup of Freeza Chin, Chippy Nonstop, Sonja and Sir Real. An in-depth discussion about their favourite producers, DJs and music moments of 2019 as well as sharing some of the artists and labels they’re checking for in 2020.
Chippy Nonstop truly embodies her alias. A curator, radio host, community organizer, DJ, performer, content creator and more. Born in the Middle East and then finding herself travelling around the world due to her father’s job, she ended up in Oakland, California where she spent her formative years. A widely publicized deportation ordeal would lead her to Toronto where she joined a creative community hungry for new. In our conversation we chat about her journey to present, the art of DJing, building community and her DJ workshop series, Intersessions.
