Pastor Josh McPherson tackles one of the most pressing cultural issues of our time—transgenderism. He uncovers the lies our society has believed about gender identity, self-expression, and the body, and confronts them with biblical truth. Divided into two parts, the sermon first examines the cultural ideology and historical roots of transgenderism, then gently speaks to those struggling personally with gender confusion, offering the hope and healing found in Jesus Christ. If you have questions that you would like Pastor Josh to answer on a podcast, send them in here: https://us10.list-manage.com/survey?u=e56b1c573d4107e366e1696df&id=054358ea35Support the showThanks for listening! We are keeping our tradition of making our first post of the new year about Sailor Moon. That ep, about the debatably trans Sailor Starlights, is now live on Patreon — at $1 for subscribers but it can also be purchased for $3 for non-subscribers. But we're putting last year's Sailor Moon ep, about the villain Fisheye, on the main feed. Important note: Due to recent political events, we're giving all of our Patreon proceeds for this month to the Transgender Law Center. “Shadow of Evil: The Trio's Last Chance” (September 23, 1995) It's a new year, and you're getting a new Sailor Moon. This time, we are focusing on Fisheye, a henchman villain from the fourth season who defies categorization both in terms of his gender performance and his status as a bad guy. This one is all over the place in the best possible way, and might be the closest to a true anti-Sailor Moon the series ever gets. Seriously, we love this goofy weirdo and who he gets more of an arc than anyone else does this season. We gave Fisheye the Leon Carp treatment, and this episode also examines the following other episodes: Meeting of Destiny: The Night Pegasus Dances (s4e1), Forest of Illusion: A Beautiful Fairy's Invitation (s4e10), We Love Fashion: The Stylish Guardians (s4e13), Become a Prima: Usagi's Ballet (s4e18) and Mirrors of Dreams: The Amazon's Last Stage (s4e22). Also listen to our previous Sailor Moon episodes: The Cartoons That Made Us Gay: Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Meets a Lesbian Couple.

Saying God is genderless with a straight face? (No pun)-Is it mathematically possible for both debaters to lose a debate? For all of the people saying that Billy Carson got destroyed, this clip from Wesley Huff demonstrates where sectarianism went into Biff's alternate 1980s timeline. Not only that...Wesley determines exactly how this apostasy occurred. This video points out two main ideas:1) The Creedalist Gospel went woke WAY before the culture did-God identifies using male gender pronouns, but His gender doesn't match His sex -"We" have never argued that God is male. Who is we??2) It's true because someone decided it was true-Historical Christianity-Historical Biblical Christianity -Biblical Historical Orthodox Christianity-Biblical Christianity Carries no authority except what they give themselves through repetition, consensus, and tradition. These are not arbiters of truth and its foolish to cite them as such. These terms are pressure-loaded with assumptions about their own validity, but they demonstrate how error becomes codified over time.Whether you're interested in history, religion, or lively debates, let me know what you think in the comments.EPISODE LINKS:Source Video from Capturing Apostasy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iovwFPZM7dg&t=1s PODCAST LINKS:Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/halestorm/id1438201012 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/6wmtsNQCl0ToLeSkt6j4hs?si=439a1219b7924c9a RSS:

Donald Trump is free-wheeling with the media once again, saying America doesn't need another 'dummy' as President with Kamala Harris. Was this a step too far? Rep. Brandi Bradley (R-39) joins Dan to share her child's experience in the classroom with a teacher who insisted Leonardo da Vinci identified as 'gender fluid' in the 15th and early 16th centuries. Is there proof of this? Even so, why is this a point of emphasis in school?
NOW EVERYONE IS GENDER FLUID, AMIRIGHT? In what can only be called the Gayification of history a teacher told her class that the Mona Lisa, which is the most famous and most studied painting in the world, is actually a self portrait by the newly "gender fluid" Leonardo Da Vinci. Except what? A quick scan of Mona Lisa information on the internet shows this is a theory after all although one that has appeared fairly recently. After her kid was given this bit of history Rep. Brandi Bradley went to the school to ask the teacher about this and I've got Brandi at 12:30 to discuss it.
Lauren sits down with artist Boy Jr. (they/them) to talk relationships, gender, and their upcoming album "I Love Getting Dumped." Shortly after graduating, Boy Jr. (who describes their gender identity as "a non-binary unknowable entity who lives in your walls") was very interested in getting top surgery and starting testosterone. However, as they began to embark on their music career, they got the distinct sense that their success as an artist "hinged on being as desirable as possible to as large a pool of people as possible." As a result, they put gender on the backburner and leaned heavily into their femme identity. But if there's one thing we know about queerness, it's that you can't suppress it forever! Boy Jr. shares how much more authentic they feel now that they're "making decisions based on comfort instead of...desire to feel desirable." Plus, we discuss their deep foundational love for Joe Jonas, and the etiquette around giving your exes a li'l heads up when you're releasing breakup songs about them.Follow Boy Jr. on Instagram at @boyjrofficial, on TikTok at @boyjr.69, and on Twitter at @BoyJrMusic. You can also find them as "Boy Jr." on YouTube, Patreon, Fiverr, and alllll the music platforms. Last but not least, check out their Linktree at linktr.ee/boyjr, and look for the release of "I Love Getting Dumped" at the end of October!
It's all happening out there folks! A veritable 'white-lash' has erupted in cities across the UK following the brutal mass stabbing of young girls at a dance class by a second-generation Rwandan immigrant. Working-class Britons bearing the brunt of the social and economic effects of uncontrolled mass immigration have apparently reached their breaking point. Meanwhile, in what is probably not an unrelated issue, the Israeli regime has assassinated another political leader, this time the...

Are Labour and the Conservatives already prepping for the election? Both Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak are certainly behaving like they are. The Labour leader launched his first steps to change Britain, but will that help the party on the doorstep? And this week saw more culture war issues being flagged by Conservatives. Rishi Sunak wrote about his horror at disturbing gender ideology being taught in schools as the government brought in new guidance and rules banning classroom teaching about contested gender identity issues. To talk about this, on The Political Fourcast we're joined by Caroline Nokes, the Conservative Chair of Parliament's Women and Equalities Committee, and from Labour, the Former Culture Secretary, Ben Bradshaw, who is stepping down at the next election. Produced by Silvia Maresca, Annie La Vespa, Rob Thompson and Nick Jackson.
“Sexual fluidity is one or more changes in sexuality or sexual identity (sometimes known as sexual orientation identity). Sexual orientation is stable and unchanging for the vast majority of people, but some research indicates that some people may experience change in their sexual orientation, and this is slightly more likely for women than for men.[1] There is no scientific evidence that sexual orientation can be changed through psychotherapy.[2][3] Sexual identity can change throughout an individual's life, and does not have to align with biological sex, sexual behavior, or actual sexual orientation.[4][5][6] According to scientific consensus, sexual orientation is not a choice.[7][8][9] There is no consensus on the exact cause of developing a sexual orientation, but genetic, hormonal, social, and cultural influences have been examined.[9][10][11] Scientists believe that it is caused by a complex interplay of genetic, hormonal, and environmental influences.[7][9][11] Although no single theory on the cause of sexual orientation has yet gained widespread support, scientists favor biologically-based theories.[7][12] Research over several decades has demonstrated that sexual orientation can be at any point along a continuum, from exclusive attraction to the opposite sex to exclusive attraction to the same sex.[13]” -Wikipedia. “Genderfluidity is a non-fixed gender identity that shifts over time or depending on the situation. These fluctuations can occur at the level of gender identity or gender expression. A genderfluid person may fluctuate among different gender expressions over their lifetime, or express multiple aspects of various gender markers simultaneously.[1][2] Genderfluid individuals may identify as non-binary or transgender, or cisgender, which means they identify with the gender associated with their sex assigned at birth.[3][4] Genderfluidity is different from gender-questioning, a process in which people explore their gender in order to find their true gender identity and adjust their gender expression accordingly.[5] Genderfluidity continues throughout lives of genderfluid people.[6]” -Wikipedia. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/support

Lauren is joined by her friend and co-facilitator, Maggie Tielker (Episode 165), for an in-depth conversation with Lane Willis, whom Lauren and Maggie both know from the L.A. LGBT Center's HERstories group! Lane (they/them) is a *phenomenal* kindergarten teacher, who hopes their students will always remember them as "that one that wore the rainbow shoes." Lane knew that they "adored girls" as early as five years old, and also strongly identified with both Twiggy and Elton John. But a rushed marriage to a man at only nineteen years old quashed any chance of Lane exploring either their sexuality or their gender identity for many years. Lane shares how their involvement in an underground swinging community confirmed their long-suppressed attraction to women, and discusses how non-binary YouTubers guided them to their eventual gender epiphany at the age of fifty-two. For her first episode all by her lonesome, Lauren wanted to bring on "a guest who felt like home." Enter Brooke Berry, Lauren's BFF from college, whose incredible life experiences run the gamut from starting an AIDS coalition with a nun at the age of twelve, to living in South Africa, to working with Angelina Jolie (DON'T FREAK OUT, NICOLE!). Even *more* impressive than these achievements, however, is the fact that Brooke was literally in the room for Lauren's first ever girl-girl kiss, which Lauren finally dishes on in detail! Brooke reveals how she knew Lauren was gay even before *Lauren* knew Lauren was gay, and shares why she thinks so many theatre boys picked her as a queer-adjacent safe haven to come out to. She also discusses the unbridled joy of her brother's nascent journey with gender fluidity; plus, Lauren owns up to being "devoured" by her first ever queer relationship, which saw her largely peacing out on her entire friend group. Learn from her mistakes, lesbians!!!If you'd like to reach out to Brooke, feel free to do so via @comingoutpod on Twitter or Instagram, or at comingoutpod@gmail.com!This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5207650/advertisement
Maxine "Max" Feldman (1945-2007) was a folk singer-songwriter who made significant contributions to the women's music movement through her unwavering commitment to living authentically and openly. We're celebrating Pride Month with Icons: supreme queens of queer culture. Some are household names... others are a little more behind the scenes. All of them have defied social norms and influenced generations of people to be unapologetically themselves. History classes can get a bad rap, and sometimes for good reason. When we were students, we couldn't help wondering... where were all the ladies at? Why were so many incredible stories missing from the typical curriculum? Enter, Womanica. On this Wonder Media Network podcast we explore the lives of inspiring women in history you may not know about, but definitely should. Every weekday, listeners explore the trials, tragedies, and triumphs of groundbreaking women throughout history who have dramatically shaped the world around us. In each 5 minute episode, we'll dive into the story behind one woman listeners may or may not know–but definitely should. These diverse women from across space and time are grouped into easily accessible and engaging monthly themes like Educators, Villains, Indigenous Storytellers, Activists, and many more. Womanica is hosted by WMN co-founder and award-winning journalist Jenny Kaplan. The bite-sized episodes pack painstakingly researched content into fun, entertaining, and addictive daily adventures. Womanica was created by Liz Kaplan and Jenny Kaplan, executive produced by Jenny Kaplan, and produced by Liz Smith, Grace Lynch, Maddy Foley, Brittany Martinez, Edie Allard, Lindsey Kratochwill, Adesuwa Agbonile, Carmen Borca-Carrillo, Taylor Williamson, Ale Tejeda, Sara Schleede, and Abbey Delk. Holy hell, do we have a PIPING HOT EPISODE for you! When previous guest Avgi Saketopoulou and her partner Ann Pellegrini (both practicing psychoanalysts and faculty members at NYU) received an award for an academic article they co-authored, they were thrilled to find out that their paper would be published in a prestigious journal. They spent the following year working closely with the editors to revise their article for publication...only to be told at the last minute that they would be required to remove parts that the journal deemed "too political." Instead of bowing to pressure, Avgi and Ann decided to expand upon their thesis and publish it as a book, thereby making their work accessible to laypeople as well as academics. In this riveting conversation, Avgi and Ann discuss their controversial argument: that queer and trans people are not, to quote Lady Gaga, "born this way," but rather that any number of outside factors (including trauma) *can* affect and inform our sexuality/gender. It's a truly liberating, paradigm-shifting discussion about how we as queer people police ourselves as a result of (justified) fear that our words will be weaponized against us. And most importantly, we finally get to the bottom of the eternal question: *did* seeing the movie Mannequin as a child make Lauren gay??Follow Avgi and Ann on Instagram at @avgolis98 and @apell168 respectively. And give Jeff Bezos the finger by ordering their incredible book at uitbooks.com instead of at the other place! This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5207650/advertisement

Today we're rounding up a few news stories, but first we give an update on the Balenciaga saga after the company released yet another semi-apology. We discuss the Tampax tweet that sexualized tampons, which the company doubled down on before apologizing, as well as the NHL's tweet in support of a transgender hockey tournament, followed by the statement that "trans men are men and trans women are women." We talk about why these tweets are so off-base and the need to hold companies accountable. Then, we briefly look at the atrocious Colorado Springs shooting and the Left's heartless insistence that "anti-trans rhetoric" was the cause, only for it to come out that the suspect is non-binary. We take a look at Biden's "gender-fluid" nuclear official Sam Brinton, who was just charged with stealing a woman's luggage at the airport, and talk about the fascinating story of twin 30-year-old embryos being born. --- Timecodes: [01:00] Balenciaga update [06:04] Tampax tweet [18:02] NHL trans tournament tweet [23:35] Colorado shooter is "nonbinary" [32:42] Sam Brinton charged with stealing woman's luggage [43:34] 30-year-old embryos --- Today's Sponsors: Patriot Mobile — go to PatriotMobile.com/ALLIE or call 972-PATRIOT and use promo code 'ALLIE' to try Patriot Mobile for two months and get your third month for free!
